Las Fabulosas Quesadillas

So the first thing you need to know is this is really a food truck that happens to be inside of a building. The atmosphere, so to speak is plain and simple. And you will have difficulty finding any place to park. But that's not why you're here you're here for the food. In speaking specifically for the Chicken Quesadillas they are fantastic. I can't really speak for anything else but judging by the quality... everything else should be good too it's just that these were so good I just keep getting them. So a word about the chicken quesadilla plate. It's not really a plate and the sides portions are so small they're really only samples. But if you got a full side serving of the rice and beans and salad which are very good... It would pump the price point up to $15 a plate. So they're not so much skimping, as just trying to keep the price reasonable in a very expensive town. And their sauces are top-notch. Why should you listen to me? For one thing I'm an Austin native. I'm old I'm fat I'm Hispanic... In South Austin that counts for something. So if you want a good meal the best would be to brave the lack of decor and have it fresh from the counter. But take out works just fine. You won't be disappointed. LA

Pretty great quesadilla location in South Austin! Got to try their asada and chicharrón prensado quesadillas my first visit and they were delicious! The chicharrón was so good. For $10 a platter, it’s definitely worth a visit. Each platter came with rice and beans and a side salad. Can’t wait to revisit to try their other quesadillas!

I got a 1 cheese & 1 chicken quesadilla. I really enjoyed the chicken quesadilla, but the cheese one was too cheesy! I know too cheesy is there such a thing? The cheese was actually falling out of the tortilla, but it still tasted good. Also they use corn tortillas not flour so keep that in mind if you come here. Both sauces were good & overall I will come here again in the future.

Our friends took us here. Reminds me of back home - the home feel. The staff were friendly & professional. I had the sopes and they were delicious! Good location.

They really do specialize in quesadillas with delicious fillings. They were quick, friendly and the salsa are spicy. So glad I discovered this gem in Austin

Small little restaurant but HUGE on taste! Recommend the Chicken Tinga Quesadilla only $2.99! Make sure to try both red and green Salsas they are both very good!

This place is incredible and everything is made fresh and from “scratch” there is little containers to put salsa in and salsa is on counter where you pick up food after ordering. You can tell the salsa is also made in house. This place is fabulosas!

Omg this are the best quesadillas I have ever try. Do yourself a favor and try it.

This place is literally the best food I've ever eaten, and I'm from Louisiana! I would take this over my grandmother's cooking any day of the week! I go by for lunch nearly 4 times a week and it never gets old but BETTER every time! I highly HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone wanting an amazing meal and awesome music!

Just go here! The staff is amazingly pleasant and the place is so clean. But let’s be real, the food is beyond delicious!

I work next to this place and have to say, this is some of the best quesadillas I’ve had. People that are saying they are bland are out of their minds, fix your pallet. Also, 2 quesadillas is plenty. If you need more than that, you should probably change eating habits. I eat a lot and it’s plenty. The ladies that work here slay in the kitchen and are there before I even get to work. Keep doing what you’re doing!

The staff is delightful and the atmosphere is welcoming. The food, however, is the best-- their quesadillas stay not only warm, but HOT for hours. They're wipe-your-mouth, juicy goodness. Never been disappointed, never walked out of the restaurant without a smile.

I tried Las Quesadillas one day after getting my nails done. And I have made many trips back after that. Their corn tortillas are hand-pressed by the cutest little lady and they are nothing short of amazing. Each one is made to order and it is definitely worth the wait. I love this place.

Damn good pricing and tasty food. No nonsense here. You buy your entrees a la carte and they have a soft drinks, or bottled. The salsa was hot, green salsa even hotter. Staff was very friendly and cool. I will definitely come back to visit them during Austin game hunts

Best quesadillas in Austin! Stop trying other places, they have the best fillings, cheese and freshly made corn tortilla. I can tell they can compete with the quesadillas you can have in East LA or in Mexico City (places I visit often).

I think this is the only food place I've been to several times and haven't been disappointed by the food once!! They're large real quesadillas, cheese and your topping and some salsa on the side.
The huitlacoche and pumpking flower are my usual order. Both are stuffed with flavor and hot. The carne asada is fairly plain, meat and cheese, but it's still good. The barbacoa is decent, as is the bean quesadilla.
I adore the red salsa they give here!
Service is good. Not extra friendly, but bot straight up rude either. Usually food comes out quickly, unless you go during lunch.
Overall it's a clean, quick, very filling place to go.
