Old Trace Park

Perfect place for a walk, quiet day/eve, date, play, family day, you name it. Geese, walking trail, plenty of shaded spaces, and LOTS OF ROOM for everyone. I had my birthday picnic at Old Trace and it was beautiful

What do I need to really say about a place on the water anywhere? Water is my happy place.. lakes, rivers, creeks, ponds, reservoirs, oceans. This one does not disappoint either ❤💯👍

I come here to walk and relieve stress. I call it my place of peace. I love hearing the water, and the breeze feels great.

Very nice park! I'm surprised that the bathrooms had AC. And the dog park is very nice and spacious.

Great family-friendly and dog-friendly park in Ridgeland. Excellent views of the reservoir and plenty of grass to pan out. They also have 18- hole disc golf, gazebos, playground, a dog park, and often host festivals.

During the summer they will charge $5 for parking, but you can always park for free in the big lot next door by the boat launch.

Big clean park with nice slope towards the reservoir. Perfect place for Pepsi pops which we attended this year. Plenty of room to throw frisbees and footballs and enjoy orchestral music as the sun sets with fireworks! Thanks to all who maintain this park.

The seagulls are beautiful to watch as they fly over your head and dive for the food that you give them. Gods creatures can be so beautiful if you know how to appreciate them.

The family and I enjoyed our picnic the tables and seating were clean but I still put down a tablecloth and covered the seats. The view was spectacular, atmosphere was peaceful. This was my second trip there this month, I found a nice clean and safe park for my family.

Pepsi Pops great evening. Park also has a new restroom and dogie park. Easy access to Natchez Trace trails, water and boat ramp next door.

Nice park near the water, great for gathering and playgrounds are close for children to play . Bathroom facilities are also close in walking distance.

It was beautiful and so inviting. I met with a client the first time I went but I will definitely be going back!

This place is so beautiful and loved that people travel from around the state, even from out of state just to be here.

Park is good for potluck’s and spend some time with family and friends . Beautiful reservoir view

I enjoy going here and looking at the water and just being one with people. I’ve never like the grass but for the most part if you put a cover down you’ll be alright. It’s the perfect place for family and friends outing and they have a trail.
