I came from a family that (for the right reasons) never completely trusted auto repair shops. At my age of 70 and single, I feel much more vulnerable.
The men at Fifth Gear took care of my auto concerns and were not happy until they knew it was done right. They supplied me with a loaner, which I was pleasantly surprised to know they had. The manager knows how to pick the right ones to hire.
Eloquent, people skills and knowledge. They have it all. I'd absolutely recommend this place.
And least I not forget - their waiting room is a private little Heaven!

I didn't want to deal with the big dealerships again. So did a search & glad I found 5th gear. Reached out and spoke with Alex. Explained my situation. I liked what he told me. Was very helpful & knowledgeable. Dropped our Audi A5 the next morning and had it back before closing. No surprises went down just like Alex said it would. Keep up the good work!

I shopped around for prices to get the timing chain replaced on my 2014 Mercedes C250 sport. Jake M was very helpful over the phone. He explained the cost, parts, and timeline very clearly. When I brought the car in he was very easy to work with. My car is running like new. Thanks.

I've been going here for 3 years now after a few bad experiences with my prior repair shop. I have found Alex and Brandon as my service advisors to be very friendly and accommodating in scheduling appointments. When major repairs are needed, they will take me to the floor to show me the issue or show me pictures of the car. I would not hesitate to recommend this auto maintenance and repair shop to all of my friends and family.

I want to thank the crew at Fifth Gear in Lewisville. My 16-year-old was in a panic. The truck he had worked so hard to save up for and buy wasn't running correctly. Tim Edwards put his truck up in the air so they could check it out. They invited him back to take a look. Tim and Jake explained what was going on with his truck and how they could help him. My brakes went out on a Friday and fifth gear automotive had me back on the road by Monday afternoon. What I love about bringing my vehicle to this establishment is that they do a full inspection/assessment over your car before they even get to the issue at hand. That lets me know that not only is my issue being resolved, but they’re finding other issues that I may not know about. As a single parent my car and its safety means everything to me and I feel the team shares the same value as me. I’m also grateful that they’re professionally trained and certified to work on Audi’s. This saves me time and $$ driving all the way across town to drop my car off at an Audi dealership where it could take 2 to 3 days to get my car back. I’ve never been to an automotive shop that was more courteous and professional than Fifth Gear. They actually brought me into the shop and showed me underneath my vehicle what they saw, and explained it in terms any layman could understand. Alex Sigler was my point man (service advisor), and he kept me updated every step of the way, and answered every concern I had. They even gave me a loaner vehicle so I wasn’t inconvenienced in the least while my car was getting worked on. They wouldn’t let me pick up my car until they felt it was perfect. That’s pretty much unheard of in this industry. I would recommend these guys to anyone, and I will definitely be using Fifth Gear for my vehicle repairs in the future.

I needed my are to be aligned. Unfortunately Mini Countrymen back tires are not adjustable. Ashton called me, said he did some shopping around and was able to get 4 arms at a discounted price. He put them on, changed my oil and the car has never driven better. The interior sound is much better as the car is drive smoother on the wheels due to the alignment. More importantly, Ashton kept me up to date on the progress and delivered the car when he said he would.

Jake and everyone at this shop provided the best service! He walked me through everything that is going on with my car, helped me understand the necessary repairs needed now, and what would be best to do in the future - with no pressure. The pics provided during the inspection were helpful for me to understand more about what the issues are. I highly recommend this shop and would rate them higher if I could!

Ashton consistently goes above and beyond to ensure good customer service. He takes time to communicate what items are of importance and why. Any time there has been a concern, question or conflict on our end he is quick with resolution.

Fifth gear recently helped with my 2008 F250 diesel pickup truck. It had a malfunctioning EGR valve that had caused the check engine light to come on. They provided excellent service, addressed the issue promptly, took time to explain the problem, and followed up after the fact. We live 3 hours away, but will definitely use them again if we ever have vehicle problems in the DFW area again.

Fifth Gear is awesome. They go out of there way to find and fix your car. Service was fast and friendly. I will be telling friends about them. It’s been a long time since I have been able to get service like they gave me.

I was referred here and had the pleasure of working with Alex S. He told me what he thought was the problem within seconds, ended up being right, and I was in and out of there within 10 minutes. Issues with your car can be such a pain but he made the situation easy and seamless, I will definitely be returning!

The Fifth Gear team did a great, and affordable job rebuilding the AC in my 18 year old Avalanche back in 2021. I needed a freon recharge this month with dye, which they also did at a very affordable price. I don't think we expected to bleed out this early, but they are backing their repair. I'm very satisfied.

I visited Nate at the Lewisville location to seek assistance for a simple - yet stubborn - sun visor repair for my Porsche 911 Carrera. He was super helpful. He dropped what he was doing and fixed my visor which prevented me from having to spend $200+ to get a completely new visor. Every time I have had my Porsche or other cars serviced at Fifth Gear, they have been professional, timely, and accurate with their fees. So glad to have them as a trusted option for future biz!

Fifth gear always do quality work. Very helpful and sends you a full report of findings and will only do the work you approve. The young men in valet are friendly as well. Great overall experience!

Needed wheel alignment on my Mercedes. They got me in the next day, were done in an hour, washed my car and were 1/3rd of the cost the dealership quoted me. Highly recommend!
