Hill Country Herb Garden Restaurant and Spa

The cottages are well furnished and the shower/bathroom was spacious. All very modern. The bartender is a real gem and the restaurant was awesome. They even ran out and picked up some flowers for my wife's birthday.

The Herb Garden is a great change of pace from the typical hotel experience. It offers a very personalized experience and unique cottage accommodations. The daily breakfast basket was a nice surprise. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but the food, service and setting are great. Our daughter had her wedding reception here and the service and setting was perfect. My wife and I will definitely stay here again!

Four of us had massages today and were very impressed by the spa. Very beautiful and tranquil. Beautiful interior and relaxation room. We used the infrared sauna as well. We enjoyed charcuterie and mimosas in the relaxation room after our massage which was lovely. I highly recommend this spa!

We went to Fredericksburg for a Sat wedding. These cottages are adorable. Small yet comfy. Bed and linens were very plush. Overhead fan, bedside lights, desk area all well thought out. Coffee bar and mini fridge were nice. Picnic basket with breakfast with yogurt, fruit, over night oats and fresh pastries. Communications with management was excellent. We arrived late and had a keyless entry upon arrival. Front porch has comfortable seats and a porch swing. We ate at the properties restaurant and it was fabulous. Only a few steps away. We stayed in Cabin #3 and will definitely be back.

Fabulous Sunday Home Cottage. Loved the picnic basket breakfast. Slept so well in the bed vs a hotel. No more Hampton Inn when visiting Frederickburg- we are total fans.
Magnolia Gift Shop has wonderful items for purchase.

This is an awesome place to stay. I loved everything about it. Will definitely stay here again. Also had a rehearsal dinner here for my granddaughters wedding during my stay. The food was phenomenal. You could cut the meat with a fork. Staff was excellent for the entire property.

Everyone at this property was wonderful. Service was great. The cottages are lovely. We used the porch every day. The breakfast basket at the door in the morning is a nice touch. We also used the spa....ahhhhhh! We have eaten at the restaurant several times and this time for lunch was also wonderful. You cannot go wrong on this property. It's absolutely delightful.

Lovely relaxing stay in our own cottage. The place was nicely decorated inside and the grounds were serene.
Breakfast to your door was great as we sat on our porch to enjoy it each morning.

This is our first time trying the restaurant, went for brunch on Sunday. I had one of the best avocado toasts ever with a generous amount of avocado and goat cheese. The grilled cheese was made with pimento cheese and was also delicious. Try the herbed potatoes as well. It’s a beautiful place and the service was great.

We had a bridal brunch at the Herb Garden Restaurant and it was absolutely fabulous! The waitstaff was friendly & helpful, the ambiance was perfect, and the food was delicious! ❤ And the Three Wishes Coffee Martini was delightful! Our party of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our meals & drinks! 🌺

We have been to Fredericksburg so many times over the years, but we recently discovered this place. It was absolutely stunning. The grounds are so beautiful. Herbs, plants, and flowers surround every room, the restaurant, and garden. The rooms are the perfect size. It smelled absolutely amazing in the room every time we walked in. We actually bought some of the all natural room sprays they make there to take back home from the gift shop. They have a restaurant walking distance from every room. The food, service, and drinks were great. So many beautiful spots to sit and enjoy your cocktail or a glass of wine. There's also a spa on the grounds, which unfortunately we didn't use on our trip, but definitely will next time. Complimentary breakfast delivered to your door each morning. Very cute patio on each home with a swing and seats. It's not far from main street. It's very quiet also, so no need to worry about street traffic or other people. We cannot wait for our next stay!

We absolutely adored this place. About a mile from Main Street (totally walkable), clean, comfortable, and just made for a wonderful weekend away. And the spa was incredible!!!!!

Such a BEAUTIFUL property!! Enjoyed every detail of this property! The common areas of swings, all the beautiful foliage of the walk ways, the cottages are adorable and smell just like a spa! Super comfy beds too!! Great location; everything you need is just a 2-3 minute car ride away. Dine at SAGE while you visit - it was our favorite meal of the trip!

We ate here for breakfast and it blew us away! Everything was so fresh and yummy. Definitely worth visiting. I recommend the stuffed French toast.

We had brunch at the restaurant and the food was absolutely deliciou! The service was fast and attentive and the atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxing and inviting.

The body scrub is vastly underrated! 10/10 my skin has never felt so smooth. Double down on a caring attentive staff and you’re in for a treat!

My husband and I stayed here on Easter weekend, and had a wonderful time. The rooms were very cute and cozy and had everything we needed. We found some great items from the gift shop, and explored the garden in the evenings. Overall a wonderful place to stay!

My food was delicious. I got the huevos rancheros. Coffee was good too. Service was well.
