El Molcajete - Manchester's Mexican Restaurant

I have been to the restaurant twice each time my experience was wonderful.

I have also ordered take out from them. We ordered the double fajitas with chicken, steak and shrimp. There was plenty of food for 2 people with leftovers for the next day.

Overall, I would order take out or dine in again here.

What a terrific Mexican restaurant! Best I e been to in a while. I had the Molcajete Special and loved it, but there was enough there for 2 or 3 people. My wife had the Burrito Hawaii and likewise enjoyed it with way more there than she could eat. Margarita was good, and the Dogs Equis Dark on tap hit the spot. Staff was very attentive without being bothersome, and of course everyone was friendly. Four big thumbs up from my wife and me!

Exceeded our expectations for location. Vegetarian menu includes veggie fajitas with broccoli, cauliflower & carrots and a spinach quesadilla. Whole beans were delicious. Food was a bit on the greasy side, but it hit the spot. Tanya was an excellent server!

I highly recommend this restaurant the service was amazing food was on point I got the fajita mix from the lunch menu for dessert I got the 3 leches cake that it was delicious the waitress was did and awesome job taking care of us super nice and polite I love the way they treated me that was my experience here I will definitely go back.

Just passing through Manchester and stopped for late lunch. It was fantastic! New building with cute decor. Very friendly staff. Food was excellent! Very flavorful, fresh, lots of options (even for veggie lovers). Wish we lived closer so we could eat there every week.

I have not had a bad experience yet at the new ElMo's. The service is always great. And the food, so good. Birria tacos have become popular lately and I finally gave in and tried them and they are phenomenal. Tender, flavorful, slow cooked beef served in a warm consommè dipped tortilla. Top them off with fresh cilantro and diced onions and it is a warm, savory explosion of flavors and textures. Highly recommend.

I love this Mexican restaurant and the shrimp and orange rice dish was perfect! I would come again! Friendly staff and nice decor! The atmosphere is fabulous! 5/5 stars! My new favorite restaurant!

This place is awesome. I've been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in this area and this is by far the best. Aesthetically pleasing, almost unbelievably good service, food is something you've eaten before, but the best version of it. Definitely check this place out

We went here tonight, took 7 little ones u nder 6. The waiting staff was amazing!! Our food was awesome and the service was perfect. You guys were so patient with our little ones and we are so appreciative. Definitely will be back, thank you!!!

My guest and I have a great experience. The food came fast and was spot on.
We sat in a booth in the bar, And the gentleman that was working the bar, didn't miss a beat with us at the table.

The steak & chicken fajitas were well cooked. The cuts of meat were tender. The steak alambres was amazing! The rice & refried beans had a great flavor too. The servers were attentive

El molcajete is an amazing restaurant. My husband and I always choose to go here for lunch or dinner.

Im not local, just passing through. Food was absolutely fantastic, our server Tania (Tonya?) was delightful and we shared some things about motherhood and having "decisive" tiny humans who hate one thing yesterday, love it today. My kiddo had pink lemonade, hated it before, loved it last night. I had to leave early, boxed up my food and left in a rush but I wish I could have stayed longer just for her. The food was amazing, but rarely do you find someone who has sunshine in their soul. And she did. Girl, if you see this, or if your managers do, I hope you get some recognition, because you earned it. They're lucky to have you. I can rave about the food all day, it'd seriously sublime, but this review is really about her service. The atmosphere had a positive, bustling, busy energy but not spastic like restaurants can get. And it was a Friday night, lots of families. Happy people, eating delicious food, on a beautiful hot almost-summer day in Manchester TN. I will totally stop again next time I go through.

They are very accommodating. The food is excellent and plentiful. We have been going for years without any complaints. Would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family!

4/29/2023: Enjoyed the Tamales el Chilango with shredded chicken! Enough left for a second meal. Also the fried ice cream was excellent. Service was friendly & fast. Previous review: Ate dinner on a Sunday. I had a beef chimichanga dinner. It was served hot and was delicious. Service a bit slow, the place was full, so understandable. I will be back.
