Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park Staircase

I go here to work out about three times a week I love it it's such a great workout. Occasionally there's too many people there just never go there between 4:00 and 6:00 if you don't like crowds. To reiterate it's a great workout!

Decided to visit the lower part of the park to see the extent of the flooding. Parked in the upper part of the park by the "Go Ape" registration building and took the stairs (a lot of people use them for exercise ) to the lower part of the park. With the road flooded and no vehicle traffic it was deserted and eerily quiet. Everything except a small part of the parking lot was flooded. There was also evidence of storm damaged trees. Last year there was a big project to remove Asian Carp from the lake which was pretty successful but some still remain. It will take awhile for the water to recede and then a major effort at clean up before the lake trail will be open again.

Love everything about Creve Coeur Park! Whether you want to just relax, ride your bike, do the stairs, bike trail, have a picnic, play volleyball, it’s there! Beautiful place to be!

What’s not to like about this little gem of a park, amazing sunset photos, several different places to get a variety of exercise, or just hang out and enjoy the views. Great place to gather as long as the weather permits.

Great hiking park

My favorite place to get my butt kicked and get some quality cardio in. .32 miles up and down distance wise. Scenic stairs that connect the upper and lower park sections. Think you're tuff? Run this mofo twelve times up and down?

This is definitely an aerobics challenge.

Great place to get your HIIT workout on the outdoor stairs in amongst the trees, view of the lake in winter, occasional deer, and best of all, fresh air! Five times up and down is one mile (about 55 flights of stairs). One time up is 11 flights of stairs.. For starters, take your time and do one time up and down, couple days a week, and increase the times up and down super gradually. Be sure to stretch, especially the lower body afterwards These cement stairs are located across the street from the main boat ramp, at the end of a parking lot. Halfway up the stairs you could also take a 3.5-4 mile loop hike, just below the upper level of the Creve Coeur Lake park. It's hard packed dirt, with some tree roots and minor obstacles along the way. Beware of fast moving mountain bikers on the trail. Great natural get away.

It's a nice place to get some exercise. I have enjoyed it for many years. Not usually crowded. Enjoy!!

I go early enough that the steps aren't packed with ppl toppling over one another. And I run the park early enough where there is a ni e breeze coming off the lake.

SO MANY TIMES THATS CREVE COEUR LAKE PARK AND STAIRCASE STEPS AREA I VISITED. BEAUTIFUL TREES, BEAUTIFUL GREENARY , BEAUTIFUL LOVELY NATURE , AND NICE SURROUNDINGS.

Calm and peaceful place with lots of scenic walking trails. The playgrounds are really good too. We love this place!

This is such a family-friendly park for a walk. There is also affordable paddle boarding options!

This paro is wonderful. It has steps for days lol and also a trail. O I love to come here during the spring and the summer time
