Stone Fort Restaurant

Great location by stone Fort park, lots of parking, easy access. Perfect food after a hike in the park. The service was great, the food was great. It was nice and cool inside (summer review, probably warm in the winter). We did the meat and three option. Plenty of choices, all good. I added the coconut pie. It was perfect, tasted like summer. Apparently not made on site, but still really good.

Grits made to order. Bacon, jalapeños, and cheddar!!!

Stopped by for a quick brunch. Omelet was so good! Pancake was so big, great breakfast options and the meat and 3 looked awesome too. Will have to go back and check that out asap.

Home style place, not fancy but good food. Hamburgers are super, be sure ask your waitress to tell the cook you want it seasoned
The owner Craig Barnes is usually cooking but if he isn't, he is out visiting with his customers.

I found this little spot while passing through. It's a wonderful little place with good, old fashion comfort food. The server was very friendly and engaging, as well. My omelet was tasty with plenty of salty ham! I opted for biscuits/gravy over the toast and I'm sure it was the right call. I'll be back when I'm passing through again.

Loved the burger. Just wish it was a bit thinner so they were easier to eat.

Very small old Mom & Pop diner. Don't let the looks fool you.
Any diner that has a parking lot full of pickup trucks @ breakfast or noon time should never be passed up.

A friendly, home cooked meal for less than $7! Fast service. You can ONLY pay my cash or check - no credit card. Check out the menu. The beef sandwich with slaw and mashed potatoes was great. They had a lot of vegetable sides not listed here like beets and black eyed peas. Yum!

This is a very small place that you could easily miss but you would be sad. The people are friendly and relaxed. The food is fresh and delicious. I had the burger and it was one of the best I have ever had (and I have had a lot of burgers).

Very pleasant "down home" atmosphere. Good and friendly wait staff. All very welcoming. The bacon cheese burger was awesome! Just like mama used to make. Patted out to a good half inch thickness, thick and juicy! Tator tots were a favorite. Prices were fantastic too. We'll be back, again and again!

My wife and I enjoyed our breakfast here. The owner and staff are very nice. The restuarant itself very clean. Looking forward to going back when in town. If we are staying in Nashville or Chattanooga, this restuarant is worth the drive!

Eat here frequently, and it takes a little time to get your food, but it's always worth the wait. Awesome little place for lunch.

Very nice country diner. Simple menu, good home-cooking. Just like grandma would make! Place was clean despite having arrived just as the lunch rush was leaving. Very comfortable - not too hot nor too cold. Counter- style seating with ample tables seating four or more. Tables were comfortably spaced. No back to back or elbow to elbow here! Staff was friendly and efficient. Prices were great! Checkout at the cashier station. Cash or LOCAL checks only!

Great "hole in the wall" stop...worth the 5-6 mes off route....we asked a local who had been coming there for 30 years!
