Best Dentist I’ve ever seen. He truly cares about his patients and staff. He has the friendliest, most knowledgeable, professional staff I’ve ever witnessed at a Doctor’s office. If Doc ever stopped taking my insurance I would be a cash pay patient!

I've been a very satisfied dental patient for 16 years. The staff is friendly, as well as professional. I trust Dr Portales more than any dentist I have met in my entire life. I recommend him to all my family, friends and coworkers. He and his dental hygienist Holly are 5 stars in my estimation.
When I first came to Conroe Smiles a local dentist had told me I needed dental work on a tooth that was healthy. Dr Portales xrayed to confirm the tooth was fine. 16 years later and this tooth is STILL healthy and intact. I thank God for a dentist that is honest and ethical.

Dr. Portales and his staff are awesome! He explains everything, is very gentle, and far surpasses dentists I’ve seen in the past. I highly recommend Conroe Smiles for all your dental needs!!

Dr Portales and his team are GREAT! I always feel welcome and safe when I arrive at his office. And I always know that Frankie will be looking out for any discomfort and does everything she can to make sure I'm relaxed. This Dental office looks out for the patient and I appreciate that.

I have been going to Conroe Smiles since my oldest turned 2 and now we have been twice a year for three years. Yesterday was my first time to take both of my girls, now 5 and 2, to get their teeth cleaned and have mine done at the same time, which is no easy task.

The staff at Conroe Smiles made the entire experience run smoothly! Holly, who is AMAZING with kids, cleaned and Xrayed my 5 year old while another hygienist cleaned mine and put on a little show for my 2 year old. When I was done my 2 year old had her first visit with the dentist! Conroe Smiles’ goal when kids are young is just for the kids to have a good experience at the dentist’s office and mine sure did! They were able to brush, use “Mr. Thirsty”, and even the scale for cleaning. The girls normally get to pick out a toy from the treasure box, but with covid they gave them some stickers.

My hygienist was A.J. Listened to my concerns, gentle yet thorough with the cleaning. Dr. Portales listened and discussed all issues of concern. Patient, knowledgeable, and conserative in treatment. The best overall dental office I have ever used. Front office was definitely a plus.

The services and staff at Conroe Smiles can not be beat. Dr. Portales is wonderful, the hygienists there are all professional and skilled and the atmosphere is clean and comforting with state of the art equipment and technology in place. I will not go any where else! Thanks so much.
