Battleground Veterinary Hospital

I've been taking my pets to the Battleground Veterinary Hospital since the mid 2000's. They have performed surgeries, exams, vaccinations, and everything else under the sun for my pets throughout the years. Not only are they so clearly passionate and loving towards animals but they are affordable as well. I can take my pets here knowing they don't have a predatory practice pushing excessive procedures for the goal of wracking up a bill. I know my animals are in good hands here and they truly want what's best for your pet.

Dr. Amos and his staff are all so kind and they take their time getting to know your pet. Dr. Amos listens and is also very practical when it comes to care. He lays out your options for treatments with clear costs beforehand. We have been coming here for years now and I cannot say enough good things about them.

We have taken our dogs to see Dr. Amos for years. He and the staff have always treated the pups like they are their own. Everyone there is kind and patient. Dr. Amos is a thoughtful, straightforward, and realistic vet. I couldn't imagine having anyone else to partner with for the health of my dogs.

Dr. Amos really does care about every patients animals . He gives the best medical care possible and is very open & Honest about your fur babies treatment . We really do appreciate his love and respect for our beloved furbabies.

Dr Amos and his staff are so amazing. My baby Whiskey tested parvo and he taught me how to give her SubQ IV and sent home some meds for me to give her. My sweet girl was 3 months old weighing 3lbs. I knew she didn’t have a good chance being so small and so young. But I did exactly what he told me too and SHE MADE IT!!! We spoke daily and gave updates on Whiskey and she pulled through. I can’t thank ALL the staff enough. They are so welcoming.. Dr Amos, Mika, Brittany, you are all amazing. Thank you for saving my Whiskey girl.

Dr Amos is absolutely top notch at surgical procedures, dealing with cats and calmly helping owners.

Our cat had a large growth on his tail that wouldn't heal. As feared, Dr Amos (correctly) helped us conclude a tail removal was best. It turned out the growth was cancer. The surgery was so well done that the tail looked clean, and healed almost from the day we left surgery. Our cat is doing amazingly well now. The whole procedure went better than we could have imagined.

Dr Amos and his staff clearly love cats, and they just go about their business with little drama or issues. It's like a small town Vet in the best way. We're glad to have found them and recommend him to all cat owners.

Dr Amos is a good veterinarian. He is very knowledgeable, and he takes his time.

I cannot say enough about Dr Amos and his staff. I’ve been going to Battleground vet for years and the staff is amazing. They truly care about you and your animals. They’re insanely caring and nice. They go above and beyond, every single time. Truly can’t put it into words. 10/10.

Dr. Amos and his team are kind, thorough, and knowledgeable. Everyone has such a calm demeanor, which is just what our pups need. I love how quickly they get us into a room. It’s so clear they all truly love animals and respect their humans. We are so thankful we found his office when we moved to Greensboro! We have been to a few vets in Raleigh and Greensboro over the years, and he is by far the BEST!!

They were so helpful in providing me information regarding my new puppy. The prices are also very affordable and the staff really seem to care about my fur baby.

Dr. Amos and his staff are top notch! We found him by asking around town because our last vet moved states. He has been our 4year old pups vet since he was a baby and only 1 pound... he has now taken on our newest family member and we know and trust that he will do right by us and them. Even though we moved 45mins away. We feel he is worth the drive. Once you find a vet you really like and you pups bond with, you dont just up and move them... We love Dr. Amos and all of his staff they are AWESOME!!!

Incredible staff, and Dr Amos is the best. My entire family takes all their pets up there. I actually breed Labrador Retrievers and every single dog I have are so super happy and excited when it's time to go visit Dr Amos and his staff. I even recommend that my puppy buyers who are local take their puppies there and they are always so pleased after they do. I highly recommend Battleground Veterinary Hospital.

I cannot say enough good things about this man and his staff. He works very hard and long hours and really does genuinely care about every single animal he treats.
He will also be straight up with you about your options and actually answered my questions as if my dog was one of his own. We will not take our business anywhere else if we have the option to see Dr. Amos and his staff. Thank you and keep doing what you are doing!

We have been going to see Dr.Amos for years. He has been amazing with our cats and always very compassionate and professional. I swear he is a cat whisperer.
Today we showed up thinking that our appointment was at 11:30 but it was at 2:30. After hearing our cat's obvious anxiety from being in their carriers Dr.Amos fit us right in and checked out both our cats. He did not want them to be anxious for any longer than needed.
An obvious animal lover and a great Vet. Wouldn't trust our babies with anyone else.

By far the best vet and staff in Greensboro! Over the years it is clear that Dr Amos and his staff have a genuine care and love for our dogs. One of our dogs is older and has dealt with a myriad of issues over the past few years and they have gone above and beyond the duties of a normal clinic to help make things easier for us and find every way possible for us to continue to enjoy our time with her. There is never another vet I would use for any pets our family has!

Dr. Amos is great and I am so glad we found him. He is gentle with his exam/treatment (in our case dogs) and fully explains to us pet parents issues and options. He tried very hard to find a cure for a very rare problem with one of our dogs, much more so that the other three vets we saw for this condition. I highly recommend Dr. Amos and his great staff!

Dr. John is an amazing, very knowledgeable veterinarian who very clearly loves animals, even my big rambunctious staffie that peed all over the exit hallway. Staff is wonderfully kind as well.

Dr. Amos and his entire staff are the friendliest, most professional my wife and I have ever dealt with. There is not a single vet that we will ever take our "fur babies" to in Greensboro. We've been going there for several years and have gotten nothing but the most helpful, accurate care for our dog and cat.
We could not recommend them any higher!
