Bellerive Gardens Cemetery

This is a beautiful cemetery! Mandi has been so kind and very helpful to our family during such a sad time for us all. We lost my Mother at Thanksgiving in 2022 and my Father on Christmas day in 2023. We're thankful that Bellerive Gardens communicated so well with our funeral home and the whole process has gone very smoothly for us. For being such a difficult time, it was a very sweet experience for our family. Thank you to all at Bellerive Gardens!

Bellerive Gardens is well maintained and very clean. It is very easy to find where your loved ones are resting. They go out of their way to accommodate the family.

Very Quiet

most everything about this place seems pretty nice. the grounds are lovely in places. we just had a funeral there Saturday morning in the chapel. pretty nicely setup. no sound system to speak of . but the swarms of continuous gnats were horrible. they were thick and unabated. they were all over the body, the flowers and mourners. a family member brought in a home remedy to use and it helped but it did not get rid of them. they were everywhere. It was intolerable and upsetting. we had been told they tried everything from bombing to the best pest control, all the top people to work on it and it was better than it used to be. can't imagine how horrible it must have been then! BEWARE!

Office staff wants $50 for assistance locating a grave, and they clearly offer no help without it. Satellite reference photos help, but there are no markers in the cemetery, or even a map showing how numbering is done.

Quality Poor to fair
If you care about your relatives, then don't lay them to rest in this place because the people here DON'T care about anything but getting YOUR money! I've been dealing with bad experience after bad experience for more than 11 years with them.

Today, I went there to follow up on an issue I reported to the staff on a visit to my father's site on 12/12/12, the 11th anniversary of my fathers passing. Whan I arrived that day, I found the name plate of my father's newest neighbor to be hanging on crooked by a thread (just as I'd found my fathers nameplate more than 10 years prior). In my particular instance a decade ago, they corrected the problem and gave me a years worth of silk flowers to "make up for it".

When I reported poor Mrs. Johnson's nameplate was crooked, I was told it would be fixed and I went there today to find it being held in place by two 6 in long pieces of duct tape! REALLY!!!!! Duct tape? Have a bit of respect for the dead - or for anyone paying your company more than $2000 for a 2x2 box to house their remains.

Save yourself and your family some heartache and take your business elsewhere. I've got photos if you want proof! If I knew how to attach them here, I certainly would!

Echoing many of the other reviews - do NOT do business with Bellerive Gardens and / or Mandi Barrett, the Manager. My family and I were deceived regarding the surroundings associated with the burial plot we selected. Mandi has no recollection of the conversation, and thus offered to have the owner call me. It's been two months, and the owner has never called. Lying to people during their most vulnerable time is despicable.
