Pete's Fresh Market #17 - Matteson

Incredible grocery store. The hot tables there have some delicious food. I'm able to find the rarer cheeses here. Not to mention it's meat department has a vast variety of different things. The sandwich steaks sold there are perfect for their name sake. Finally, the produce is phenomenal. I can find the rarer peppers that I can't find in other stores unless I go to a speciality shop. Best store in all the surrounding neighborhoods.

Just had a great shopping experience at Pete's Fresh Market. The selection of fresh produce is outstanding, and the quality is top-notch. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the entire visit enjoyable. The variety of international and local products is impressive, catering to diverse tastes. Prices are reasonable, and the store is well-organized. Whether you're a food enthusiast or just looking for everyday essentials, Pete's Fresh Market is a fantastic choice for your grocery needs.

Open grocery, with wide isles and lots of choices. They also have a hot bar available that offers a variety of food. Staff is friendly. Usually the lines are Ridiculously long. The produce is Fresh. Lots of meats to choose from as well. Average or slightly higher prices.

This store has everything you would expect in a Pete's. When I can't pick up essentials at my local grocery store, I make the drive by hopping the expressway, and it's not a bad drive. You can pick up warm food by the pound and not to mention those delicious tacos you may pick up at their restaurant. Highly recommend this market, and the staff are friendly!

I love Pete's....you can find whatever you need here. I wanted blue crab and of course i found them as well as some oxtails. Very neat and clean location

I can always find what I'm looking for. Plus they always have my mom's favorite cake. Plus it has a large selection of buffet cooks. Everything can have something different. I love the rice, potatoes, and soup selections. Also perfect for a date night instead of just pizza.

The Carmelcorn & Cheesecorn made fresh in the store is a Great substitute when you don't want to drive to Chicago for Garrett's popcorn

Ro is a wonderful cashier! I always visit her lane because I can tell that she loves her job and is eager to greet each customer, no matter how much we talk her ear off lol and that's rare when you start to get older in these new times of "keep your distance" 😏

This place is absolutely amazing with their selection and pricing of delicious food and household bargains needed. The employees are very nice and the establishment was well organized and stocked.

Petes is GREAT for FRESH VEGGIES, FRESH MEATS AND A WIDE VARIETY OF CHEESES among other things like fresh popcorn and wines 😉 THE prices, we'll let's say if you want the best you'll learn how to shop smarter and repackage once you're home.

I love the produce they offer and they have good quality meat and goods. I also enjoy their hot food offerings, a lot of variety. This is by far my favorite spot to get fresh flowers and fresh juice. I'm so glad Pete's came to Matteson!

Nice clean will stock store only think about is I brought a yellow meat watermelon it was not sweet at all the red one I brought with nice and sweet

Great store fresh clean. Good prices on food bakery . What I saw a buffet of All kind of delicious foods smell great buffet awesome. Then around the conner tables to eat there or go us a casino.

I am amazed at the size and variety of goods. I was looking for tamales when I decided to give Pete's a try. Not only did I find the tamales, but I found lots of my other favorites. The staff were also very helpful. I will be back.

Went for cold salad bar, 10.99/lb. It was fresh [6pm] and very good. Have selection of drinks by the food bars and a place to eat onsite.

Most beautiful and fresh grocery store around! Their deli... Amazing, their produce... Fresh, big and beautiful.... Their meat, fresh, plenty of meat for the best price around! Pete's is the best! They have unique produce from all around the world! Super fun experience to shop here!

THEY HAVE THE FRESHEST OF EVERYTHING. THE PRODUCE AISLE LIKE SOMETHING I'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE. THEY HAVE A LARGE SELECTION OF EXOTIC FRUITS AND VEGETABLES. THEY ALMOST HAVE A BUFFET FOR PICKING UP A QUICK BITE FOR WHENEVER YOU'RE IN A HURRY.

I love this store, it has everything, but prices are really high, so I try to catch sales when I can. All in all their awesome.

Lots of variety, good quality decent prices. Helpful, knowledgeable staff. I don't love getting in and out of that parking lot though, especially during the holiday season.

Pete's Market is absolutely a wonderful store to shop at! The store itself is huge with more options than you could ever imagine. They have fresh hot food and salads ready to go at their bars at the front of the store. There is a beautiful olive bar towards the back of the prices were higher than an average grocery store but this was nicer than an average grocery store. The only negative thing to say about this location is they do not have enough employees to handle the customers that they have. It was a 30-minute wait at the deli. It was another 15 minute wait just to get olives and cheese in the back of the store. So so other than needing more and Better Staffing the overall experience was fantastic. I'd highly recommend you go early in the morning to get your best experience!
