Del Vista Local Bar And Grill

We went to Del Vista on a friend's recommendation and it did not disappoint!! The food and service were excellent and the menu was extensive. If you like pork chops or lasagna you will be delighted! The portions were a good size and we were surprised by complimentary brownies a la mode for our birthday celebration. Edwin did an excellent job and we always had full water glasses and extra bread.
We look forward to trying new dishes very soon!

Absolute 10/10 experience. Literally the best Italian food I've ever had. I got the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and wish I could eat that every single day. Definitely worth the hour drive to get there. The outdoor seating area was so cute too with flowers and plants all around. Love this place!!!

Del Vista is one of my favorite restaurants in Houston!

My order:

Apps: meatballs and mussels
Salad: Caesar (must have)
Dinner: The Big Fat Chicken Breast with sautéd spinach - this chicken breast is the biggest thing I have ever seen. (Also a must have dish)

I would give this place a 100 stars if I could.

Chef Greg Gordon's food is just amazing. It's truly elevated comfort food and then some. Fantastic menu, delicious daily specials and a killer wine list at retail pricing.

Not your typical bar food! The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable on the menu / daily deals, the margaritas were strong, but still had great flavor that masked the booze. Reasonably priced for portions and quality. Will be returning soon to try more!

We had the calamari, some drinks and chicken Alfredo / chicken mushroom pastas. :)

IIRC the owner of this place was also the owner of La Vista. It seems the owner is trying to continue and bring some of the La Vista foods here too. So if you were a fan of La Vista you will probably be a fan of Del Vista.

Good selection of beer and wine is available. We had the Prisoner wine and it was priced cheaper than we had seen it at other restaurants. I had the Lasagna made with brisket. I told myself “I will only eat half”.. but in the end I ate it all! Our table also ordered the salmon on polenta which was fabulous and the trout special with roasted corn and mashed potatoes. It all tasted fabulous.

For dessert we shared the banana pudding and it was perfect for sharing. Here is to hoping Del Vista is around for a very long time!!!

The food presentation is very eye pleasing, smiles 😃 😊 and tastes as good as it looks...

Prices are very reasonable, parking is competitive, ample handicapped ♿ parking spaces with wheelchair ramps to restaurant doors...

Returned once again, 2/22/2023, both of us ate at the bar 🍸, Wedge Salad and Margherita Pizza 🍕...ohhhhhh so delicious 😋

My wife and I came by here last night to see what everyone has been talking about. Food was absolutely delicious and the space is great. We both felt very safe dinging out and the food and drinks we're excellent. I definitely recommend and will be back!

Phenomenal tenderloin. One of the best I've had.

I want to give these folks the credit they deserve. My wifey and I had reservations but they weren't ready for use. We had to wait for a while but the manager or assistant manager checked in us often and even offered us drinks on the house while we wait. Now to talk about the food. The lasagna was incredible. And the brownie was awesome. The service was great. That was my first time going and I will be back.

Great hangout place with friends. Staff is super nice. Pizzas are awesome. Seafood is good. Could've given more seafood than grits :)

We had a wonderful experience at Del Vista. We were celebrating a birthday and it was delightful. Our waiter, Evan, was so good, attentive but not hovering. The support staff are great, water and tea were replenished before you asked and you never had to look around for help.

The food was fantastic. The birthday boy had the tenderloin with apricot-cherry sauce. The meat was a perfect medium-rare and he loved the sauce. Daughter and I shared the Lamb Rack and I must say that it was the best I have ever had. I would have been happy just with the meat but the sauce and accompaniments made the dish. I loved how you got a variety of flavors in every mouthful. Others in our party had the Carciofo Y Pollo pizza and Cheese Ravioli. Ravioli boy gobbled it down in about 2 minutes.
Everyone was happy.

With this quality food and the great staff we will definitely be back.

Always a delicious lunch/dinner. Great ambiance, service, food, drinks, and spectacular presentation. One of my favorite spots, with an eclectic menu where I’ve yet to try anything I didn’t thoroughly enjoy.

We love this place . The service is excellent.
The off the menu ceviche is to die for and so are the bruschettas. For main, the pork chop is our favorite.
Great atmosphere inside for later nights, the patio is awesome for earlier nights in the summer.
