Incredible clinic! Our vet retired and I wanted to find a practical but compassionate replacement for our 10 year old giant breed. I found exactly what I was looking for. We’ve only seen Dr B three times so far, but I already feel like everyone there knows and loves our girl! They are so accommodating with scheduling and you can tell they truly care about their patients. Highly recommend!

I am so grateful for Texas Republic. We had to make a very tough decision for our furbaby and not only did they offer in-home service, but they were so patient, kind and supportive. I cannot thank them enough for helping to make a very hard situation a little bit less painful. Thank y'all from the bottom of our hearts.

Dr. Clark is amazing and very knowledgeable! I felt like my pet was truly taken care of. Also the vet techs and ladies up front are all so sweet. ☺ This vet hospital isn’t the closest to me but definitely worth the drive.

Sweet Carolina Dog recent stroke survivor Sanctuary Senior dog "Autumn" with balance mobility difficulty, vision/hearing impairment from her stroke had a good visit at the vet. It was our Howls-n-Meows Animal Rescue first time going to this vet clinic. The staff there were very friendly & good with Autumn. The vet gave 4 meds for Sanctuary Senior Autumn's Hematoma of her ear to try to reduce swelling of her ear & to help manage any possible pain. Due to her old age and recent stroke surgery to drain fluid from her ear is not an option for her. So trying the topical medicine, ear drops, and two other oral medications to help reduce inflammation swelling of her ear with hematoma. I/our rescue recommends this vet clinic for others to bring their dogs to when vet care is needed. They are rescue friendly and they do accept called-in Donations for rescues that bring their dogs/cats there.

Needed to make a emergency appointment and reception was incredibly helpful & kind. Inside is very clean and welcoming with treats available for dogs. My clinic room had a bathroom attached, thought that was nice. My dog was seen immediately and care was quickly assessed by the doctor on duty. Dr Mark was to the point and very helpful with my emergency situation. The timing of the procedure was quick and pricing was reasonable.

Thankful for this local gem and it’s great staff for helping my fur baby Sophie.

Love this veterinary office. I followed Dr. B here from Foster Creek Vet Hospital. Although Foster Creek is down the street (5min away), Dr. B was worth following to his new clinic at Texas Republic Vet Hospital. It’s now a 20 min drive from my house, but the way his clinic is run & the care he’s shown my animals makes it worth it to me. The receptionists and his wife are kind. You’ll sometimes seen their kiddos running around the clinic. Really nice family owned/small business vibes.

Dr. B and his entire staff are insanely sweet, super friendly, genuinely kind and very empathetic. I've been a patient since they opened and they have always taken such good care of my big dogs. We had to put my golden retriever down this evening and for as heartbreaking as the entire situation was, they were kind and compassionate to me and my girl, even as they removed her from the room. Tears still in my eyes, but Dr. B's wife had me smiling and laughing on my way out the door. I won't ever use another vet.

The Texas Republic Vet hospital is SUCH an awesome vet clinic. We have a VERY *skittish* English Mastiff. He’s still young and growing so we wanted to have him weighed to get the proper dosages for his flea and tick medicine which we usually order online. But due to the pandemic, every vet in town has a million different COVID restrictions.

Every vet we called required us to set up a full appointment and take all our info just to get the dog on a scale which was so frustrating because it literally takes 2 seconds to weigh a dog. They also prohibited pet parents from entering the clinic with their dogs. This was a HUGE issue for us because our dog would NEVER allow a stranger to escort him into a clinic without us and is far too large to lift or carry inside.

This vet was the only one that understood our situation. They didn’t require an appointment to weigh the dog. We were able to go inside with him, get a tour of this gorgeous clinic and meet the owners and staff. We also ended up purchasing his flea and tick meds on site and it was 1000x more affordable than ordering it through Chewy or via other vets.

Dr. B also spent a lot of time getting to know our dog and being gentle with him. They were never in a rush. This was so important to us because our dog takes a LONG time to warm up to new people. Having just moved to Texas in the middle of a pandemic, we are so grateful for this vet clinic. Thank you TX Republic Vet Hospital! ♥ Best experience ever.

I recently rescued a puppy, a friend found, and tried this vet based on two different recommendations. I found the clinic to be awesome, and the veterinarian was great and knew his stuff. He is clearly a dog person, and gave grade advice.

I cannot begin to express my appreciation for this office. Our vet was out of town and my 17 year old fur baby was ready to part us. I called Texas Republic Veterinary and they were beyond responsive and catering in making our experience comforting. Our paperwork was already filled out when we arrived, our room had a blanket ready for her to lay down on. Multiple staff members were apologetic and provided their condolences. This establishment is a rare find and one I will continue to use them in the future. Thank you again.

We LOVE TRVH!!! We adopted a Husky mix back in September 2022 and found out after adoption papers signed that dog was heartworm positive and after 3 days home he was so sick. We brought him to TRVH and they told us he also had pneumonia! They were so great getting Moji healthy enough to start heartworm treatment. Now 6 months later our sweet boy is doing great. He loves going to the Vet. The whole office and staff are amazing! I would recommend them every time!

We really do appreciate Dr B. He is amazing and tries to help your furry loved one least invasively as possible.

My first time was one of the worst days of my life because that day my dog ​​was diagnosed with cancer and I made the most painful decision. They helped me a lot throughout the process, they are nice people who really care about you and your pets. When my little pug Odette was a few minutes away from dying, her whole team went to say goodbye to her and give her love, they even allowed her to rest peacefully in my arms during the whole process…. almost a week later I received a beautiful card with her best wishes for me…. That means too much to me! , I am going to have a new puppy, and I am 100% sure that they will be my vets.

A huge thank you to the whole team for helping my little Yorkie after pinching a nerve! She’s back to her happy little self. An amazing and caring team! Not to mention the building itself is very clean and welcoming (not scary like a lot of other vets)

Had a great experience bringing my dog Fitz here. They accommodated me at the last minute twice and were significantly cheaper than the previous vet I was taking him to. The vet who took care of my fur baby Fitz when he had an infection actually clarified that he was getting balanitis and not UTI as I previously thought! We plan to use them permanently going forward for all his regular vet visits. The front desk staff is so kind and polite. They doted on Fitz and he was the happiest of doggos getting all the attention. The facility is clean. And they truly all seem to love animals here. Couldn’t have found a better place to take my fur baby to! Also they are so quick, both visits took me less than 20 min to get him in, examined and out the door.

Dr Richard was absolutely wonderful. We had to put our pup down and she came to our house. Very professional and comforting during this difficult time. Highly recommend.

Dr. B and Dr. Clark are both amazing! They’ve treated so many of our family animals over the years, including a bunny, kitties, and pups through annual check ups, surgeries, and sadly, crossing the rainbow bridge when they were ready. I’ve never felt more comfortable and trusting than I do with these two doctors! 12/10!
