Rent-A-Home of the Triad - Property Management

I have had near 0 issues out of the Company. The home I rent has had minimal issues and all have been taken care of promptly. When my Old Lady labbo passed they even assisted with my next pup-venture months later and work with multiple rescues as well, which is fantastic!

I spoke with Erin and she was super sweet!! I bought my first rental property and she helped me rent my home out from start to finish. I am quickly transitioning all of my rental properties to Rent A Home

I have been using Rent a Home of the Triad for 9 years to manage my rental property. They are the best of the BEST. I live 200 miles away and never had to worry about receiving my rent money (which was automatically deposited to my account) or the condition of my property. They are on top of things. Kerri, Jeff, the Karens and all who have helped me made me feel like part of the Rent a Home Family! Sadly I am terminating my relationship with them as my grandson is moving into my rental home. They have assured me I can always come back if that does not work out. They could not have been more gracious and continue to be of help to me. Thank you! I love all of you and God bless you.

I stayed in one of the homes managed by Rent a Home for just over a year. The office staff was always helpful and when it came to maintenance requests, I never had a problem.

In many of my past experiences with other rental agencies/apartment complexes in Greensboro (cough City View) I had very negative experiences, especially when it came to moving out. With Rent a Home, move out was smooth and the charges that came out of my deposit were understandable and not at an inflated cost. I can’t say I’ve ever gotten my list of final security deposit charges and not been infuriated. Now I can.

Great experience overall

Due to a very quick job relocation/promotion we did not have a ton of time to get a new house rented. RAH was fast and willing to go above and beyond scheduling my wife and I to see places that fit our needs. Michelle was honest and really did everything she could to help us out. After our first choice did not work out Erin got us switched to a new place and we signed the lease in a matter of minutes taking a huge pressure off my plate allowing me to focus on my busy work schedule. I know how busy they all are but they made this process easier to deal with. I would recommend them to everyone in the Greensboro area

After several years of having my home on the market for sale with no results, we decided to rent it out and gave it to Rent A Home. We are very pleased with the way they check out prospective renters who are interested in renting the house and like the fact that we are given the option to approve or disapprove an applicant. We have been very happy with the tenants selected. Our home was recently vacated and within two weeks was rented again. The electronic deposits and electronic statements are great. I can always correspond with the staff via email and they get right back to me when I have a question or concern.

I take pride in my home and always make sure it is cleaned thoroughly before it is rented. Hopefully, any new tenant will leave it clean when they move out.

My Husband got promoted and we were asked to relocate to Greensboro on very short notice. Rent a Home was the first place I contacted 2 days before we were in town to look for a place. The front desk girls were more than accommodating, they fit us in to look at a bunch of places over the weekend. Michelle was amazing she took us around to properties even after hours, she was determined to find us a place. Our first choice was not available by the time our applications got processed but we had back up plans and Erin was amazing at getting us approved for that almost immediately! I can’t say enough good things about this experience, it was very stressful to find out you’re moving and having less than 2 weeks to find a place, but the staff at Rent a Home went above and beyond for us and we can’t thank them enough!!!

I highly recommend Rent-A-Home for residential property management. I have been pleased with the professionalism Rent-A-Home has shown in managing my properties and those of other family members over the past four or five years. I especially appreciate that they show the properties personally instead of handing out keys to prospective tenants. I have never had a prospective tenant stood up for an appointment time or their repair concerns ignored. I have used two other management companies in the area and Rent-A-Home comes closest to managing my property the way I would manage it myself.

Rent-A-Home of the Triad has managed my NC rental properties since 1989 and helped me acquire a few additional rental properties, sight unseen. This company has remarkable employee retention which has allowed me to receive consistent personalized service over these many years. Slowly over time I have slightly expanded the number of rental properties I own. All of that expansion has been, by design, within the Rent-A-Home service area. It was perhaps possible to obtain a slightly greater risk-weighted return on my investment in a different housing market. What was almost certainly not possible was obtaining such a hassle free property management experience from anyone other than Kerri and her team at Rent-A-Home. Also, with no regrets I diversified a bit and followed them into the Asheville market. I was introduced to this company from the other side of things as I was new to Greensboro and was looking for a house to rent. They were very professional and I was sufficiently impressed to use them to manage my property when I left NC.

I have been having a maintenance issues this week and I have been contacted by several vendors to resolve. I called the office and spoke with Sam to explain the original maintenance request and she was very knowledgeable about the issue and offered to meet the vendors at my house so I didn't have to take time off work to meet them. She was very pleasant and had a smile in her voice. You don't get that very often any more. I really appreciated it.

Great property management company, Fair with how they handle the application process, you just have to remember that because they do not own the homes they represent, it is not their final decision but the owners decision on whom is approved for the property.
Willing to work with you for a showing time that fits with your schedule and their schedule, just always prepare and make sure you call a few days in advance of when you are wanting to see the property so you can have the best choice on the schedule.

My husband and I were new to Greensboro and knew nothing of the area. The Rent-a-Home folks helped us know what neighborhoods we may prefer as well as advising us on the best approach to renting while trying to sell a house in another city. Their staff were professional, and prompt. Their process is optimal for the clients they represent (Owners) as well as for the clients they service (Renters). If you are an adult who will take care of the rental property as you would your own, you will have no worries with these folks. If you are very young, or inexperienced in the ways of the real world, this process may be a challenge to you. I appreciated their processes for maintenance requests and was not disappointed in the two years we rented from them. They always delivered what they promised! After all, they are not there to be your friend - they are there to do a professional job. GREAT JOB RENT-A-HOME! We will always recommend your service!

When I tell you this TEAM exceeded 5 stars and 2 thumbs up they truly did! Karen gave me so much reassurance. Michele was just an added bonus. Tierra helped me more than she will ever know. Sam assist me after hours. When I say this has been by far the BEST moving experience I have had I mean it. I'm looking forward to working with this Team for the duration of my time frame with Rent A Home. I can not say "Thank You" enough for the great customer service, everything was done in a timely manner, and I'm so pleased with my RENTAL HOME. When I picked up my keys and garage remote on Thursday the process also exceed my expectations. Thank You So Much for answering all my questions.

January was my timeframe to move to Greensboro or High Point. After searching for a little while I came across one property and I gave Rent-A-Home a ring and an email. They made the process simple and even gave me two tours of the property. Upon my moving into the property, they gave me an easy-to-read to-do list with phone numbers and dates. They made sure I knew all the details and pass codes and such. So far, so good.

Was looking for a new home quick and came across the home I am currently in from rent a home. I applied for the home scheduled to have a look at it and from that point it was all done from there. Less than a week i was approved for it and less than 2 weeks i was able to move in. Love the staff they work quick and easy.

I have used Rent A Home for two years now and they are great! Best deals around. I even got 100% of my security deposit back last year - that has never happened in my life! And they respond to maintenance requests within hours.

Words cannot even begin to express my gratitude for the phenomenal team at Rent-A-Home. The tornado that came through Greensboro on Sunday hit two of my investment properties. Rent-A-Home was on it first thing from going to check on my tenants, to calling the insurance company, to filing the claims. They truly go above and beyond. Thank you Rent-A-Home! They are worth their weight in gold and then some!!!

I have rented from RAH for 2 years. Their response rate to my requests is very prompt and the vendors they work with are professional, communicate well, and are equally timely in their responses. My leasing agent is reasonable, honest, and professional. I would rent from them again.
