Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Wood Dale/Itasca

Nice property located near industrial areas. I stayed two nice. The room was nice and clean and hotel was very quiet. Check-in was easy and the ladies were very nice and courteous!

This hotel has the most friendly staffs. The front desk lady helped me with the shuttle service and I was able to get to the Airport without any issues. The Shuttle driver name was Jong and he was very friendly to my kids and gave them candies. The personal touch is what separates them. Thank you Courtyard by Marriott at Wood Dale, and personal thank you to Jong for his amazing service!

The shuttle driver Jong Kim was excellent! The entire staff was extremely helpful all week long. The rooms were very comfy, clean, and warm!

It is located next to the airport but in an industrial area. There are not many views, but the inside is quaint. It has a small gym area with cycling and a free weight area. There's also a bar and eatery a little pricey $8.55 for a bowl of oatmeal. It's probably just keeping pace with food in the area. Overall, a good nights sleep and a friendly staff.

This hotel has the sweetest front desk staff. The night auditor that checked me in the second time I stayed was so nice and accommodating. I think her name was carrrie. Or Kelly she had shoulder length straight blonde hair I think. The shuttle driver Jong is very nice and his driving is very safe.
The only thing I would change about this hotel is that the tvs are off to the side of the bed and after laying in bed with your head turned to one side it tends to get a little strained. And they probably need to put dog curbing stands out bc there’s been a lot of poop on the side walk by the road.But other than that you def won’t make a mistake.

Hotel was conveniently located close to the interstate for east access in and out of chicago. Located next to great restaurant options as well. Hotel service was absolutely wonderful! While using the gym, we chatted a bit with one of the workers cleaning the facilities. All around wonderful hospitality. The bistro was also a great place to pick up a quick bite when we were trying to move quickly in the morning. Would highly recommend for a hospitable, thoughtful, and welcoming hotel for any stay.

Very helpful, was able to check in several hours early. Rooms were big and clean. They don't have a breakfast buffet but do offer to let you pay for breakfast upon booking which included one breakfast menu item and drink of your choice off of the cafe menu. Indoor pool and gym looked clean but we did not have time to use these facilities.

George went above and beyond and was doing many jobs and with phenomenal customer service during my stay. It was most appreciated.

Great stay and the shuttle was great. The driver, name Jong did an amazing job!

For any travelers looking to stay close to the airport and/ or park your car for an extended period of time: STAY HERE!!!

We researched all the park/sleep/fly combos, but this is by far the best deal (made directly through the hotel). The rooms are very reasonably priced, the neighborhood is safe, and they offer one week free parking with an additional $10: night for more parking as of the posting of this review. The pool is nice but very basic.

Courtney from the front desk is absolutely wonderful. To be honest, she is the reason we booked here before our trip and stayed an additional day afterwards. I had called and talked to so many hotels and was unsure where to go, but Courtney made the decision very easy. Thank you Courtney!

Courtyards look exactly the same and this one held up to the standard.

There was really nothing to critique this location on except the business center. I asked for joining rooms during my reservation; called ro ensure the note, and it was accomplished at 2am checkin.

Parking was adequate, service was prompt, check in/out was flawless. Fire place was going and stunning.

Pros:
-Just about everything.

Cons:
-Business Center computers with screens towards the entire hotel.

Close to airport, free shuttle, very clean, long term parking is convenient, stay was comfortable & staff was friendly. Got caught on a late return flight & the staff went above and beyond to help us.

Nice hotel, rooms are clean, fresh smell, staff is amazing, the guy in the front desk is cute ,my kids enjoyed the pool. The only thing I don’t like is breakfast, it’s expensive and doesn’t worse that money, not tasty at all. I ate fresh fruits and drink my coffee the rest I didn’t like. In general I enjoooyed my stay at this hotel for 5 nights, by the way the balcony was super cute.

Last minute reservation due to a cancelled flight. Hotel has an airport shuttle that picks up from ORD at Terminal 2, Door 2 (across from Hilton entrance), every hour at the 1/2 hour. This same shuttle leave the hotel to drop off at ORD every hour at the top of the hour. Comfy beds, spacious rooms, nice staff.

This is a billed as a 3 star hotel however the service is top-notch. Each interaction with the hotel staff was delightful. I especially appreciated the Bistro staff for providing such warm, friendly service.
The lobby is well laid out for groups and was appealing. I almost removed a star for the room being musty and the AC unit running loudly however a couple of things made me notch up the rating: I really enjoyed being able to use my Netflix login on the TV. Also, I really enjoyed being able to use my phone to unlock my room. You can avoid the front desk all together if you like. This flexibility to use technology in this way pushes this site up in my book.

Only giving the rooms 3 stars... when someone pays to have a "king suite" it should not be a bed in one room, with a completely empty unfurnished room on the other side. Well, not completely unfurnished--there's a microwave and tiny college fridge sitting on a night stand in the corner of the room.

Make sure you check which room you will be getting specifically with the king suite. All other hotels that have this generally have furniture in the suite :)

Bar is great. Bartenders are knowledgeable about great Chicago style pizza 5 minutes away. More great restraunts around as well. Close to the airport.

This manager (I think his name was Zain) was very helpful and incredibly kind. Our room was spotless and a good room. The balcony on each room is a nice touch. Only stayed for a night and didn't use the shuttle service.
