Schuler’s has been the #1 must experience restaurant in Marshall for over 100 years! In 2024 it doesn’t disappoint. The service and atmosphere are amazing. My BBQ brisket sandwich was juicy, tender, and filled with well balanced flavors.

I absolutely love this place!! Best prime rib ever the atmosphere is amazing the service is amazing. We had a business dinner with BMW from Germany and also my colleagues from China . They were very impressed with Schuler’s and our business meeting was successful!! Thank you Schuler’s for you hospitality. ❤

A friend told me about this historical restaurant. I visited it while attending a 2 day training conference in Marshall. MI.
Gergio was our waiter. He was friendly and attentive to us. The food was delicious and seasoned well.
The atmosphere was welcoming. I enjoyed reading the Old English style scripts on the walls.
The 🥜 homemade peanut butter cookies were mouth-watering!
We enjoy the ambiance that included Wall Paintings of Old historical bldgs on the interior.

Celebrated my mother’s birthday at Schuler’s Restaurant and Pub in Marshall, Michigan, and it was a fantastic experience! The service was consistently excellent, and the diverse menu catered to everyone’s tastes. I opted for the pot roast, a savory delight, while my mother enjoyed a delicious chicken dish. Ashley and Sheryl were equally pleased with their chicken and the Winston Burger. The Appetizer Sampler Platter was a delightful start, featuring BBQ meatballs, Gulf shrimp cocktail, crispy Brussels sprouts, and Heritage Cheese & house-made crackers. A truly delightful dining experience in a charming atmosphere. Highly recommend for special occasions or any time you crave superb food and impeccable service!

This place was awesome experience! Stop on the way back home from Indianapolis for dinner. We had the cheddar spread with homemade crackers for an appetizer. The kids got chicken strips and french fries. My wife ordered the chicken quesadilla and house salad. I got the classic Schuler's prime rib with a salad, potatoes and green beans! 😋 😋😋. Dawson was are waiter and did an amazing job. The meal came out a little slow so we were given free dessert. We didn't mind the wait because we had been in the car a while and the food was 🔥🔥. Highly recommend 💚 💯💯

A beautiful restaurant. The food was impeccable, and the atmosphere was calm, quiet, and inviting. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Briaket & mac-n-cheese....wonderful! I had the cheesecake for dessert, ehh, I can make better. And my friend ordered the Turkey pot pie and that was delicious! I highly recommend this for you next date night out!

Lovely historic restaurant and pub in what was once a hotel. The decor and ambiance is classic and refined. The service is prompt, friendly and professional. A bit pricey but the experience was worth the $90 (tip included) for two entrees and an appetizer. The crispy brussel sprouts were deliciously sweet with just the right amount of heat. The wife enjoyed the pecan-crusted chicken. I ordered the braised pot-roast which i literally cut with my fork.

Absolutely delicious. French onion soup & the grill chicken sandwich were fabulous. Seated near the fireplace was very cozy. The service was outstanding.

I went here for my first time with my girlfriend from Germany. We were both impressed with the food and atmosphere! I’ve always heard of Shuler’s and the legend it is. My great grandparents use to eat here all the time. I look forward to making it a traditional every year. The service was excellent! Our waitress, Roxie, was super awesome and explained the entire menu. The classic cheese ball, crab cakes, and lamb chops were all perfect!

Today, I just simply had a sweet tooth and since strawberries are in season, why not try out their Strawberry Delight!? I’m pleased to report that the experience lives up to the name. Fresh Strawberries and Whipped Topping on an Almond and Graham crust!!! Folks… No Cap. This was Amazing from the first bite to the last! #bigfacts #pricey.

Wife and I stopped in on our route to Kalamazoo. The waitress was absolutely fantastic when it came for recommendations as it was our first time there. Started with the meatballs, wife had the brisket sandwich and I got the Prime Rib. The Prime Rib was melt in your mouth and my wife loved her brisket sandwich, she even said it was just as good the next day as leftovers.
The atmosphere is very classic dining with tablecloths and it makes the experience all the more enjoyable.
If I am ever in the area again I would stop by in a heartbeat!

You get what you pay for. Fine dining at its finest. Tim, our waiter, was absolutely outstanding. A Beautiful calming atmosphere enhanced a pleasant dining experience. Food quality and presentation were exceptional.

We were there for my husband's employer Christmas party. From drinks to appetizers, a wonderful spread for dinner bumffet, to dessert all the food was wonderful! The service was accommodating, prompt, and friendly. The room itself was festive, and tables nicely spaced. It was a truly enjoyable evening, and I'd highly recommend Schuler's for similar events.

My husband and I came in for our anniversary. From the hostess to the waitress to everything in between, everything was wonderful. The pictures on the walls were beautiful. The stuffed mushrooms were great! Fresh cut fries were awesome. We decided on sandwiches and got the French dip and the brisket sandwich. Both were great. The staff really set the visit apart though. Our waitress was just so sweet. They even gave us a sweet gift for our anniversary. Now everytime we drink out of our glasses we will remember our trip.

Walk into a place that looks kinda like a Frankenmuth restaurant. Dark but absolutely beautiful inside. They have an amazing wine and spirits menu. Drinks were very good and hit the spot. I ordered a two napkin beef brisket sandwich. The brisket was juicy and very tasty. BBQ sauce with jalapeno spread and sweet pickles. (Not a super fan of sweet pickles, but on this sandwich is was very tasty with a sweet and spicy taste. French fries were beer battered and hot. Very tasty food and drinks. Service was pretty good she was very friendly and stayed on top keeping drinks toped off. Great first time experience here

Such a cool place! Great food and atmosphere! They really give you quite a bit of food. Including amazing bread and cheese and crackers. Quiet and comfortable dinning room.

This place is still awesome! Great food and great atmosphere. The food is always excellent 😊 everything is clean and the wait staff is always on top of their game. Check this awesome place out!

Very glad to have tried this place for a quick lunch. Very unique, and the food and drinks were delicious. Give this a try next time you’re rolling through.

Our first visit to Schuler's and I think we'll return. My wife had the New York Strip and I had the pot roast and both dishes were good. Our server, Burdette, was professional and knowledgeable. The prices are upper-mid range, but it was our anniversary so we felt okay splurging a little. Would recommend and will come again.
