In April 2017, my dog was taken and I was devastated as I saw a van drive away with my "baby". OBPD was right on top of it, pampering me along the way, and my dog was returned to me safe and sound within 24 hours. I realize dog rescue is not top priority to a lot of people - especially on Mullet Toss week-end - but it was important to me and thanks to the OBPD I have good memories from that visit! Kudos to the police and animal control in Orange Beach!

Juts left dinner and stopped by a gas station to get a treat for the kids. Two officers pulled up and started joking around with my son. They gave him some sunglasses and a badge. Thanks guys!

Great people, super nice about arresting me. Spent 3 days in this jail on July 4th weekend. 10/10 would get arrested here again

There’s no curfew but they brought my little brothers back to my condo and ran my moms license for “acting suspicious” that’s literally racially profiling!! Had their hands on their guns and everything and their ONLY 14 and 13 years old!! BEING SUSPICIOUS IS NOT A CRIME!!

Today I have seen 3 police cars driving recklessly and multiple times this past week. I had an enough of the OB dept behavior on the canal road. I have seen police run multiple red lights and they flash “their” lights to get by and then turn them off. People are watching guys and recording y’all. Good luck.

Never would I thought to leave a unbelievable review for our law enforcement. Let start with I am a marine corp veteran as well as former security force while in the military. I full support my local first responders, law enforcement and veterans. The natural in which this department treated my daughter is unheard off and down right wrong. To basically illegally arrest her for doing what I taught my daughter is sad. This department is using young adults as cash cows to fund their department. To trap my scared daughter is disheartening. To accuse her of doing drugs while illegally in custody is unprofound. To tell her while in jail scared to death thank you for funding your 401k plan is uncalled for. You wonder why society goes in uproars with our police departments. I hope every officer in that department but the female one my wife talked too gets a ride on the carma bus. I won't go as far as saying that I hope your child gets treated like this at some point in their life because nobody deserves that experience. I hope the local resident that has taken up a lawsuit calls for a witness to be in court. I will make sure to fly to Alabama to make sure my daughters story is told. Anyone reading this I suggest you take your hard earned money and keep driving and spend your tourist money in Florida. I wonder how the police chief sleeps at night knowing what their departments office do while on the job. I have told my daughters story to local police chiefs and fire Marshall's we know and to see the look on their face is unbelievable. Your department should be ashamed to work under the oath of to serve and protect.
