Had grinding noise and engine knocking; never a good sound from an engine.

Service Manager and team found metal in oil pan. Quoted 2 replacement engines and then determined current engine was non-repairable. A replacement engine made no financial sense for this auto so they buttoned it up and we settled our tab. They did find a recall for my 2012 Kia sorento, however my vin# was NOT part of Kia Automotive class action lawsuit for the exact reason my engine failed.

We were treated with the upmost respect with dignity and care. Management went way above with quote work ups, a honest auto repair shop is hard to find which I will endorse for anyone. I however reccomend to not purchase any Kias manufactured from 2011-2013, lots of engines catching on fire, seizing, and Kia not upholding their 100000 mile warranty.

I give this place five stars. Great service!! We have taken both our Cars here for everything from major mechanical problems, AC, and state inspections. Emily is transparent in pricing and work done and they provide a warranty on work done. For honest work and good service Legacy will not disappoint.

Highly recommend! I had been searching for a local auto repair shop for quite some time. Legacy Auto Repair was mentioned to me as a woman-owned business and as a business owner myself, I wanted to support my fellow businesswoman. I was delighted to walk into a shop that was clean, smelled great (not like oil and grease), had areas for the kiddos, a workstation setup for business people to work while waiting on their repair. I dealt with the owner, Emily, directly and she was very approachable, courteous, and took care of my auto inspection herself. I will be coming back to this shop for all my auto repair needs.

I Highly Recommend Legacy Auto Repair!

Legacy Auto Repair bought out C.A.R.S. (which I was a customer of as well). I have taken my 16 year old car to Legacy now 2x. The first time was quite a few months ago for a coolant leak and they acurately diagnosed and replaced the old waterpump and went above and beyond on the service & customer care with updates and even shuttle service - which for me was a Godsend!!!

This week my AC suddenly went out so I called Legacy to get an appointment and they were able to get my car right in the same day!!! Within only a few hours I had a diagnosis and estimate, which I approved right away and they did an amazing job replacing the AC compressor and some other issues the car has had since I bought her used about 6years ago!!! Well, I have just had an excellent experience with Dennis, Brian, and all the CARS staff. They were extremely professional and helpful. I went in for brake repair, water pump, coolant reservoir replacement, etc. on a 2001 Chevy Malibu. They showed me all the issues and fixed my car at a great price. Dennis the owner even drove me to work today ! The customer service is the best I have ever experienced in my life. The waiting area is very clean with comfortable leather couches. They even gave me an option of the Care One credit card to delay the payments until 90 days with no interest. I could not be happier. Thanks, Dennis, Brian, and all the CARS crew! You guys are amazing. You have a loyal customer and I will be glad to tell all my contacts.

My husband and I have been taking our vehicles to C.A.R.S. for years. The professionalism, service, hospitality and fairness here is unmatchable. A few months ago, I needed several things fixed on my truck at once. Dennis took the time to not only explain what the issues were but he took me into the shop and showed me. I was able to understand and see what the issues on my truck were. All of the work was done so quickly and at a fantastic price. At C.A.R.S. I always know I’m getting the fairest price and the best care for my vehicles.

This is a very great place. The mechanics have a very Good diagnostic skills. They were able to diagnose and identifying my car problems and fix them in a timely manner. They are very friendly and accommodating. They also have a good work ethics. the price is reasonable compared to other places I have been. I highly recommend them.

Extremely nice people. Nolan is super sweet and knowledgeable and Emily is awesome, easy to make conversation with. They fixed an issue with my car that I have had for years and tried to fix myself about 5 times. They stand by their word and their work. Highly recommend

I take pride in maintaining my vehicles and it goes without saying that to do this effectively at a fair cost you need to find a good mechanic that you can trust. I initially took my truck into Service One Automotive and they told me I had a busted strut, ball joints needed to be replaced, etc. They quoted me $1,700 for all of the work that needed to be done and emphasized that it was imperative that I get it done as soon as possible (even though a shot strut isn't going to put your vehicle out of commission). I knew right off the bat they were ripping me off and trying to mislead me into getting the work done there by telling me it was urgent work that needed to be done. I drove my truck around for at least 3 months after that without any issues. When I checked my struts they looked fine to me, but I knew I needed a second opinion. I needed to find an honest, trustworthy mechanic to take a look at my vehicle and do a full inspection on everything that needed to be done to my truck. I took it to C.A.R.S is Conroe and Dennis Mendoza took care of everything. They had great customer service and he kept communication with me over the phone while I was at work with what all needed to be worked on and how long it would take and when my truck would be ready as well as cost of service. His mechanics are certified and they found that there was in fact, nothing wrong with my struts or ball joints. They diagnosed everything that needed to be done with my vehicle and got it done that day. Total cost was around $650. I'll definitely be taking my truck back to C.A.R.S in the future for any maintenance or repairs that I need. It's hard to find honest mechanics these days but they're out there, and Dennis is one of them. Can't recommend this place enough!

