Angie's Mexican Restaurant

The food was great!! This was our first time going to the restaurant. I seen all the good reviews and decided we needed to try it for ourselves. We were not disappointed at all the only thing that could’ve been a little better was the waitress didn’t come over very much, she was very nice though. I just had to get her attention when we needed something. We will definitely be going back.

We came for breakfast tacos, hoping it was close to the ones we got in Corpus. These tacos did not disappoint! Salsa was on point, and the barbacoa was bomb. Everything tasted fresh, and the serving sizes were great. Our service was perfect, and food came out quick. I can't wait to come back for lunch or dinner sometime soon. 😋

Homemade chips and salsa, homemade flour and corn tortillas and Horchata was delicious! Food is fantastic, service is top notch and the Mexican decor was adorable! Also VERY AFFORDABLE!!

What a great place to eat! The food is amazing and the portion sizes are generous. Everything is priced nicely and the service is warm and friendly. I ordered the mixed fajita plate for lunch and I was impressed. Meat was perfect and they brought it to me sizzling with some fresh corn and flour tortillas. Honestly I knew it was going to be a top notch place once I tried the salsa. While eating I noticed that many of the customers coming in for lunch were regulars. Another great sign.. I want to be a regular too. So glad I decided to stop and check this place out.

Great, friendly, smiling servers and above average food made this a winner for lunch. Loved the spicy salsa roja, salsa verde, and chips. The food was all VERY good and tasted as good as it looks in my photos!

This little hole on the wall will definitely surprise you. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. As soon as you step in you get greeted with a "hello" and a smile. Which to me, means a lot, the food can be good but if the service is bad it can for sure ruin the appetite. When they bring chips and salsa I recommend asking for spicy green. Very delicious ! They have homemade drinks. Jamaica, limonada, and horchata. I went with horchata. It was great! I got the "Kamilah" a sea and turf combo. The shrimps have a wonderful taste of garlic and lemon. Neither flavor over powering the other. The chicken and beef, on top of grilled onions, cooked to such a tender perfection! Plus home made tortillas! Guys and gals you will not be disappointed! Best in Conroe.

Since we moved here, we’ve struggled to find solid Mexican food that checked all the boxes for us. We’re not big fans of the heated salsa nor Tex-Mex in general. Most places lack good seasoning overall. However, this place is really good! In fact, it’s honestly way better than what we’ve tried over the last couple years. It’s a simple, unassuming place tucked in the corner of a strip mall in downtown Conroe but don’t let the lack of glitz and glam fool you! The food is really great and the service is very friendly.
I judge how good a Mexican restaurant is based on their house salsa, hottest salsa and their carnitas. All were excellent with great flavor! So much on their menu to choose from that you’re sure to find something you’ll love (even for the Tex-Mex fans). We will ABSOLUTELY be back!!!

A Cute little restaurant with genuine Mexican flair with great service. The food is very tasty and the prices are great for the portions they give you.

Absolutely love this place the decor and atmosphere is authentic and genuine. The servers are pleasant and kind. Tortillas both corn and flour are made in house and are delicious. The flan and the fried ace cream are so good I almost fell over!!! Not kidding! Check them out!!!

During our lunch we got to see the authentic and loving happy birthday song and celebration that the staff sings for guests, even the chef was out there singing. It was a really cool experience.

Small, out of the way restaurant that is worth the trip. Lunch menu was large and great value, ordered beef fajitas for two and the quality and portions were outstanding. The salsas and charro beans made it for me… both were excellent and the green salsa was hard to stop eating. Will be back!

My wife, daughter and I were in the area and looked up best Mexican food in Conroe. Angie’s came up as the best. We were not disappointed! The menu is like an encyclopedia of Mexican cuisine. We all selected something different. Tacos Al Carbon (beef), Cheese Enchiladas, and Beef Street Tacos. All were excellent! The service was exceptional! Friendly, fast, and attentive! The atmosphere was perfect, both music and decor. The restroom was spotless! If we’re back in the area, we will definitely return. Thank you Angie’s for such an enjoyable dining experience!!

Love this place. It's a hidden gem that no one notices. Great green and red salsa, good queso Blanco, and street tacos were spot on. I thought the corn tortillas were very well done.

I absolutely love this place from the atmosphere to the amazingly authentic food! If you're anything like me then you know how hard it is to find TRULY authentic Mexican cuisine these days. If you want Tex Mex?! Don't come here! This place serves everything HOMEMADE!!!! BOTH flour and corn tortillas are made daily from scratch! You can taste the freshness and love they put in every bite. Margaritas are made with wine just an FYI but who doesn't like a strong buzz?! Restaurant is immaculately CLEAN! My mom and I were impressed. She order fajita nachos and I order the tex-mex enchiladas and I must say the food was delicious. The nachos were well proportioned with meat & cheese. The waitress was very attentive and the ambiance is very casual. I will go again!

First time to this location. I'd call this place a hidden gem. It tucked away in a small strip center, but the food was absolutely amazing. I had the street tacos with chorizo. No complaints the wait staff were friendly and attentive, and the prices are fairly low compared to other places. Will definitely come here again.

What a great restaurant! I did a quick search for Mexican food near me while in Conroe and luckily Angie's Mexican Restaurant popped up! It's a small place located in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. The decor, cleanliness and exceptional customer service make it stand out. I really liked the green sauce which bad a little kick to it. The queso Blanco was also great, rich and creamy with a great presentation. We tried tacos Al carbon - chicken - and the Tex Mex cheese enchiladas. Both tasted wonderful and the portions were big for a great price. Definitely worth another visit when I'm in town again! 😋😋

Excellent service with people who care about your dining experience. I had the guacamole to start couple which was freshly made and delicious. Also, chicken Ranchero enchiladas and a beef hard shell taco a la carte. Food portions were just right and the flavor was fantastic. Authentic homemade salsa and chips complement each meal. I will return.
