The main thing about this business other than it's impressive catalog of materials was the sheer niceness of its owners.

At Myra's General/Rusty Antiques, my mother went looking for a magnet to represent Valdese. When they couldn't find exactly what she was looking for, the store owners just literally gave her another magnet for no charge. They had already offered us a bottle of water when we walked in the door.

Valdese is definitely the nicest place I have ever been in my life!

This shop is full of unique finds and the prices are great. The owner was very kind and helpful. We'll look forward to visiting next time we're in NC!

Recently made a trip in to Myra's General Store and it is under new management now and the place looks great! The new manager is so friendly, she is offering new items and has new/more vendors plus new items to browse and she has really cleaned and brightened the place up ! I will definitely be going back!

Lots of unique finds and the owner is friendly and knowledgeable of the pieces in his store. Will definitely be back!
