This is a no brainier. Newly remodeled, excellent service, great location with it being close enough to anywhere you want to go in Austin.

For the price the room was great!! Although there was no pool or breakfast. I was so amazed with the full kitchen provided, full size refrigerator. There was a stove that was available with pots and pans microwave and a sink!

This place is a real gem. My wife and I stayed here for a week. We read good reviews before booking here and it was an even better than expected! Firstly, the staff was very professional, pleasant and accommodating- special mention to Ben. The facility had everything that you can imagine from a nice FREE laundry, gym, little store, outdoor grill, etc. and all open 24 hours. Rooms were nice and clean. Kitchen came with lots of kitchen ware to do the basics and full size refrigerator. Lots of storage and space. We will definitely return and recommend to others! Thank you, Candlewood for a very professional experience.

I absolutely LOVE this hotel. I wasn't planning on staying in a hotel but I got rear-ended during my six hour drive to Austin and missed my appointment. I stopped at this Candlewood because it's right next door to where I needed to be in the morning. I was NOT expecting it to be so great, especially at the price. It seems like the guests here are all regulars. I even spoke with a gentleman who was folding his laundry and he told me he travels for work and his company books Candlewood every chance they get. The one in Alabama is the best, according to him.

This hotel was a great finish to a somewhat cruddy day. The bed is SUPER comfy, in fact, I want to buy their pillows. The shower comes with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that smell nice and feel great. Again, I want planning on stopping so I didn't have toiletries with me. My "suite" has a kitchen: sink, fridge, cooking range, dishwasher, and even dishes. There's a large "L" shaped desk, a wall mounted TV you can adjust the position of, blackout curtains, and a recliner. It's a clean, comfy room.

I'm not a big fan of hotels because if they're not expensive, they're disgusting. This one is not expensive and I would totally live here full time if I had the option. I had a great shower, a great sleep, and agreat cup of coffee in the morning. The only thing I'd fault them for is no continental breakfast BUT the cleanliness, price, and quality of the hotel far outweighs any fault. Five stars, no reserves.

I absolutely loved my queen suite!!! The size, space, cleanliness, bed comfort and home appeal was amazingly fantastic!!!! The photos displayed on the website definitely represented the rooms. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I was very impressed and will always make the Candlewood Suites my first choice for travel lodging in the future...5 Star Hotel!!!! Thank you for your integrity!

Clean amenities and courteous friendly staff!!! Nice and clean rooms!!! Super comfortable bed!!! Complimentary snacks in cupboard room were God-sent when came back at midnight on an empty stomach... cliff bars have never tasted so good.. thank you!! And best part of it all: Doggo-friendly!!!

It's a great place the rooms are very well-designed with the big desk and a nice flat screen TV. They have a wonderful outdoor barbecue area and a fully functional kitchen in each room. Very friendly staff. Good Internet and free laundry with a workout room.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The suites are nicely furnished with everything you would need during your stay. The hotel even has various small appliances available for loan. The location was very easy to get around South Austin, with Still Distillery, St Elmo Brewery, and food trucks near by. They are also pet friendly, with a $15 pet fee.

I'm in a 1st floor suite. Very good floor plan, with large, built-in table that can double as a desk. Desk area in bedroom with rolling chair. Ample closet space. Nice kitchenette with full-size refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. 2-burner induction cooktop. Stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, and a small coffee pot. Nice selection of food items available to purchase, in a large, key-protected space that includes free washers and dryers, and a well-equipped gym. Pet-friendly. A great value! This is my first time at a Candlewood, and I'll definitely choose one again!

One of the best places I've stayed at. Shannon at the front didn't miss a beat when we arrived early for check in. She found two available rooms, acknowleging that the one by the office might be noisier, but let us choose.
Our room had a full kitchen, dishes, silverware, everything we might want. Down the hall was a 'pantry' where oatmeal, coffee and fruit were complimentary. Many other items were available for purchase. The laundry sported new looking machines which were free for guests to use! Over by the gym area was a large case that had all types of items which could be borrowed. Toasters, slow cookers, games, xbox or other sort of platform(I'm not familiar enough to be sure which), and even more items.
Our bed was very comfortable, for which I was very grateful. Many hotels we've stayed at don't meet this test. The shower had a very nice triple dispenser with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Shower had super pressure and water was HOT! Everything was very clean and we were quite impressed! Next trip to Austin we'll definitely stay here again!

Great location close to downtown and free wifi, but what I was most impressed by was the fully-furnished kitchenette, complete with cooktop, utensils, and full-size(!) fridge. Ideal if you want to avoid going out for meals. Also very handicap-accessible with lights for the phone and doorbell. I recommend it!

Really enjoyed our stay and Candelwood, friendly staff, stocked cafeteria, nice small gym with the essential equipment and the room clean and cozy. The best part for us was the acceptance of our furry friend and quick access to the 🐕 area . Surely will be staying at Candlewood again in the future.

Clean, nice staff, quiet. Careful when going under overpass nearby, old dude living under it tends to "clean house" about every night and u would be amazed some of the things that come flying down from there. Watch your tires as well if you in a car for same...he can get some good distance some times.

I would highly recommend staying here as the staff has been great and I appreciate the pet friendly environment.

Austin is a very small city so to get to all the attractions from here is just fine. The drawbacks are the freeways and backward mentality of this city, not the hotel. If there is a let down it would be that it does not have a swimming pool, but it does have a 24 hour fitness center, free washer and dryers and decent snack area. Having a kitchen, dishwasher, and a dvd player in the room makes the stay easier and more affordable than going out to eat every night when you can cook at “home” instead.

Highly recommended.

This is a small but nonetheless, well equipped hotel. The room was clean, had enough lighting, quite enough channels on the cable, DVD rental.

The best feature for me was the kitchenette. I wanted a room with a microwave, and a refrigerator, It came along with a stove, cutlery and crockery.
NOTE: they even had utensils on rent.
they had a small gym. enough for a person who wants to get in some cardio, as well as yoga mats, swiss balls etc.
10 minutes (or less) away from downtown. amply of restaurants in the vicinity, 2 minutes away from a walmart.
staff seemed polite. no hicups.
bed and pillows were recently upgraded so i was really comfortable.
WIFI works well for downloading but not uploading.

It was clean and friendly the suite was very accommodating. Poofy pillows very comfy. And lets not forget Armondo the guy at the front desk he was awesome very helpful and polite he sure does know he's stuff for customer care!
