Kalico Kitchen

Friendly restaurant with quick service and staff that are very attentive. Our drink glasses never were empty. The food was delicious. Very nice place to stop for dinner after a long days hike.

The waiter was really kind, my sister wanted a calzone and they simaid they were out of bread, but she found a calzone and made it for her. The food was delicious and we always had water.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

Had the country fried steak dinner special. It was served hot and everything tasted great. Hubby had BLT with onion rings and said it was very good. Service was fast and friendly. Waitress was very good. I wish I could remember her name. Prices were reasonable and the place was clean and inviting. We definitely recommend and will be back when traveling in that area.

This is a old fashioned home cooking restaurant. The prices are very reasonable and the food is very very good.

Vacationing from out of town and really didn't know anything about the place but we were hungry. The place was exceptionally clean and I do mean Clorox clean. The waitress kept everything wiped down after a table left including anytime someone came to the counter. We even told her that we really appreciated how clean she kept everything and tipped her extra. The food was excellent and served hot!! We would definitely recommend this little quaint restaurant to anyone..

Great hometown restaurant. Prices are reasonable. Food is good.

Best on the menu is the Ribeye with 2 sides and homemade roll. Don’t bother asking how many ounces though, it depends on who is cooking because he cuts it when you order it - we find portions very fair and “melt in your mouth” good.
Our go to place for a great steak dinner.

It was great. Very low on staff only one waitress on a Friday. She was so busy, but did an amazing good food and drinks were spot on...

I gave this 5 stars because the food was great. Service was awesome. They only had one "special" of chicken fried steak left (it was 2 on) so my husband had that and loved it..me too. I had a BLT, delicious. Will go again on our next trip to the area.

The Kalico Kitchen is a long established institution in our old fashioned town, serving up delicious meals for very reasonable prices. The restaurant itself is pleasantly decorated and always clean. The service is always prompt and courteous in an old fashioned country way. We have been dining at Kalico for the past 20 years and we are happy to recommend it to visitors to the area. The only thing to remember, for new visitors is that you will want to bring cash because they do not use credit cards there.

Great place, very good prices, we had the best waitress(great service) she is on top of everyone's table, she's one of the reasons we like going there.

Very good food! The lunch rush can back up the kitchen a bit but the servers are lightning fast! All-in-all, it's a great place!

Found this little place while looking for a lawn mower parts place. The very lovely young lady was very friendly and helpful. Food was real good and very reasonably price. Will surely come back again