This Auto repair shop is Highly recommended. I've been going there for more than 5 years. The owner, Dennis and the staff are honest, skilled, friendly and courteous. Today, in a short notice and end of the working day the owner agreed to check my car and fixed the struts despite the cold weather. Would like to thank them for their caring service.

I've taken my truck here as well as my wife's jeep and both times the crew was real thorough in explaining their findings. They were real fair and honest with their pricing and service. I recommend anyone know to these guys, and plan on taking my vehicles back in the future. I haven't found any mechanics with this kind of service since I've been driving, and that says a lot. I will be returning soon for an oil change and state inspection, because of their fairness. Good Job guys!

This is my go-to car repair shop! Dennis and his co-workers are so nice and treat everyone like family! Every time I set into the door they know who I am. They are so HONEST too! They never lie to you. I love that in a repair shop. I’ve been to so many other repair shops here in Conroe or in the area where they try to sell you on parts you don’t need or lie to you about what is wrong with your vehicle. They don’t do that here. Every time I’ve been here I’ve waited no more than 30 minutes for them to tell me and SHOW me what’s wrong with my vehicle. I recommend this place to all my family and friends. The great thing is, they even take a look at your car before charging you a dime! And if you know nothing about cars, they take you in the back, they show you and explain to you what is wrong. The cost is so inexpensive and they work with you on the prices! If I were you, don’t even waste your time on other shops! This place is AWESOME!!

My car is ten years old, and various issues have been popping up over the past couple of years. CARS has been a reliable resource for repairs and advice, and pricing is affordable and fair. Most recently, I assumed by brake pads were worn out, and requested they replace them. To my surprise, they inspected them, and told me that they were still good. That's the kind of honesty you can expect at CARS!

Very good experience with them. They were recommended to me by my cousin and I would recommend them to anyone who wants your car taken car of. Out of nowhere, driving back from the store, my car started shaking and the "service engine" light started blinking. (Blinking=emergency) Had it towed to them. Had a response quick. Had several things wrong, was told what was ABSOLUTELY needed and what could wait. Just passed 100k so was overdue for a full tune up, battery was super low, and sadly also had half my coils go out. A few other things to. Gave the go ahead. Had the car back same day. $1200 is never something you want to hear but their quality and kindness softened the blow a bit. Car seems to be running like new and they included a warranty. Overall I will be back to them in the future!

CARS Complete Auto Repair is my go to car service company! I used to go somewhere else for service and became dissatisfied with them. I started looking for other service companies and discovered C.A.R.S. After reading numerous reviews on different sites I knew this was the place for me! Their care, attention to detail, promptness and professionalism is phenomenal! Pricing is superb as well! They truly seem to care about every customer on an individual basis! And they never try to oversell services or push or hard sell me into doing something now, instead allowing me to be informed and make my service decisions myself in “my time”! My husband has taken both our cars to be serviced by this company. He had repairs done which were done correctly, in a timely manner and for an affordable price. I've had oil changes done. Something as simple as a oil change is not always done the correct way, however mines was done correctly and all of my fluids were topped off as well. My car was riding very smoothly. If your looking for a dependable, reliable, and trustworthy automotive business I suggest using this company. It doesn't get any better.

My wife's Tahoe was due for an oil change and inspection. As soon as the staff seen the registration sticker in my window, they explained the new state laws to me concerning inspections. They stated I DID NOT have to spend money on an inspection today! They checked my tires, all fluid levels, windshield wipers, and all aspects of the vehicle to make sure my wife's vehicle was safe. They saved me money and time. Excellent service. They will get my business again.

I took my daughters car in that was running improperly with the check engine light on. Called the shop on a Saturday morning, told them the issue and the need to have the car back that day. I was asked to bring it in for diagnostics. When I arrived I was told diagnostic work would be applied to repairs if elected. I received a call with recommendation of fuel system flush and spark plug replacement. I said I was not able to have all the work done at one time and they said it was fine but to start with fuel system flush which I did and the work was completed that day as agreed. Returned the car the following Wednesday in the afternoon to have spark plugs replaced. I stated that the car needed to be completed by 8:00 the next morning (it was a 4 hour job) and the work was completed as agreed. Daughter picked up the car and told me later that day it was still running bad. I called the shop and they said they did not have time to finish up final diagnostics and would complete at my convenience. I returned the car the following Saturday and the work was completed as agreed with no additional charges.

Amazing experience!! They were quick to diagnose and repair in a timely manner without breaking the bank. Everyone I came in contact with was considerate and knowledgeable. Emily, who I talked with the most over 3 days, is outstanding. She coordinates things like crazy to keep customers happy and everything on track at the shop. I will be going back for ANY car issues or maintenance as long as I live close by!!!
