Yamato Japanese Steakhouse

Food was delicious, presentation was great, and the service was wonderful. The server was also making my sushi and I watched her wash hands and put gloves on. Very kind and quiet. Seemed happy to help.

On my way to Nashville I stopped for lunch off the highway and found myself at Yamato steakhouse of Japan. I had a lunch bento box I added, chicken teriyaki, and shrimp teriyaki.

Everything was outstanding. The onion soup was nice. The chicken and the shrimp were excellent. The vegetables were good. There may have been just a little bit more sauce in that compartment than necessary.

The sushi roll was good, but not great

If I lived nearby, I would absolutely frequent Yamato!

Visit the restaurant with local friends today. Food and service are great. Hibachi seafood and habachi steak are fantostic! Be back!

This has been an awesome restaurant for years and it still rocks. Their prices went up a little, but the food is worth it. The staff are outstanding folks, the building is like stepping into a different place, a cool place with awesome sweet tea.

We’ve been in Manchester for years and finally came here for the first time ever tonight. I cannot believe this place isn’t constantly packed! The food was wonderful, the service was extremely fast and the people working there are absolutely lovely. 20/10, this is some of the best food you’ll get around here! Get the volcano roll, you won’t be disappointed.

Great food! Service is quick, and they check in on you regularly. My only critique would be that it's a bit dark in the seating area, but that's hardly worth passing up good sushi.

We got the sushi: avocado rolls,tuna roll and chicken tempura roll. With the salmon hibatchi and chicken hibatchi. Wow is all I can say I would give you ten ⭐ if I could!

My grandmother and I absolutely adore this place. We are returning customers of this establishment. The food is wonderful, the lady that runs it is very friendly and offers good services, and the atmosphere is calm and casual. I highly recommend this place for Japanese food enthusiasts.
