Beyond awesome! I grew up in Greene County and ate here most Saturday mornings prior to going into work. I married and moved about 45 mins away. I still come back to visit and eat here. Best breakfast you will put in your mouth!!

First time we’ve been here and goodness it was AMAZING! Kim our server was on point, food was down home yumminess!! And the atmosphere is small town delight! Make time to stop by …….. you will not be disappointed!

Seriously the nicest people you will ever meet. I’m from Maryland and they HANDS DOWN have the best scrambled eggs I have ever had! My husband and I really enjoyed the homey feel as well. I can’t explain it but it was so comforting and welcoming. I can’t say enough good things about it and the amazing people that work there. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

Great for a country diner vibe. The food was fresh and hot. The pancakes were my favorite. My only issue was I did not like the coffee, but everything else was great.

My wife and I tried this place the other day while we was antiquing downtown. The burger was prepared perfectly done and juicy, we tried the biscuit and gravy it was fantastic and the grilled honey bun was the perfect the desert. We'll be back next time we're in town. AAA+

Tipton's was a great find. This is a family run cafe that has been hiding in plain sight for years. The menu was short, but the food was great. Try the bacon cheeseburger, the bacon was thick and savory on a juicy paddy. Don't just go for the food though. Everyone there talked to me like I was local.

I was invited to this place today as I was doing a job in Greenville. The staff here are absolutely wonderful!! They make you feel right at home. The biscuits and gravy are fabulous! The world would be such a better place if staff at every restaurant treated customers this way.

Tipton's is a classic diner and is open during street reconstruction. I sat at the counter and enjoyed watching the cook prepare food and the listening to the staff interact with locals. It's obvious there is lots of love in this small community!
I ordered the cheese burger with tomato, lettuce and mayonnaise, and it was delicious! You also need to try their hash browns with onions and cheese-very tasty!!! They start with a basic frozen hash brown patty, then top it with a slice of American cheese and freshly grilled onions. Amazing!

What an absolute find! The service was lovely, the food was delicious, and it was a true gift to share stories while we ate. If you happen to find yourself nearby, I highly recommend you stop in and grab a bite

Stopped in for brunch, had the 2,2,2 breakfast, and it was great as always. Homemade just like mom used to make!!

After 15 minutes we waved down a waitress to order. 65 minutes total to get our food. I think they were having a bad help day. This is not typical.
In the end, they made it right at checkout.
Greatly expanded seating capacity but still the same cooking capacity.
I liked it better when it was small.

Had the BEST breakfast experience at Tipton’s! Delicious food and an amazing staff to boot. Ask Ray for the “secret menu” Reese’s pancakes!

Great southern cooking and hospitality

Small mom and pop style place downtown. Service is friendly. Food didn't come out all together but there were 6 of us and it was tasty. The pancakes and the bacon were really good. It is CASH ONLY.
