Always worth the trip. Old-time soda fountain restaurant. Sit at the counter or at a table. Service is great. Waitstaff is wonderful- so pleasant and attentive. The fountain Coke is delicious. Other fountain drinks available. We always get a burger and fries ( the slugburger is also tasty). The burger was cooked perfectly and they will put anything you want on it. The crinkle cut fries are crispy outside and fluffy soft inside. You can top your meal off with Blue Bell ice cream or a milkshake.

I had a patty melt with onion rings. When the patty melt came to the table, the smell gave me a little swell of emotion. It fired some neurons that put me back in the comfort of my childhood (in the 60's) - kind of like catching a whiff of perfume from a long lost amor. The rye bread was grilled but not greasy, with a nice crunch. (It comes on rye. I suggest you stick with that.) The meat patty was generous, and the white cheese (cheddar? American?) was perfectly melted. There were chopped onions in the melted cheese. It was a nice addition. The sandwich came out HOT and was still very warm on my last bite. There is nothing I would change about the patty melt. It was awesome. The place has a nostalgic, historic feel to it. It's nice to go to a place, that doesn't feel like it was manufactured to look like something it isn't. The staff was very friendly, and very accommodating. I thoroughly enjoyed the place and the food.

Borroum's is a throwback to the old school drugstore soda shops of yesteryear. The atmosphere is authentic, the waitresses are nice, the food is good & of course, they make great milkshakes. If you ever find yourself in Corinth, Mississippi this place is a definite must stop for lunch.

What a great stop on our Sisters’ Trip! I had a delicious strawberry soda and a great patty melt with tots. We also tried a Slugburger. Fun atmosphere and great service!

This is one of those hidden gems that everyone should experience. The staff was wonderful, taking time to explain menus items that were unfamiliar to me. The food was delicious and the shake I had was great. Prices were lower than expected which is a plus for customers.

As part of our recent road trip to visit some southern states, we were fortunate enough to pick Cornith, MS. for a stopping off point to eat lunch and see a small town. We stopped in the Town municipal building and stopped in the Tax Office, we were greeted with a wonderful can I help y'all. We let them know we were traveling and stopped here and was wondering if they could recommend a place to eat. Well that is all we had to say, eat..... Each of the staff had their own favorites and were so forthcoming with information on all our possibilities. After several minuets of talking about food, general concensus was you can't go wrong anywhere we decided to stop. Borrum's Drug Store was talked about and what grabbed my attention was the mention of the "slug burger", interesting I thought, never had a slug burger, but just as enticing was mention of Martha's and the soul food and great home cooking there, along with mention it was Thursday, that meany chocolate cake day. So we ended up going to eat lunch at Borrum's. WOW when we stepped in the door, we stepped back in time. What can I say about a place that history has this as the oldest Pharmacy in MS. that alone is worth the visit, but wait it gets better, now we are starring at the days lunch special written on a chalk board. Cornbread salad jumped out at me, never had that , let alone never heard of that before. So we are seated at a booth, old school plastic viynl seating with fomica top table (great stuff). Imagine a soda fountain, table seating and booths on the floor, oh and by the way the Pharmacy portion of this incredibly small space where everyone knows everyone (except for us). People leaning over from table to table saying see you tomorrow and talking about everday life. anyways I could gomon but next to our booth there were two plastic chairs, those were for anyone waiting to pick up a prescriptio or waiting to speak with the Pharmacist. the kitchen was about 6' x 6' with two cooks serving up wonderful home cooked food. So back to the slug burger of which I ordered along with the cornberead salad, this interesting burger made of a mix of soy, onions and some pork smashed into a thin patty. The salad is as it sounds a tossed salad that sits on top of a piece of cornbread. Both were first times for me so , interesting , but good. I would call the slug burger a southern slider. the waitress was so friendly and very helpful in telling us interesting points of interest and facts about this truly authentic piece of American history. an absolutely must see.....They even mentioned it was chocolate cake day at Martha's... how about that.

A hidden gem with history over 160 years. The oldest drugstore in America still operated by the same family.

Came at the end of the lunch hour and was placed was super busy with diners and those just getting ice cream. Luckily there was an open table but it took awhile for order to be taken.

Once ordered, food came out quick and it was delicious. The portion size was perfect. Left enough room for dessert. Ordered a peanut butter sundae with vanilla ice cream. All I can say is wow wow wow!

Highly recommend this place for lunch if you are in town and love American historical places.

Unique!! Food is fantastic, service is amazing for them to be such a very busy place. Interesting historical items on display, War of Northern Aggression artifacts, arrowheads, etc. all found locally.

Cool fact about this restaurant is that it has a pharmacy in the back which is the oldest pharmacy in Mississippi! Also the food here is very good I recommend the sandwiches. The restaurant is sort of like a 50s diner. My favorite thing about this place is their milkshakes, some of the best I’ve ever had!

A true Southern classic. Historical and educational. Fine soda fountain. Excellent slug burgers and milk shakes. A must if you visit Corinth. Come on Thursday night from 7 to 9 and enjoy bluegrass and folk music across the street at Pickin on the Square. Excellent music.

Visiting from California and my uncle heard of this place, we drove all the way from Morris Chapel to get Milkshakes...best decision ever. So good for a warm day. Love it. Hope when me and my wife move to Tennessee, we can stop here more often.

Most people come here for the experience. Borroum's is one of the old operating drug stores in the state. It also has a traditional soda fountain. The food is decent but the atmosphere is legendary. If you are driving through you should visit.
