Jensen's Point Overlook

This was a cool overlook. Saw an old employer’s mine site! Many good memories returned to me. This brief but less stressful stop was very valuable to me. The surrounding area is so cool to view! Great sights and sounds! When passing through Missouri on Route 66 and you make it to Pacific, you MUST stop at Jensen’s Point Overlook!

Simply beautiful. I found this area by accident and made it a day. If you read this, you should do the same :)

Took a little road trip to go explore with the family. My teens enjoyed climbing to the top and we all appreciated the beautiful view. Pictures just don’t give you the feeling of a freight train rolling by, or sharing a picnic in the shade.

Beautiful Rte 66 roadside park. Scenic overlook of the Meramec River Valley and the train tracks. East of the Silica plant on Rte 66.

Lovely little scenic spot with a short climb up stone stairs.

This is a great historic site featuring a beautiful overlook with beautiful patios, walls, and a tower all built out of stone, in 1939, by members of Company 1770 of the Civilian Conservation Corps. It's a great stop, and we highly recommend it!

Great view, breezy, quiet. Makes wonder spot for photos and drawing.

The best hidden spot in the area. Beautiful and great views of the trees, hills, river, train tracks, and the traffic below.

Awesome VIEW! WHEN YOU GET TO THE TOP. Its not a bad climb, there is a hand rail all the way. There is a small park at top, great for picnic or just sitting. There is video cameras for safety.

Very beautiful view at the top!!! Clearly a lot of history there with all the notes from the people who have partied there throughout the decades. Lots of poison off the path area so it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to address that periodically. I'll say we certainly don't have anything like that in Kansas City side from The Scout.

My toddler loves to let out his energy by taking the hike up & down the rock stairs!

Pacific is City with wonderful places!

I was the officiant at a wedding here and the view is spectacular! The stairs were a lil tough, but worth the effort lol
