My husband and I had a fantastic Christmas Eve dinner at Killens. I usually don’t order snapper even though it is my favorite fish (outside of being on the coast) because it never tastes fresh. I was pleasantly surprised at the snapper quality here, it was wonderful. My husband had the ribeye- he said it was cooked perfectly. For sides we got the jalapeño grits (YES, would get again) and the BBQ fries (meh, probably wouldn’t reorder). The dinning room is smaller than I thought it would be and the parking was valet but other than that, we had a great time and will be back.

Quaint little spot! Make reservations and definitely order the bacon tres leches bread pudding for dessert. Amazing!!! Top of the line steaks. Shane was our server and he is outstanding! What a perfect date night!

My group recently visited to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was a group of 13 and we had a reservation made. All the waiters took really good care of us! We had a very thorough explanation of a lot of the options on the menu, some unlisted house specials, and suggestions for those of us that have never visited. Personally, I had an old fashioned along with a medium rare dry aged ribeye and bone marrow. Other sides we ordered included the Gouda Mac and Cheese, the heirloom tomatoes and burrata, and pork belly. To end the night, I had ordered the carrot cake. The food was all phenomenal! I've had dry aged ribeye at Steak 48 for $20-30 more and I have to say that Killen's did it better.

Exceptional service, amazing food, and the ambiance was not loud at all. I cannot recommend this place enough for celebrating life's milestones.

This was delicious! The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. So many different options and a great appetizer selection. The service was great and I felt very cared for in my time dining here. Would highly recommend for a night on the town or a family dinner.

One of my new favorite restaurants. I have yet to taste something I don't like. The appetizers are varied and extensive. Definitely try the Grilled Octopus for something different to what you expect from a "Steakhouse". It is tender and smoky with citrus and light spice to compliment. I also tried the Dry Aged Pork Chop, served in a block and enough for 2 with a side. As for the sides, the Mac n Cheese, Au Gratin Potatoes are excellent. I have yet to try the Creamed Corn, but if it's as good as in Killen's BBQ, then that should be an amazing side as well. As for dessert, I have only tried the Bacon Tres Leches Bread Pudding. It's as good as it sounds. Waiters are very well-informed. Love this restaurant.

The reputation does not disappoint. Service is on point. The ambiance it's great. Excellent selection of wine and cocktails. The appetizers were delicious, cooked perfectly each with their own delicious flavor. The pork belly was a stand out about the appetizers. For the entrees, the dry aged ribeye was absolutely divine, tender and flavorful with that earthy undertone and the topping off the asparagus with the creamy sauce was the perfect compliment. Probably one of the best steaks I've ever had. The filet mignon was also stupendous with a nice texture and well seasons sear. The lobster was also quite tasty. All in all a terrific experience! Highly recommend for a Texas steakhouse experience.

Just as the bbq restaurant, with the same name, this place knows how to deliver. The stakes we cooked to perfectly to the temperature requested, the sides were very tasty too. Dessert options are exciting and worth trying as are much of the appetizers. they also have a solid selection of wines and craft beer to accompany your meal.

Wonderful atmosphere and staff ready to serve you and show they care about what they cater in the place.
I will definitely have to get the aged steak next time since my buddy could not stop boasting about it.I got the chicken fried ribeye was my go-to with very tasty steamed collard greens with bacon and of course decadent gravy on top of buttered mashed potatoes.

Our food was fabulous. The snapper was perfectly cooked and the accompaniments were delicious with it. The honey biscuits and heritage tomatoes with burrata were great. Small, cozy and quiet dining room with attentive and respectful service.

Service, food, drinks atmosphere is by far the best I have ever experienced in the Westchase area. This place has a steak flight that is second to none! I took some clients out to dinner tonight and this place was a CLOSER!

Ok, if you ever want to bring a vegetarian to a steakhouse, this is it. Although there wasn't any veggie entree on the menu, the chef cooked an amazing dish for me. The server made sure to check with the kitchen on this. I had the compressed watermelon salad for appetizer. Drinks were great too. We had some cocktails and beer. Needless to say, the friends loved every one of their steak dishes here. Its one of the best around. The desserts - carrot cake was absolutely delicious. Chocolate cake and bread pudding were good too. Brussel sprouts and butter corn side were some of our dishes. Parking is private lot or complimentary valet.

