Dr. Love is awesome. He operated on me in office. He and his staff were great, efficient, kind, professional.

Dr Love has performed multiple procedures for my wife and me over the past years, all of them flawlessly. We are fortunate to have such a gifted surgeon serving our town.

Had hernia surgery, expected there was 1 hernia, turns out had Swiss cheese hernia(s). I believe he did a good job on the surgery, however I believe he did not manage my pain. I was given 10 days worth of a combination of hydrocodone and Tylenol, I believe the lowest dosage. When I went to followup complaining of continued pain he concurred it was and would be painful for awhile, but that there were restrictions and/or guidelines for him and pharmacies that would not allow either a refill or simply the right quantity to begin with. I researched CDC after I left and found this article from CDC, changing prior guidelines as patients were not getting the required relief. It is now left to the Doctors and patients to decide on pain relief. Either the Doctor didn’t want to prescribe the necessary amount or he’s not current on CDC guidelines. For this reason I will choose a different surgeon if I need one.

Dr. Performed my surgery excellent. He acted quickly and with excellence. His after care , lack of compassion, follow up, and his office especially’s lack of concern or ability to see me after during a complication almost cost me my life. I had a common complications called a small bowel blockage which doctor and his office ignored. I ended up in SA hospital for 11 days and needed another surgeon to treat this.

He implanted 2 biozorbs in me 2 years ago without fully explaining what they were. They created tremendous pain and still cause me pain. Would not recommend him to anyone.
