We had Serge come check the very small leak reported by an inspector. He tightened a plastic nut and did not want to charge for such a small job nor there was a charge for coming out. This is the best plumbing company I have seen. He gave me an option to change out a part since the stopper wasn't working. For his no pressure option, I had him fix the issue and was glad to pay the reasonable charge for work done.

Great Service!! Plumber came right away after contacting the company the night before. Serge was phenomenal and helped us by offering many options, thoroughly educating us on what went wrong and how to prevent it and was ethical in his pricing as well. I always have great luck with this company!

These plumbers are excellent- straight forward discussion of the issue and recommended solutions with realistic risk/benefit discussion. We worked with Clarke Kent for our inspection for our new home and required repairs and plan to continue for any plumbing needs in the future.

Had an excellent experience with CK Plumbing! Called about an issue and they were able to send out a tech same day. Richard was excellent; diagnosed and fixed the plumbing issue within an hour. Cleaned up after the job and wore shoe covers while in the house. The rate was slightly steep (at the top of the average rate for the service in the industry) but the quick turn around time and great work makes it worth it. Thanks to CKP and Richard!

My experience with Clarke Kent Plumbing has been excellent.

Some years ago, I had a very stubborn drain that defied the efforts of several plumbers. "Robert," a veteran from Clarke Kent assured me "I'm very good at this," and true to his word he had the drain cleared in 10-15 minutes. I decided Clarke Kent would be my plumber going forward.

Earlier this year, I found that my kitchen sink drain line was blocked or broken so I called Clarke Kent. After several sessions of assessing the problem, we ended up replacing the entire set of lines from my house to the street (The house is 80 years old - the lines were either brittle clay or "Orangeburg." The pipes had exceeded their useful life by several decades).

Clarke Kent was not only competent but they were flexible and reasonable with respect to what, for me, was a major project. The team that did the actual excavation to allow the lines to be installed worked very hard and completed the work in two days.

I also had an unusual situation in which my washing machine set in the back of the house needed a solution to drain to the rest of the system. Over the years I'd received proposals from several plumbers about cutting through the slab or tunneling under the house and similar ideas to make the connection. Clarke Kent installed a pump. The cost to me for this project was about a third of what others had proposed.

I particularly appreciated the relationship I was able to develop with "Shane" who was the supervisor for my projects. He kept me informed, proposed alternatives as we learned more about my needs, and quoted what I considered to be nontrivial but reasonable prices for the work. I spent a total of approximately $10,000 for all the work they did this year. I received good value for the money.

I like that the company is locally owned and that they are well-established in Austin. I have recommended them to other people and will continue to do so.

We are first time homeowners who recently dealt with a flood late at night. They were able to get someone (Travis) out here 9am the next morning to help us fix the problem (faulty fill valve + pipe clog). Travis was so helpful, reliable through the process. Great guy, even gave us some tips on pipe maintenance knowing that we were first time homeowners. Really appreciated how quickly they came and were able to help us resolve the issue. Travis C. is amazing. He came out on a Sunday (when no one else would) and he is very professional and thorough. He is a great communicator too, he explained everything before he did it. He fixed our pretty serious problem in less than an hour. I'll be calling him and Clarke Kent next time I need help. They are really, really great.

I highly recommend John Garlow and Clarke Kent Plumbing! I had an unusual issue: a prior contractor had allowed concrete to be poured in my toilet drain pipe and solidify. As a result, the pipe was partially blocked and we had serious issues with clogging in that toilet. Two prior plumbers came out and threw their hands in the air, telling me the only solution was to chip away the foundation around that pipe and replace it. When John arrived, he was on time, professional and told me that he thought he could resolve the issue without costly demolition and replacement. It was not an easy task, but John never gave up and, ultimately, fully resolved my issue without destroying my flooring and foundation. If you have a plumbing issue, these are the guys to call. Great business! Was able to set up a next-day appointment with a one-hour time window. Received text confirmation of appointment and also a text when the Tech was on his way.

Jeremy was very friendly and diagnosed the issue on my water heater. He also gave me a lot of valuable info on the machine, which was super helpful. Jeremy let me know about a parts recall from the manufacturer, as well, that I was otherwise unaware of.

Price was reasonable and much cheaper than if I had to replace my whole machine (which is what the manufacturer recommended).

Will use Clarke Kent moving forward, for sure!

Amazing service! Filled an issue with the disposal and they were at our house within an hour. Very nice people who fixed the issue within 15 minutes. Highly recommend!

We’ve called them out at least five times for different things and have always been completely satisfied. Their plumbers are always courteous and professional, especially Gabriel and Serge! My only complaint is the wide appointment window but I assume that just comes with the territory. Would absolutely recommend this company.

Juan Martinez was great! He meets the quality and standards I have come to expect from Clarke Kent plumbing. Have used them for years on large and small jobs. In fact I used them twice this week at two different properties. Call them, you will not be disappointed.

Juan was my professional yesterday. Arrived with a great attitude and a very friendly demeanor. We’ve had a very persistent clog in our kitchen sink; he quickly assessed the situation and got to work all while keeping great conversation and an inviting presence. After the clog was dealt with he even fixed a leak and readjust the pipes (that i had messed up trying to unclog myself). To top it all off he gave me some much appreciated advice about sink maintenance so that I can avoid future issues. Great service, great worker. Much appreciated.

I've called Clarke Kent twice now for plumbing issues in our house and Juan Martinez helped us both times. Juan is professional, knowledgeable, and patient. He takes the time to help you understand what's wrong and is patient enough to answer the millions of questions that my warranty provider needed for reimbursement. Would definitely recommend having Juan help you with your plumbing needs!

Very professional and prompt service. Travis was an excellent plumber and I will be requesting him by name if we ever have plumbing issues again. We had a kitchen sink and separately a bathtub that were both blocked up and refusing to drain. Travis came out to and was able to diagnose the problem and fix it almost immediately. He was very respectful to us and tried everything he could to fix our problems without having to over charge us. A well earned 5/5 stars I would definitely recommend Travis and the rest of the Clarke Kent Plumbing crew to anyone that is in need of plumbing services.

Professional and excellent service from Juan Martinez. Juan came out on extremely short notice after we had a toilet leak. He fixed the issue efficiently and expertly, and a week later, we've had zero issues. He also took the time to take a look at an unrelated issue with a clogged drain and showed us how to clean it out. Extremely knowledgeable and reliable. Would strongly recommend!
