Quality Inn West of Asheville

Location was right off the highway easy to find. The room was clean in every way. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely polite. I had called to book a room with a queen bed and whom ever I spoke to gave us a full size bed. The gentleman at the front desk apologized and gave us an upgrade to a king bed for the same price. When we asked for restaurants close by he apologized again and told us we would need to travel 12 miles farther, which he was going to cancel our room and get us one at the exit where the restaurants were. We told him no need to. Can't tell you about the breakfast because we left to early to enjoy it.

Have stayed here a few times now and its a nice place to spend the night. Front manager is a total treat and very nice. Goes above and beyond. Rooms were nice and we will be staying again.

The beds were the most comfortable and so we're the pillows! The breakfast was cereal, waffles you make yourself and toast you can put in the toaster. It was good! I made a waffle and it was good and so was the warm syrup. Clean bathrooms and for sized rooms. The rooms are located inside a hall you have to use your room key to open the door for added security. No complaints at all and would stay here again in the future!

Hot shower, smells clean, friendly staff, very comfortable bed. Perfect for the price.

Older property with its age showing but, the friendly staff, great housekeeping, essential furnishings and pet friendly rooms won us over. Excellent value and we slept good. The coffee wasn’t very good but the rooms were comfortably appointed and the bed was okay. Would definitely stay again!

The building is modern, outside areas are clean and free of trash. The owner was working the front desk when I arrived and was extremly polite and friendly. The room was modern, looked recently updated, bathroom was clean, tub free of mildew growth. The bed was very comfortable, the bed linens were clean and not torn or tattered. All in all, for the cost this hotel is a great bang for your buck. I enjoyed staying here. Will definetly stay here again without hesitation.

The attendant at the front desk was very knowledgeable and made check in very easy since I stayed at a quality in last week all my info was in computer. Rooms were very clean and quiet .

We blew in at 11pm, met a kind and friendly desk clerk who was quick to show us where a safe parking spot was for our pull behind Carrgo Mate trailer. Lobby was neat and tidy. Our Queen double had nearly new bedding, bathroom was tiny, but updated with granite counters, tub was generously sized, the whole room and bath were spotless. We enjoyed a quiet restful night and a better than average free breakfast, waffles, eggs, sausage, gravy, and biscuits. Would recommend to everyone and would stay here again. The staff are very nice! The hotel is super clean! It is kind of high to drop in without reservations, we paid $132 when we got there at 3am and out at 11 the next morning but at least it was a good nights rest in a safe area and a clean room and building!!

Nice spot, clean and fir a night stay heading somewhere else and off the road, with the stay. Breakfast selections were limited but ok

There is handicapped parking and handicapped accessible building. Rooms were well cleaned, no bugs. The front desk was very helpful and friendly during our stay. They helped us find a great place to eat and drink. There was a breakfast we took to our room too. Continental I think it's called. Well stay here again next time we pass thru.

Room was clean, spacious and pretty nice. The person that checked me in was also very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a stay here in the area. It's also close to some fast food restaurants that you can walk to, or have pizza hut deliver to your room.

My home caught on fire a few days ago. I had nowhere to go. All the hotels in Waynesville wouldn't rent to us. This is the only hotel I could get into. I am so thankful for the wonderful staff here for helping me and my daughter in our time of need! Thank you all so much for your compassion and kindness! The room is great, very clean, nice comfy beds and pillows. It's been a great experience all around.

We stayed here for just one night to attend a wedding in October. It was a Saturday night so the hotel was pretty full, especially since other wedding guests were staying here as well. The rooms were a nice size and clean (Im always one to tear apart the bed, check the mattress and all that). The hotel its self was very clean as well and nicely decorated. The complimentry breakfast looks like the picture they have posted. The breakfast room can get a bit crowded on a Sunday morning (to be expected) but the staff was amazing and kept everything stocked and clean. There were a lot of options for breakfast so I'm sure everyone is able to find something they'd like. There are some quick eats right outside and a few more down the road. Not too far from Chestnut Ridge (where the wedding was). Would have loved to have had more time to explore the area but had to leave to get back to work that Monday. My only complaint would be that there is no elevator, not a big deal for us because we were only staying one night and didnt have a ton of luggage, plus the hotel only has 2 levels but would be a little annoying if we were staying for an extended time or stopped on the way to a week long vacation and had a ton of things. Also may be annoying for a larger family who has to worry about mutliple kids luggage, car seats, etc. Staff seemed cautious of who they put on the 2nd floor and Im sure they would be more then willing to make sure your placed on the first floor if needed, espeically for those who are handicapped and cant do stairs.

Definitly would stay here again if werr ever back in the area!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room is quiet, very clean, and there is a mini fridge w/freezer and a microwave in the room. Towels have been replaced daily and room freshly stocked with cups, tissues, and toilet paper. Conveniently located right off I-40.

A good place to stay on a short visit. The front desk staff was kind and helpful and beds were pretty comfy. I usually don't sleep well at hotels, but I crashed like a sack of rocks at this one. I'd stay there again.

My husband and I, and my daughter, son-in-law and 3 grandchildren planned a trip to the Biltmore estate for July. I found this Quality Inn in Canton and decided that the trip in to Asheville wouldn't be too far if we stayed here. I reserved 2 rooms, 1 king and 1 queen double. When we arrived, the booking agent had given us the properly reserved rooms and they were adjoining. The rooms were lovely, with very modern and nice, clean furnishings. Our king room was very spacious and comfortable. The queen double room was also nice, but a little more cramped than ours because of the 2 separate beds, but was still very comfortable. We were checked in by Mr. Nanda, and he was extremely helpful, hospitable and courteous. He answered all my questions and said to let him know if we needed ANYTHING. He showed us on the site map how to get to our room, the best place to park to make sure our vehicles would be seen on the security cameras, how to get to the pool and where the dining area was, saying coffee was available 24/7. He was so helpful and polite during our entire stay--he was one of the nicest hotel employees we have ever encountered. Mrs. Desai was on the morning shift and she also was a most excellent hostess. One of my grandsons used my husband's towel, so I asked to exchange it for a dry one, and she obliged and said to just keep the first one. I also forgot to pack my husband's toothbrush and she provided one for him. Breakfast each morning was awesome and there was a good choice available for each of us. She kept everything plentiful and fresh. She and Mr. Nanda both did a fantastic job of keeping the site clean, comfortable and enjoyable! They were accommodating, helpful and attentive. Kudos to both of them! We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Asheville area!

We LOVED the front desk lady, she was super nice and funny. The beds are also honestly THE MOST COMFORTABLE beds and pillows I've ever experienced in a hotel, even more than expensive resorts.

Room was extremely clean and staff was very friendly and respectful. Would definitely stay here again.
