One of the best Mexican Family Restaurants I've ever had the pleasure to visit. The food was great and the service was excellent. A free Salsa bar was provided to compliment your meal. The Salsa bar was a surprise and made with the freshest ingredients . The avocado dip was amazing. If your traveling along I-40 or coming out of the Mountains, you must stop here. Prices were excellent too and good portions. I can't wait for another road trip because I will definitely be stopping at Canelos Mexican Family Restaurant in Canton.

The food and service was fantastic. I enjoyed every bit of the food we ordered. The building and bathrooms were a bit lacking, but they made up for it with the amazing food and prices. Will definitely be back.

I was driving through the BRP and unexpectedly stumbled upon this hidden gem family restaurant in Canton, NC. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the servers were extremely friendly and helpful despite the restaurant being extremely busy on a Sunday evening. I never expected to find such wonderful Mexican cuisine in small town North Carolina but I am very glad I did. Great bang for the buck

Some of the best Mexican food we’ve had in quite a while. The staff was friendly and if we’re ever driving back through this little town then this will definitely be where we stop!

A small Mexican restaurant, but incredible food! Every dish comes out quick and fresh. The salsa bar has several options; something for everyone, and is also fresh. If you end up with leftovers, they reheat well and are just as delicious as when your food comes to the table! The waitresses are all kind, too.

Does not look like much. But the pork carnitas are too absolutely die for!! Recommend checking it out!!

If you are in the mood for something different in Canton. I'd recommend this place. The portions are huge! Good value too.

This restaurant is great. We ate here while traveling and had a fantastic dinner. The servers were very friendly and I loved the salsa bar. Many yummy types of salsa to try. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend this restaurant!!

This place is great. We stumbled upon it by accident after going to a car show in Maggie Valley a couple of years ago. We live about an hour and a half or so away and we'll make a trip over just to have lunch or dinner. They've got good food at good prices. Their chimichangas and fajitas are great and they also have a salsa bar with all types of different salsas. Don't judge a book by its cover, this place will surprise you.

We were visiting from KY for the weekend & had been traveling all day. We were seated and immediately brought crispy, hot chips and a complimentary bean dip. We ordered ice cold beer pitchers and were able to choose salsa from the salsa bar- amazing!! The food was delicious, fresh, and service was great too. Great experience especially after a long day of traveling!
