Bella Via Restaurant & Banquet

First time trying BV. Started with the fried calamari, and it was delicious. For dinner, we ordered chicken Ala vodka and it was tasty. I would have preferred a bit more sauce 😄 the chicken Parmesan with a side of bolognese pasta was also very good. Chicken fettuccine was perfect! The servers were all very nice and did a great job!

Yall. Yall. This place is amazing. We tried them for the first time today, take out, and of this is the take out I REALLY need to try them in person!!! So. Good. We got the grilled calamari, seafood risotto, short rib ravioli, and chocolate mousse. We ate the calamari so fast I didn't take a picture. And the ravioli was half gone by the time I took a picture!! My husband has been expounding on how good the risotto is for at least 4 minutes now. So do take into consideration that your spouse might not be able to stop talking about how good it is. And it was so much food we have leftovers!!!

And the service was absolutely impeccable. So kind and friendly when I came in to order takeout and wait on a Tuesday! We will absolutely be back.

This is the seafood ravioli and it was delicious. In a vodka sauce it's perfectly seasoned and the perfect portion. We sat in the large windows which were open and it was a perfect evening.

This place is the hidden gem of Highland Park. Food is exquisite. Service is excellent: friendly, attentive but not intrusive, efficient. Percent except for one minor quibble: the tomato slice on my salad was not quite ripe. Highly recommend this place! Taken there by my daughter and son-in-law because they love it.

Absolutely love this place. Everything was perfect - the service, food, setting. Could not expect anything more. One of my favorite Italian restaurants I’ve been to and definitely on the less pricey side of Italian restaurants. My pasta came with a pretty big side salad. The complimentary bread was amazing. They had some really unique options for dessert and I tried the spumoni (multi flavored stacked gelato). I had such a great experience here especially with the amazing service and extremely nice waiters.

We love Bella Via for a delicious Italian meal! We just discovered their lovely outdoor back patio (see pic.) Tonight we enjoyed the Sea Bass and Four Cheese Toasted Ravioli from their specials menu, along with Bruschetta and Gnocchi. Each entrée comes with a choice of a nice salad or a yummy minestrone. We will be back! :)

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Bella Via last weekend and it could not have been more perfect. Carmela and her staff were amazing and attentive. Every detail was addressed going into the planning and meticulous execution that evening. Carmela steered us in the right direction with other vendors, food and alcohol selections, and tremendous flexibility, even with adjustments that day. They accommodated all dietary restrictions and the food was absolutely delicious, losing none of the flavor and quality you receive when you sit down in the restaurant for dinner. And while the staff was there at every turn, they were never in the way. We would always recommend the restaurant and can now recommend their outdoor and banquet space as one of the best options for a private event on the north shore. We would unquestionably host another event at Bella Via!

I just hosted a rehearsal dinner for my son and future wife here. I and my guests were extremely satisfied with the service and food. We had fried calamari and bruschetta for appetizers, Dinner was chopped salad, rigatoni with vodka sauce and chicken vesuvio. Desert was tiramisu and coffee. Carmela was the best in taking care of all our needs. Her staff was impeccable. I strongly recommend Bella Via to all.

Have been a regular at Bella via for years. Was concerned that the outdoor seating was moved from out front of the restaurant to the side, but it turned out to be an improvement (more secluded, quieter, spacious). Wait staff has always been top notch and the food, while on the pricey side, is always worth it.

Amir and the staff at Bella Via are amazing! We just had our wedding at Bella Via this past weekend, and it was everything we dreamed it to be. We had to move the ceremony inside due to rain. Amir and his staff quickly moved everything making sure to keep the chuppah in tact. It was truly remarkable. The room was spacious and set up beautifully, from the table decor to the blush napkins and linen. Amir and his staff were attentive to our needs and our guests needs. They were always checking in and making sure everyone was happy and taken care of. The best part of the night was by far the remarkable food. We had cocktail hour and appetizers before the ceremony- which was a huge hit with our guests. The meatballs, pizza, toasted ravioli, and caprese skewers were phenomenal! Not to mention the dinner: the salad, pasta with vodka sauce, rigatoni with meat sauce, chicken marsala, chicken picata, and mixed vegetables were fantastic! We are so happy we found Bella Via! We highly recommend this restaurant for weddings, dinner, and other special events.

Been there few times last time in 2016 , food are so delicious!!! Finally went there last Sunday from Indiana and so amazing the atmosphere still same... great service and excellent foods they are so good !!! Could go more often but I live far away so I'll stop by everytime I pass thru . Thank you for serve great foods !!!! 😋

The most consistent Italian restaurant in the North Shore. Very popular with the locals for Mitzvahs, wedding, Birthday and celebration of life events in the banquet facility which is seamlessly part of the restaurant. Beautiful outdoor garden patio for summer.

We happened upon Bella Via on a Saturday night in Highland Park, and they graciously got us a table even though we'd not made a reservation. The atmosphere is cozy Italianesque, and the service and food were exceptional. The Farfalle Rossini was perfectly cooked, and the Salmon PIstachio was delicious. I highly recommend Bella Via.

I hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner. The best calamari I've ever tasted. My guests seems delighted. Service was impeccable.

I'm sorry that I did not give them my business sooner. I ordered the chicken cacciatore and it was perfect. Better than the one I had ordered at Topo Gigio in the city which was my favorite up till now. The sauce was great and there were plenty of peppers, mushrooms, olives and onions I'm the sauce. I'm definitely coming back and soon.

We have been going to Bella Via since it opened. Excellent food is always guaranteed , so excellent service is the added bonus. It so nice to go out to dinner and be taken such good care of -always! They have a Really great wine selection,and whether you order pasta,veal or fish the portions are really great too. And don't forget dessert! Bella Via makes me happy.🎶

Amazing, delicious food!!! I ate too much, but I couldn’t stop eating!!! Best Italian I have had in years!!! Veal Marsala amazing! Beef rib tips ravioli insanely good!!!!! Crisp puffs for dessert are over the top amazing!! Great service! Perfect outdoor eating!! Very careful about covid.

We had a rehearsal dinner at Bella Via. OH MY GOODNESS it was perfect!! I told them the colors, I provided center pieces, gave them extra flowers and turned their creative staff loose! The room was beyond lovely. There was plenty of authentic Italian food served buffet style! The lighting was perfect! We have a hard to please friend from Italy; he wants to make the trip to Highland Park just to dine at Bella Via again!
