Oh, if we just had a 10 point scale! Fabulous food, all fresh made! The owner was so sweet and personable. Anyway, great, fluffy pancakes. Perfectly cooked fried eggs with crispy edges (as requested). Great fried potatoes. My sister's Monte Cristo sandwich was a huge hit, as was the side strawberry salad with homemade vinaigrette dressing. And you must try the cucumber lemonade for a refreshing treat. All food was filling and we can't wait to return. Make the trip, folks. It's definitely worth it. UPDATE: went to Gigi's for lunch today. Had fabulous meatloaf, just like Mom used to make! Also, huge, meaty onion rings. My friend had the Philly steak sandwich and loved it. We were too full for dessert. 😢 Can't wait to return.

Having lived across 107 from Gigi's since they opened, I regret not coming sooner. The food is SO GOOD! I had the chicken fried steak, my wife the smothered chicken breast, and our daughter had scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, and pancakes. My sides consisted of mashed potatoes, fresh green beans, corn, and 2 slices of freshly made buttered bread. My wife got similar sides with big 'ol onion rings. I devoured my plate. It was just like being at home, just so, so damn good. I tried bits of the family's plates, and they were just as good. Dessert was next, and oh my, chocolate cake ala mode. I was in heaven! Needless to say, Gigi's is now at the top of my list at places I recommend to eat. It's a must of you are in the area. We will be returning very soon, and we will be going there often.

Everything I've ever ordered here is prepared from scratch, even down to the syrup on the pancakes and the biscuits – which are absolutely amazing, by the way! The pricing is reasonable, especially considering the exceptional quality of the dishes. It's simply delicious!

Am I in Edcouch or the Hill country? What a little jewel this restaurant is. The home made bread is spectacular. The staff are very proud of their food and rightly so. Quaint atmosphere and relaxing. Try the Monte Cristo sandwich. Wow!!! Great place but a bit pricey. It is true to the fact that you get what you pay for. Highly recommend.

To celebrate my husbands birthday we went to our favorite restaurant Gigi's; the Food and atmosphere has never been less than outstanding, and after years of coming to eat a Gigi's the owners make us feel like family. The ability to order dinner and breakfast foods plus the quality and wonderful taste of the food keeps my family coming back year after year. thank you so much for providing a nice dining experience in our rural area

Don't be put off by the "Ladies who lunch" appearance. Gigi's serves a variety of selections, from strawberry salad to hearty spaghetti marinara. The only thing you won't find is an empty stomach, because everyone goes home well-fed. Rich desserts and home-made breads round out the choices. They also have breakfast, with mimosas if you want to indulge. Gigi is the chef, and she keeps a close watch on her customers. Drinks are refilled expeditiously and always with a smile.

AMAZING! The experience alone was so friendly. All workers were friendly and so attentive to all guests. Inside is very nice and decorative and makes you feel at home. Food was perfect and fairly priced. A must try if you are wanting an amazing experience!

We had a great Sunday lunch. Everything was tasty and the owners were very friendly and hospitable. Even our toddler loved the food! We’ll be back.

As soon as you get there the atmosphere is cozy. The people there are so friendly. And we were in a big group and they still kept their cool. They had a lot of options made from scratch and the food was delicious. It was pricey but in my opinion it was well worth it. The outside seating was very nice,shady and fresh.

Cute & comfortable atmosphere. Excellent service. Ordered the Meatloaf with 2 sides, mashed potatoes & broccoli cheese casserole & it's served with homemade bread. It was fantastic, classic comfort food.

My dinner Guest ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich, with a half order of fries and a half order of onion rings, delicious!

For dessert, we had the waffle topped with fresh strawberry and cream, served with homemade syrup. Hands down the best waffle I've ever had.

Definitely our new favorite restaurant.

American classics & simply delicious food!.

Tucked away off 107 in Edcouch, Texas is a little gem of a country resturant called Gigi's. In my opinion it rivals anything in the Texas Hill Country and well worth the visit. Great friendly staff, very clean, and nice atmosphere.

We happen to find this small cute restaurant called Gigi’s, & decided to stop bye. Gigi’s is an amazing restaurant , the food was delicious. The desserts were homemade cookies, banana bread, cinnamon bread , white loaf of bread and cakes are delicious. I had the best cucumber Mamosa and I truly enjoyed my chicken chipotle sandwich with a salad fresh strawberries and a homemade vinaigrette.
The customer service was excellent the ambience was enjoyable, The owner Mari was attentive, friendly and funny.
I am definitely going back once a week. Talk about homemade this is the place to go if you truly want to have a good hard homemade meal.

I highly recommend. The service was great, atmosphere was relaxing, and I enjoyed one of the best lattes I’ve tasted. The food was delicious. It was savory, fresh, and made from scratch. My picky eater autistic son loved the french toast. They didn’t require syrup and that says a lot. I don’t write reviews but this cute cafe deserves all the praise.

I normally don’t leave reviews but today I have to! We visited Gigi’s for the first time and everything about our experience exceeded our expectations! We were a party of 8 and everyone in our party were beyond impressed by the food and service. The food was absolutely delicious made from scratch which is truly hard to come by here in the RGV. We felt like family because the staff was so attentive, welcoming and friendly this place is truly a hidden treasure and so worth the 45-50 minute drive from Alton, we will definitely be visiting again soon!

Our first time...just so delicious!! The Tres Leches French Toast is amazing! I personally had the Monte Cristo which is the best Monte Cristo I have tried. Service is excellent. The decor is adorable 😍

They never disappoint!! The service is great and the food is absolutely DELICIOUS 😋 The Tres Leches French toast is a must. The waffles are light and fluffy, as are the pancakes. The biscuits are big and not dense at all ( the picture is a biscuit that has been cut in half 😳)

Absolutely loved it! Food is delicious and made from scratch. Breakfast served all day and they serve mimosas. Perfect for a girl's brunch. Absolutely recommend it. Hubby and I loved it.

This is a family owned business. Everything is delicious & homemade. And the place is adorable. Everyone in our group was blown away and talking about coming back as soon as possible!
