The Wild Bean

While staying in Lewisburg I came across this little cafe and I’m so glad I did! I was in the area to do some hiking and I wanted to grab some breakfast before my hike so after reading reviews I decided to try The Wild Bean. Everyone was super friendly and they have a good menu with a lot of drink and food choices. I opted for the Green drink (smoothie) and the Huevos Rancheros. The smoothie was delicious and all natural, and the Huevos Rancheros were probably the best I’ve ever had. The dish wasn’t all runny and wet like all the other places I’ve ordered this….eggs, beans, everything was fresh. I liked it so much I went back the next morning before I left town and ordered another Green drink and a scramble with spinach, beans, avacado…SO GOOD! There’s lots of space in the cafe as well and I saw some people working on their laptops…it’s a cute little local place to grab a coffee and a quick bite to eat!

I loved this place! Their maple cinnamon latte is hands down the best one I’ve had (the addition is now real)! The quiche of the day was so good, they warm it up for you if you eat there! Also the muffin was perfect! Highly recommend if you’re in the area or passing through!

Amazing coffee. My wife and I did half caf lattes with sugar free, of which there are many options, and a muffin. They have a great diversity of food options like desserts, muffins and such, quiche, etc. nice random find for us!

Stopped in after brunch to grab a coffee and realized they made in house soda waters!! This was my first time visiting and purchased a fruit flavor soda water that was delicious!! Upon your next trip to the Lewisburg area, I recommend you give this wonderful coffee shop a visit. I was with family members (all adults) and they enjoyed their coffees as well. Not to mention, this place has a really interesting atmosphere that you just gotta experience for yourself. Cheers!

I've traveled to a lot of places in this world and have had a lot of lattes. This place absolutely has one of the best tasting lattes that I have ever had. No flavoring, just espresso and milk. Perfect taste and texture. The place has a nice ambiance and the staff is very nice and welcoming. This was my first time in Lewisburg, came down to do some running, but this is a great town and I'd love to come back to finish running the rest of the town. If I do, I will be stopping here for coffee often. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Stopped in from out of town - I’m so glad I chose to come here! 🥰 Such a cute and cozy ambiance, and the staff were so nice and friendly!!! I ordered an iced matcha latte with added blackberry syrup, and a bacon egg & cheese bagel! 🤗 Both delicious. Restroom & wifi were an added bonus!

Eclectic downtown Lewisburg coffee shop, eatery with lots of drink choices and limited food choices 😋 and a nice selection of desserts.

I’m on a cross country trip and this has been one of my favorite cafes so far. I love everything about it—great coffee, delicious food, reasonable prices, local flair with the miscellaneous things they sell. The staff are also super nice too.

The WiFi does require a code (ask for it with a purchase) every 2 hours, but they didn’t seem to mind me buying something new every so often to keep using it. I’m sure this keeps the average speed higher too.

This is the place to go in Lewisburg, don’t miss it!

I LOVE THE WILD BEAN!!!! I visit my mom in Virginia and we always take a day trip to the area and the Wild Bean never disappoints. Such an ambient, chill atmosphere and my vegan BLAT was so stinkin' food. How does the tempeh taste so dang good! And the cronchy bread! Order right at the counter, find a seat, and then they bring your food right to you. A perfect place for lunch!

Thunderbird Tacos is connected & don't forget to always check the hours before drivin' out! We had seen they were closed but another couple didn't.

Cool cafe in a cool small town. Stopped in while passing through as suggested by great yelp reviews. Amazing service, friendly employees, and a wide, unique selection of drinks and menu items, including vegan options. Has a nice atmosphere and would be a great place to sit and work for a while, or meet a friend for a chat. Definitely recommend checking this place out

Came here end of May. Got a Nitro cold brew coffee and a salad for a quick lunch. Staff is friendly. Was in Lewisburg for graduation weekend. I was using my phone a lot, there were power outlets along the walls which were really nice. One of the locals stopped and chatted my girl friend and I up.

While stranded in Lewisburg, WV for a couple of days, my wife and I enjoyed a delicious cup of tea in the mid afternoon. It is a delightful place for coffee, tea, and food on the edge of downtown. Unfortunately, we were not early enough to sample the food, but we were pleasantly surprised by the tea selection, especially for a coffee shop. Also, the tea did not taste like the water came from a coffee pot, which speaks volumes about their care for the customer. We will definitely be back next time we are in Lewisburg.

The Wild Bean has multiple plant-based options that aren’t salads. Five of their tacos are vegetarian, while four are easily vegan friendly by removing crema and cheese. The staff is knowledgeable about vegan options, and the atmosphere was a blast from the past (like an old bar turned modern). The sweet potato taco was the star- I never thought pineapple would work with roasted sweet potato!

We stopped in on our way down to Richmond and we had the tomato feta quiche and a latte. We loved it so much we made a point to stop again on our way back to Ohio. That quiche was so delicious we wanted to buy a whole pie. It will definitely be a must stop whenever we are in the area.

The bagels are excellent. We also enjoyed the breakfast burritos and coffee. Great service and lively, laid-back atmosphere.

Stopped here for coffee and ended up adding one of their amazing breakfast burritos to the order. They offer vegan and non-vegan items. The Wild Bean serves coffee just about any way you like it. Wifi is free if you buy food or drink.

Food is fantastic. Coffee is amazing. Love the atmosphere and vibe. Employees are very chill & nice! I got the Mediterranean sandwich.

Chai latte delicious and was the right amount of sweet. $5.50 for 20oz. Good price. I would get this again. Service was very fast.

Great little shop with delicious quiche & coffee. Definitely recommend stopping in when your near the area.
