Sammy's Italian Bistro - Burleson

WOW!! We were greated with smiles and friendliness. The service was amazing. Not pushy or rude. Gave plenty of time before our order and great recommendations. I had the Chicken Parmesan with Fettuccine Alfredo, my daughter had original chicken Parm. Wife had Shrimp Scampi. The chicken Parm is 5 stars and beyond. If you're only here once get it! The fettuccine Alfredo is amazing as well. I tried my wife's shrimp scampi without the shrimp and it was as expected, probably 4 stars. But overall what a great dinner lovely people and amazing food. You won't be disappointed.

we’re still fairly new to town so this was our first time at Sammy’s by recommendation of a friend. it was by far the best little hidden spot we’ve found in burleson. our waiter, who’s name i unfortunately didn’t get, was definitely on top of it. he kept up with our food and drinks but wasn’t overbearing. the food came out hot, fresh and fast. it was absolutely delicious. the whole family left full and satisfied. the vibe of the restaurant was quiet and peaceful. u could tell they have plenty of regulars which is always a good sign. if your ever in the area i highly recommend trying it.

A very small Italian eatery with delicious food! I loved the baked ziti but the meatballs were what stole the show. Portions were hefty and the presentation was pleasant. They do not serve any alcohol, beer, or wine. However, BYOB is acceptable! If you want some Italian comfort food then please check this spot out.

Me and my sister have been coming here since we were 15 and 16 years old. We love this place so much it feels like family the owners Benji and steve are such sweet and wonderful people and of course one of the waiters Avni ! Hands down he's the best. Also the food is hands down amazing absolutely delicious!!

Everything I’ve had is great! Some of the better pizza around, but I always enjoy the Lasagna or Philly Cheesesteak for lunch. Chicken Alfredo is very good as well. Staff is the friendliest. Best Italian in Burleson

Hidden gem, glad we found it! Delicious food, extremely friendly service, lots of options! Bring your own wine! Try the garlic cheese bread :) can’t wait to come back!

I remember going to Sammy's for dinner with my family 25 years ago when I was in high school. I couldn't believe then how good the food was nor how authentic. It always seem to be. Fast forward to today in 2023, their food is just as good as I remember. If you are wanting to have some really great Italian food in a environment that feels like you've been invited into someone's home, Go to Sammy's.

360 EXCELLENT!

The boy and I love this place. We usually get the combo but this time I decided to try their pie. Loved the crust. Fresh and simple pizza, yet so tasty. This place never disappoints.

The food was great. The kids wanted olive garden, but the food there isn't authentic Italian and tastes very generic to me and way over priced. This place had better service and the food was way better in my opinion and all of the kids even said they like Sammy's better. For 7 people I spent less than 100 and got better quality food made and served by actual Italians 😆 you may not get the endless soups and salad but to me it's worth not getting for the better food quality. The portions were perfect as well. You do get as much free bread as you want as any other place. You can tell they actually make it. Not pre packaged like olive garden. Now that I changed their minds we'd rather go there any day over olive garden. The kids loved their real handmade pizza. Better than the big restaurants frozen junk. Best to have better food and price than over pay for generic bland fake Italian. Sammy's is #1 for us now

Owners ... Don't up the prices by even a penny... you are at the perfect price point... $1 more and you are no different than many others .... YOUR VALUE SETS YOU APART... VERY SMART!

Wife had Spaghetti and meatballs and I had the Chicken Alfredo and they were both awesome, nice and friendly staff, been here a few times and never had to wait to be seated, place is very clean, clean silverware everytime (I always check silverware)...
It's so delicious I only wish portions were a little bigger, portions are a little smaller than most Italian restaurants

Family owned, and they have the best pasta sauce ever. Been coming here for 10 years and the staff is always friendly, food comes out quickly and it’s just the best experience. 10 out 10 will eat here again!

Nice little family owned restaurant. Had the chicken parm. Had the pink sauce instead of red. It was excellent.

The sweet tea was above average. I must have had 6 glasses and my glass never ran empty. 👍

Nothing I ate was complicated but that's what makes a good Italian dish great, the ingredients are simple yet very well done and very delicious, kudos to a new favorite place to dine!

As always when we go, the food is delicious and the staff is great. The waiters and waitresses constantly check to make sure if you need anything. It's quite and cozy and love the low lighting. Keep up the great work everyone and can't wait until we visit you again.
