Sheridan Medical Lodge

The minute we walked into the entry way, we knew that this was going to be the best place for our dad, who had Alzheimer's and was rapidly deteriorating. The entire staff was always kind, professional, and willing to help in any way possible. We found everyone at SML to be genuinely interested in providing the best care possible. Decisions made regarding his care were always discussed with us in ways that we were able to understand. Staff worked closely with Hospice when that became a part of dad's care. This facility proved to be above and beyond anything we even hoped for. We wanted the best for dad, and that's what we all got. Forever thankful to Wendy, Lupe, Holly, Susan, and the list goes on....for their acts of kindness and compassion as dad transitioned from this life to the next. Sheridan Medical Lodge takes care of the entire family.

Words cannot adequately express our gratitude for the incredible people at Sheridan. From the moment my sister and I entered into this beauitful facility and were greeted by the kind staff at the front desk, we knew God had led us to the perfect home for our father. Through every step of our father's journey from his last months on this earth to his first step into heaven, the wonderful caregivers at SML treated him with great patience, care, and dignity. As a man struggling with the last stages of dementia, they were always understanding and supportive of not only him, but of my sister and me as we navigated this difficult journey. We will forever be grateful for each of the office workers, nurses, and staff who so lovingly cared for our dad.

I was at Sheridan fromo3 27 to 4 11. The therapy team is amazing especially Elizabeth. Kirsten is also wonderful. Made amazingpeogress insuch ashortt time. Calllights andweredpromptly. Notasinpressedwitht he food.

I spent two and a half weeks at this rehab facility in 11/2023 and 12/2023. Every person I had contact with treated me with dignity and respect and worked hard to get me back into my home. Thank you so much!!

This is the 5th Rehab/SNF I've been in during my life, and the BEST. Sheridan is an extremely fresh and clean facility. Very attentive, compassionate, hardworking staff, as well as pleasant and helpful administration. The OT/PT rehab staff were professional and took me beyond my physical expectations. The food was pretty good, and the extra social activities made my stay very comfortable. As with any organization there were a few hiccups, but administration and floor staff addressed and resolved them. Great work and thank you for your service.

My mother went to Sheridan for rehab. I was impressed that they were aware of all her medical needs before she even checked in. Very hard working staff. The facility is clean and my mothers actually enjoyed her rehab.

My grandmother was in a different facility and things were not going well, my grandfather was an emotional wreck over it and all it took was one call to Wendy and Holly and they got had her in their building the next day after a visit with their DON, Heather, who took the time to meet with my grandfather and listen to his care concerns. She truly cared and gave him so much comfort and peace of mind! We couldn't of asked for better care and attention as she is terminal and they worked hard to get her back home on Hospice where she is still currently (almost a year later). We never expected her to make it out, let alone still here with us. She still goes for respite visits when the family has anything major going on and its so comforting knowing she's happy and well looked after! Oh and my grandfather is a hard man to please as he wants nothing more than the best for the love of his life, and he LOVES Sheridan and the care Dr. Mahmood provides. I can't say thank you enough for the care and peace of mind they have provided us!

I work here and am still surprised that this place is in Burkburnett. Certainly not your typical nursing care facility.
Like everyone else we aren’t perfect but we love our residents as they are our second family.

They took very good care grandfather. I am very thankful for the service they gave.

I am a visitor here weekly. It is always clean, friendly staff, and residents are always happy and engaged. I would not hesitate to put a relative here.
