The Garden View Café at the Chicago Botanic Garden

Quick and my salmon was delicious. The veggie mix had so many different things and they were all so good! Coffee was good too! Nice break from the walking.

We went for Sunday Brunch recently. Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 AM to 2 PM. Like all the other times we've eaten here the food was delicious. Lots of little extra flavor touches that make it tasty and interesting. For brunch, you order and pay at a counter and the food is brought to your table. This time we had a mushroom and cheese omelet, lemon-blueberry pancakes with blueberry coulis and a tuna melt sandwich. An outdoor dining terrace with grill is a lovely option when the weather is suitable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The place was impeccably clean. The Garden View Café is really a gem.

The cost is very reasonable for a "nice" cafe. The only possible downside of eating delicious food in a gorgeous garden is the parking fee. Even though garden admission is free the cost of parking is typically $25 per car on weekdays and $30 on weekends. Less for seniors and free for garden members. Of course, you could Uber here or take public transportation or bike or walk if you lived nearby to avoid the parking fee. But when combined with a nice long garden visit, often with free concerts during the summer, the parking fee for a meal here seems really worth it.

Ok selection of food but you will have chance to sit on the nice outside patio with plants and flower around you Nice selection of drinks. Pleasant speedy service.

We ordered the chef special (carnitas flatbread) as well as a beer and a glass of wine. This is a perfect spot to take a break!

Perfect cafe to enjoy a full day at the Gardens. Good food fast service and ample seating. Breakfast was decent. Iced vanilla latte was perfect, not too sweet. The to go selection had many choices if you want to eat in the park.

Went to a memorial in July 1 for a friend who passed. The food was great, the customer service was great. If I lived nearby I would sign up and walk the beautiful parks. Thank you!

The food was very good at an average price. The purchase time was a bit of a wait but the seating accommodated our large party and had a great view!

Glass Windows overlook a beautiful garden as you enjoy delicious healthy food in this environmentally friendly, clean, modern café that surpasses all expectations. The menu is a little pricey but the portions are generous and the quality of the food is so good that you leave full and satisfied. We had the tomato bisque and Caesar salad combination and the breakfast panini and were in heaven with every bite. Worth it! Note: we ordered from the menu, we did not take the ready to go snacks and meals from the refrigerators. Eat in- and enjoy the view !

The outdoor grill has a small selection but the food is organic/local and delicious! Even the salads in the fridge are really good. I'd recommend breakfast there if you are health- conscious and an early riser.

Kind of a fast food place but with much better food. Satisfying and flavorful fare and it's in Chicago Botanic Garden for goodness sake so the view was fabulous.

had great coffee and delicious pastries after walking thru the very cool Asia in Bloom Orchid Show. Garden show was great but $25 to park in a huge parking lot is Robbery. parking should be free or $5 if you pay for the special show/exhibit.

Nice spot to sit out on the deck with a cold drink and snack after a walk in the garden.

Always fresh and delicious and innovative. The sandwich with the cheese and apple is great. Polite service and a beautiful environment.

Great clean cafe. Serves Starbucks drinks. They have sandwiches, chips, water, juice, salads, hot dogs even few beer options.

We had brats which were delicious and the price was very reasonable. Of course the setting is beautiful.

Always fantastic ambience. The turkey panini was fresh and wonderful. Fish and chips is not that impressive.

Nice easy restaurant at the incredible botanic gardens. Eclective food choices and very good. Wine and beer choices are also available.

Wonderful views with great food. During the warmer months they have a cafe inside and classic Grill food outside.
