Came same day to clear a clogged sink drain. Was the only plumbing company willing to give an actual bid over the phone without asking for my personal information. Ended up needing to snake 60 feet deep but charged exactly his original bid. Cleaned up completely after themselves. Highly recommend--will use them again.

I had a really great experience with Al Mac Pumbing & Gas. Alex is a knowledgeable, responsive, reliable and trustworthy. He has been apart of transforming our yard from day 1 and was integral in making our space exactly how we wanted it. We needed to trench our yard to extend our gas line and have a few stub outs for new water heaters and a grill. He does quality work and I would absolutely call him in the future.

Alex was great to work with! We needed to run a gas line around our house and through our backyard to hook up a heater for our stock tank pool. He knocked everything out in one day and was extremely communicative during the entire process. Once the heater was delivered, he came back out to hook it up to the new gas line. We are so happy we chose to work with him on this project. The level of service was exceptional and I will definitely be calling him again if we need any other plumbing services in the future!

These guys did a great job for me on multiple occasions. The firs was an emergency leak issue that they repaired late on a Friday. I appreciated that they showed up promptly and charged a fair price for the short-notice work. On subsequent occasions, besides standard plumbing repairs, they did some work moving and repairing gas fixtures, quality work in every case. I appreciated that for scheduled service they arrived on time. Strong recommend.

Had water start coming up in my carpet and called Al Mac to take a look at things. He was able to work over the weekend on short notice and fix our old, leaky pipes. We appreciated his quick turnaround and quality work!

Al was professional, knowledgeable, and provided the best response time out of the 10 calls I made. Al came out to hook up our gas stove and install a disposal. He is a Master certified plumber and goes the extra step to ensure a quality job. He is also very pleasant and personal level which is great when someone is in your house for a few hours working on multiple jobs. Al owns the company so he has a lot of stake in his work and it’s shows in his craftsmanship. He answered the phone vs me having to talk to a call center operator and then wait for someone to review my call. He also gave me transparent pricing up front vs many of the big brands that would not give me a clear hourly estimate for service. I didn’t want to enter these projects blindly so I appreciated knowing a ball park range of what to expect. We will be using Al Mac for all future plumbing jobs and so relieved to have found an honest expert plumber. Avoid the big companies and go with Al!

Alex was great! In spite of the 30° and sleeting weather, he removed my old, leaky, dirty 40 gallon water heater from my kitchen and installed a shiny new tankless water heater outside. I had hot water the same day! He was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, polite and friendly. He cleaned up all the debris and didn’t leave any trash in my yard or house. He answered some random plumbing questions for me too.

Desmond was great as well. He installed an owners cut off valve for me and also helped address the water pressure issue. He worked outside in 30° weather as well. He painted the cover for my cut off valve cover blue, so I wouldn’t get it confused with my neighbor’s.

Al is great. He is very responsive and does a great job. Our 25-year-old tank water heater was leaking and stopped working on a Sunday morning. Al came out and installed a new tank that day for a very fair price even though it was a Sunday. We always use Al for our plumbing repairs and projects.

Al Mac Plumbing installed a sump pump in my crawl space. Work was performed in a neat and timely manner. Pump performs flawlessly and I would certainly call on him again. Very professional with a great attitude.

Great communication and scheduling. Arrived when scheduled investigated the issue to ensure the proper approach was taken. Did a few extra checks to make sure our water pressure was working properly. Very friendly and cleaned up the work area.

My water heater was leaking. I received bids from two plumbers who insisted the unit had to be replaced and gave bids of between $1,000 and $1,750 for just labor costs (the new water heater being a separate cost) because of the unusual configuration of the unit, space constraints, location of water filter, etc.

I refused to accept those outlandish prices. I contacted the manufacturer and was sold a replacement component intending to repair the water heater myself. But, then I was stuck because my water shut-off didn’t completely turn off the water. Enter more plumbers who were telling me the only solution is to shut off water to the entire condominium building. They said that process would take several hours (on the clock the whole time). The fact that the water shut-off wasn’t operational also would have increased the original bids significantly as those bids assumed the water shut-off was functioning properly.

After two weeks of a broken and dripping water heater, I contacted Al Mac who offered to come out and look at the situation. Instead of just giving me an estimate and scheduling a later date to repair the problem, he offered to fix it right then. For a couple hundred bucks, he engaged a temporary fix with my water shut-off, replaced the broken component with the part I purchased, and had the water heater totally fixed and working within an hour!!!

It took him 5 minutes to diagnose the problem and explain how he could fix the unit, all at a fraction of the cost of other plumbers.

I greatly appreciated his integrity to tell me what was actually needed, his willingness to use parts I had already acquired, and to repair the water heater (versus replacing it), saving me literally thousands of dollars and unnecessary work.

He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and even vacuumed the area when the work was done, leaving my space cleaner than before he arrived to do work. The total bill was EXACTLY what he said it would be.

Al is great -- he was originally contracted through my pool contractor to do some work in the backyard. I was talking to him as he was wrapping up that job and mentioned a few issues in the house; Al was able to take a quick peek, offer some solutions and provided a bid.

Ever since switching to a tankless water heater, we noticed some of the faucets lost pressure and took way too long to circulate hot water. We spoke to other plumbers who mentioned that there wasn't anything that could be done and that the faucet was in an "as is" state.

I had Al come back a few weeks later and was able to fix and upgrade some of the plumbing system, to both increase water pressure and also speed up how long it takes for water to reach some of the faucets.

I'm really happy about the service and am thankful I've run into Al by chance. I strongly recommend reaching out to Al as his team is great -- you won't find any better in the area.
