This place is great. They listened to our specific painting project and gave great advice. The service is prompt and personable. The products selection was fantastic. My husband was dreading going to Lowes to talk to inexperienced folk but he came home thrilled talking to a family business with 50+ years of experience.

I discovered Strothkamp’s in 1978 when I moved to West County. It was, and continues to be, one of the best discoveries I have ever made! If you are looking for wallpaper, just describe what you want and they will go directly to the book that meets your needs. If you want to color-match paint to something, they are masterful at this! I have 100% confidence in Strothkamps to always give me the best advice. They have been doing this for a long time! You can’t find a friendlier, more knowledgeable or complete paint store!

Very helpful, knowledgeable staff. I've been a devotee of another brand for many years, but decided to give Benjamin Moore paint a try because I love some of the colors. After using the paint today, I don't see ever going back to the other brand. I know there are other stores in the area selling Benjamin Moore paint, but I will be going back to Strothkamp's because of the fantastic service.

I had some wall paint I'd purchased from them at least 15 years ago and was wondering if it was still good. They took the time to check it out and said it was in good shape. I also bought some ceiling paint from them that went on beautifully with the roller covers they recommended. Very pleased with the personal attention!

You honestly don't get service like this from big box stores. I have gone in there for years with ridiculous painting and wallpaper questions and issues and they know their stuff. We moved to Wildwood and we're happy to hear that they moved a little closer towards us. We can't wait to check out the new place!
