Rachel’s Rose Cottage

Such a great little find on the Guilford College campus. This unassuming cafe is in a plain cream building with very limited parking nearby but perfectly walkable for students and faculty on campus.

This coffee shop has light pastries like 🧁 muffins, 🥐 croissants, pound 🍰 cake and more. They also have plenty of ☕🍵 teas and coffee, along with tasty espresso drinks like lattes, cappuccinos, and more.

The staff are friendly and have your order ready fast. This location also has ample indoor and outdoor seating with a ♿ handicap accessible entrance, seating, and walk ways.

I stopped by while doing a summer program, this place has an amazing vibe. The staff were very friendly and patient with me as I ordered. I decided to try something new and it ended up being really good. I could picture this being a nice spot to do schoolwork and enjoy a little treat!

It looks very cute but will only resume regular hours on Monday Jan 8th 2024, so I unfortunately didn’t get to go

The sweetest little coffee shop! Located on Guilford College campus and the baristas are always kind, quick, and thoughtful. The coffee is delicious and they also offer pastries. The little patio is perfect to sit and enjoy your coffee.

A lovely little cafe that's perfect for students on campus. Lots of seating area and provides lots of delicious drinks and pastries. The service was amazing and very quick. The location is located in the middle of the campus so difficult to find if not a student, but still in a good place to take a walk around the campus.

The atmosphere is a breeze on a sunny day or a cozy night in, typing on my computer & drinking iced coffee and warm pastries. The taste is soft on my lips. The cafe is decorated in such an eloquent way, vintage seating and a wooded rooftop. Rachel’s Rose Cafe is definitely a spot you want to visit if you’re wanting to fall in love with a new study spot. The music is always perfect for any occasion. Sometimes, I sit on the patio, reading and just think I’m in the story itself. The baristas are absolutely charming. They’re all kind and patient but quick and clever.

This unique coffee house has the most wonderful atmosphere. The warm natural fireplace is inviting.
Rachel's Rose Cottage is definitely not a corporate run franchise ... the Barista's are experienced/friendly, the pastries are baked locally and the prices are lower than the chains. When you are near the corner of Friendly and Guilford College Rds, Rachel's is a must stop on the beautiful campus of Guilford College.
