I had my first appointment today with Dr. Shelton and she was wonderful. It’s so refreshing to have a doctor that is understanding and kind and to not feel rushed. I had to bring my 1 yr old daughter with me today to the appointment and they were so sweet to her, had toys for her to play with and made me feel like she was not an inconvenience or annoyance. I even signed up her for the membership plan while I was there! 10/10 impressed and will recommend to anyone. Thank you for the warm welcome ladies!

I am so happy I found Advocate Direct Care with Dr. Shelton. I am just overwhelmed by the outstanding service and efficiency of Dr. Shelton. I love the fact we can communicate using the app. Unlike in the past, trying to communicate with my doctor using phone messages, phone-tag. Dr. Shelton does not rush you out of the office but truly sits down to listen to your concerns. Also, she is out to save us money!!!! Lindy is a fantastic assistant. Very thorough and efficient. They make a great team. The place is welcoming, refreshing and comfortable. I feel blessed finding this place and being a patient under Dr. Shelton.

Great place with great people! Brought my 13 yr old son here to establish with Dr. Eller. She is very personable and is an absolute pleasure to speak with and so incredibly thorough. She addressed all our needs and then some. Far above and beyond what we expected. She made sure to cover all the amazing services they offer and made us feel very welcome. Looking forward to getting my Husband established as well. I would absolutely recommend this place if you are looking for comprehensive and convenient care at an affordable cost! So thankful we found them!

We absolutely love Dr. Shelton and Lindy her assistant. We have been going since they first opened. Dr.Shelton spent at least and hour and a half with my first visit getting to know me and my health history and current health needs. I never have to wait to be seen when showing up for my appointment Lindy gets me checked in and takes my vitals and Dr. Shelton is in to see me within minutes. She is the same way with our entire family. We trust her with our health because she takes time with us and listens. I so appreciate the way that they run their business. They respect our time and health. I highly recommend this practice and can’t say enough about the care we receive .

I was so impressed with the home feeling walking into a doctors office. Dr. Shelton and her assistant are spectacular. They take time to know you and care for your health in a non rushed manner. Very one on one and comfortable. Very happy with the choice I made with Advocate Direct Care. Could not be happier. So glad to get my health care through them.

I was really concerned about my 6 year old and I sent a message through Spruce App & Dr Shelton is out and we saw Dr Eller. I just have to say that Dr Eller is a great addition to this practice and she was so good with my little girl! We love Dr Shelton but are happy to say that Dr Eller is also great! Lindy is also always efficient and a great asset to the practice and also available and ready to help when Dr’s are busy.

We joined Advocate Direct Care when my husband retired. I'm self-employed, so there was no employer-provided insurance any longer.
They were referred to me by my dental hygienist who was raving about them.

For those that can't afford the outrageous PPO health plan prices, this is the perfect way to get EVERYTHING you need that can be provided by a PCP plus more.

The personal attention and availability are better than we ever got at our previous practice. It's very comforting to know that we can reach someone willing to help quickly and we are not just a number to them.

We are very happy with Advocate Direct Care and have zero plans to go anywhere else. Highly recommended.

The service and professionalism is unmatched and the physicians are actually able to take the time to listen to your concerns. Dr. Eller has been amazing at reviewing labs and imaging and making sure my family can understand what it all means. They also have a great network of local resources to make sure you get quality care at affordable prices! 10/10 recommend.

After being ill for a year, Dr Eller was able to diagnose and address the issues my wife was having quickly. Appointments were never rushed, she took the time to listen to our concerns, steps taken by other doctors, and where my wife wanted to be with her health. The messaging app is reliable, I was confident in telling another doctor that I'd have an answer from Dr Eller before we left their office, and I did. My wife is in great hands with Dr Eller and the staff at Advocate Direct Care.

I've seen a lot of doctors and specialists and by far Dr. Shelton is the best. You actually get to talk with her for an hour or more, unlike other doctors that give you 10 minutes or less. She treats you like family. My husband has insurance through his employer and chooses to see Dr. Shelton. She is wonderful!!

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Shelton and Advocate Direct Care! Once you experience how much better healthcare is with Dr. Shelton, you'll never go anywhere else. Appointments start on time and unlike other doctor's offices, you actually get to see Dr. Shelton and talk to her about your health concerns without feeling rushed. On top of that, they really get to know you and your health. One of the best parts is the secure app they use, you can get in touch with your personal doctor from anywhere - so cool! You will not regret choosing Dr. Shelton to be your physician.

I just recently lost health insurance as a new mom with a 3 month old baby. I was scared and unsure of where to turn. We did not qualify for any state aid and yet couldn't afford anything on the marketplace. I was so pleased when someone recommended Advocate Direct Care. I LOVE Dr. Shelton. She offered a meet and greet to answer all of my questions, she was able to see my son for a well child visit before we traveled out of state and her monthly fee was less than what we would pay per week for the two of us with traditional insurance. I have also been able to get prescriptions at 1/4 of what I could with insurance, which is amazing! She is kind, friendly and takes her time to make sure all of your questions are answered. I think if I ever got 'traditional' insurance again, I would still remain a patient of Dr. Shelton and her approach to care. I highly recommend her.

Advocate Direct Care was an amazing experience! It has a very warm and pleasant atmosphere and both Dr. Shelton and Dr. Eller were very kind and made sure all my questions was answered fully showing me how much passion they have in patient care. Lindy the office manager was also very sweet and made sure I always stayed comfortable.

When my previous provider left their practice behind in early 2020, I was very worried about finding a provider I could afford that would understand my conditions and needs and respect my preference for a whole health approach to my issues rather than simply throwing pharmaceuticals at everything.

I was so relieved to find Dr. Shelton, she has been wonderful. The low price lab costs are an absolute godsend for me, and she does a great job of balancing medication when needed with my desire to approach my health as naturally as possible.

Can't say enough good things and today was my first appt with them. Dr. Eller is amazing. She gave me a personal approach that's sorely missed in the medical field these days. Their business model is spot on making it so much more affordable unlike big insurance. I hope this business thrives and becomes the future of Healthcare. I'm so glad I found Dr. Shelton! I really appreciate that she talks to you like an intelligent adult and does not talk down to you like some doctors do. The ability to communicate through the app makes things so much easier for quick or complex questions, without having to arrange an appointment time or wait for a nurse to call you back. Dr. Shelton impressed me with her proactive demeanor to get to the bottom of my health concerns right from the start. She discovered a condition that had been missed by previous providers and has consulted with specialists to get me going in the right direction. I'm only sad that more specialists and other physicians don't follow the Direct Care model. We are moving our children from their previous family doctor (who was always hard to get an appointment with or even a call back) and enrolling them with Dr. Shelton, because you can't beat this kind of care!
