Happy Teriyaki Restaurant

Food was fantastic! Everything we had was great and looking forward to going back. Everything is made from scratch including the salad dressing!

Wholesome, fresh and healthy Japanese style cooking with some Korean and Chinese favorites. The fried rice and meats were not drenched in oil, they almost seemed baked, but perfectly juicy and delicious. Clean, fresh ingredients with superb flavors makes this my new favorite spot.

1st time eating here. Had general chicken and cashew chicken. Both were very good!!! Will definitely become regulars

I love the home made salad dressing and their salad is terrific . Just chopped lettuce and cabbage , but oh so yummy with that homemade dressing.

I got the spicy general Tsao chicken and the chicken Katsu (breaded chicken cutlet) and son got general Tsao and garlic shrimp ( they are butterflied and have a light topping that resembles bread crumbs) . Both our favorites are still the spicy general Tsao.

They hand prepare everything as you wait so allow some extra time for your meal. You wont be sorry !

The food is AMAZING!!!!! I hate that I scored the service so low because the food is soooo good.
I go here a lot and have learned to just deal with the owner/Staff being rude. I thought the 1st time she was rude was because she had a bad day but I have NEVER seen a smile on her face and she ALWAYS looks annoyed to be dealing with customers. They charge extra to even give a couple soy sauce packets and I'm not the only one that complains about how snappy the woman is.
She gets mad very easily.
Anyways that's my honest opinion but I still say the food is great if you don't mind the bad attitude.
(I would like to add the man that takes your order in the kitchen over the phone was always polite) I get mine to go so I can get in and out fast.
I highly recommend the Teriyaki chicken and Rice.

We have eaten here many times. Wonderful food. Very limited inside seating. Lots of locals get their food to go. We go there every time. Pick your eat times carefully. Their water and ice taste terrible. It is a local problem. Get bottled drinks without ice.

Best food that people want to call "Chinese." It is Korean and different, definitely not typical. The Spicy Pork is unforgettable. Operated completely by very hard working Owner's dedicated to serving you.

The lady who runs it may not be the nicest, but all her hand made sauces and foods are fantastic! Best Chinese food in the Table Rock Lake area hands down!

No seriously, this is the same type good you would get at a hibachi restaurant without all the fan fare and at a huge discount.

Any time they are open, for $15 you can get chicken, steak, and shrimp teriyaki in about 8 minutes.

It also comes with that type salad and dressing. This is a ginger style dressing with lettuce and cabbage.

I can't recommend Happy Teriyaki anymore.

This place slaps hard for what and where it is. Got take out as a contingency plan for dinner while camping with friends last minute. It was exponentially better than any place like this I have ever been too in the city.

I am always impressed with what this team of two achieves. They have great skill and dedication. I am grateful we have their restaurant in our little town.

I had just gone to silver dollar city and I stopped at this place to get dinner on the way home. Such a fantastic experience and the lady running the front end was doing a phenomenal job considering she was on her own. Overall, there were probably 2 employees working at most and the service was still pretty fast.

Me and my family love this place. Very delicious food. I always get the general and you can customize the spiciness. Can't get enough of that ginger dressing. I buy it in a 16 Oz cup from them

Superb! Their fried rice is great! And the Sweet and Sour Chicken is to die for. The wife and I went twice yesterday, and probably going again today, it was that good. Others' positive comments seem to say it better than I can. And the negative review below, turned out to be a total lie.

Love this Mom and Pop Korean Resturant. Gotta have that Teriyaki

My friend just moved to kimberling city and we decided to try this place out. Let me tell you when i say this is THE BEST japanese good I've ever had!! The sweet and sour chicken is to die for and different but extremely tasty!! We'll back

The best Sweet and Sour Chicken! I've read the reviews and apparently everything else is good too, but I just can't tear myself away from this deliciousness. The sauce is not the typical orange gel, it's a transparent sauce, but it's woohoo good.

Excellent tempera and everything else on the menu is amazing & authentic. Is run by a husband and wife who are so kind and thoughtful. Sometimes you do need to remember its just them working...him in the back and her in the front. So relax and enjoy your great food. Local fave and they love to.help tourists experience the true Ozarks

Having lived in an Asian District and having first generation Asian American friends and eaten food their families have made and having been around California, I've grown picky of where I get Asian food. This place is great! The bulgogi is pretty amazing. Everything is very homemade tasting.
It's pretty difficult around here and even in Springfield to find good Asian food. So this is my new favorite!