I really enjoyed our luncheon at killen's stq. The food was superb, service on point and prices very reasonably. Upon arriving, there's an option to valet and I think it's complimentary. There is not too much parking available so you may want to valet. Here are the items we had:

1. Beef short rib tamale-- this was very good. Fancy tamale:)

2. Hot shrimp- I actually really enjoyed this. I thought it would just be as usual shrimp with high price point but the flavors were very robust and unique. The shrimp is. Breaded and fried with this creamy sauce

3. Chicken fried ribeye- excellent! Large portion of steak with creamy Gravy highly recommend

4. Teresa major- also highly recommend. It's a mix of potatoes, eggs and beef shoulder. Very well composed. Many of my friends preferred this dish.

5. Short rib grilled cheese- pretty good.

6. Gulf snapper- this was ok. Light.

7. Mac and cheese-- side order must order

8. Onion rings- crispy and sooo good!

9. Brussels sprouts- these were just ok.

10. Carrot cake- cloyingly sweet... not my favorite, but good flavors for carrot cake

11. Monkey bread- this was reeealllly good. Perfect sweetness and very unique. There were these crispy flavorful things ontop. Come to find out, it's BACON. Perfect use of bacon. Highly recommend

I had a great time at killens stq. I highly recommend if you have ever been and want to try killens but unable to make the pricey pearland location. Give it a shot!

It has taken a long time for us to try this Ronnie Killen concept but it is wonderful. We started with the grilled octopus and the crabcakes stuffed with shrimp. The red pepper aioli on the crabcakes wasmperfect with a bit sweetness to compliment the crabcakes. The grilled octopus is braised in red wine and finished on the grill paired with hummus, pickled cauliflower, watermelon radish and grapes is perfect. For mains we went with a wet aged rib medium rare plus and a braised short rib and both were completed perfectly. If u can eat the short rib in one sitting u r a monster!

This place is outstanding! Exactly what you expect from a Killen's establishment. I highly recommend the pork belly appetizer. If you go in wanting fried chicken, order it early. It takes a while. We will be back!

Fun atmosphere, delicious food that comes in huge portions.
You can easily share all the courses.
I enjoed the Pork belly appetizer, the short rib main, and both the mac 'n' cheese with short ribs and carrots sides.
The bread pudding with bacon (!) was the perfect finish proving the point that there is a separate stomach for desert!

Good service. Margaritas are ok and there is a good selection of craft beer.

Killen's STQ has become one of my favorite places to eat steak and high end barbecue. I enjoy the entire concept of the restaurant as well as the design. The service was great, and the food exceeded my expectations. The restaurant is not very big, and when busy, it can get pretty loud. The quality of the food was fantastic , and I recommend the following plates(Pictures):

1)Pecan Smoked Pork Belly

2)Smoked Bone Marrow & Tuna Tartare - My Favorite!

3)Post Oak Smoked Salt & Pepper Beef Short Rib - The meat falls off the bone. Make sure you let your waiter know that you want this entree so that they do not run out.

4)Bacon Tres Leches - This is a MUST!

If you are thinking about coming to this restaurant DONT! There is nothing to think about, make your reservation and enjoy the delicious food!

Took my bff for her birthday and this place blew us out of the water. Not only is service stellar but food is OMG did I die and go to heaven for foodies. Let's just say our spread was a proper Chef's night out. Crispy fried chicken made to perfection, the Au Gratin Potatoes had cheese for days! The beef shortrib is enough to feed a soccer team, well let's just say we both had leftovers to savor on the next day. Now, let's talk about that Bacon Tres Leches. You'll want to make sure to leave room - because bacon anything is amazing of course. Overall, an amazing experience, definitely pricey but you get what you pay for and this was worth every penny.

Had the Wagyu Beef Ribeye, pork chop, and short rib special. It was $200 - said to feed 4 people but 4 men were not able to finish it all! We also ordered 2 appetizers and 9 sides which probably helped us get full...

All in all, the food was delicious. I definitely recommend the special because of the price and value.
