Fire Station 36

The team is so kind and welcoming. My sons and I were driving on Ralph Ablanedo and briefly pulled into the Station 36 driveway to glimpse the fire engines from our car windows. The team invited us to come check out the fire trucks up close, even letting my littles go inside the trucks and try on some headphones and helmets. Plus even getting to hold the fire hose. They were so excited! All totally impromptu. I am so grateful for their generosity and hospitality.

My mom is my best friend, to see her suffering is difficult. I know it’s never easy for any family to go through emergencies like the one we had tonight. With that being said, I want to thank each of the first responders who took care of my mother with care and kindness during her time of distress.
They were very informative while they worked on her as well as giving us details. I also have to say thank you, to I believe was a firefighter for the kind words he said to me by just simply pointing out all that is going on and stating “I’m doing a good job”. So simple but it’s something I personally needed to hear. So thank you, Mr. Firefighter.
Thanks to all of you for making my father and I feel at ease knowing she was in good hands. From my mother and father, “thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you did!”

The firefighters were at my apartment training and invited my son to come to their station because my son is in love with fire department stuff.
