The trails are very well kept, I like that you can stay on the path or wander off either on the beach or hike deeper into the forest. The restrooms are nice, I wish they had lights in them they are dark but Convenient. The scenery is very beautiful, A lot of raspberry bushes along the path, which ended up being a nice snack. I've been here a few times now and enjoy it every time. I suggest if you like hiking too visit it.

Pretty awesome hiking trail. It’s about 5 miles if you do the whole thing. Use “AllTrails” app to get the map on your phone. It would be extremely difficult to navigate without it. I’m 100% sure we would’ve gotten lost or ended up repeating sections and/or skipping other sections.

Stayed at a walk-in site over the weekend and had an excellent time enjoying the beautiful midwestern prarie and woodland trails that the park had to offer! Bathrooms and showers were always in good condition-with noticeable cleanings and soap refills etc. Saw endless rabbits, a few deers, and a couple of unassuming toads. The walk to Lake Michigan from the walk-in sites is a solid 30 minutes-but walking around the lovely Quarry Lake and through the forest made for a great nature walk.

Really nice place to have a picnic. There are so many nice spots to just kick in and relax for the day. The old quarry has some spots, but there will be a lot of foot traffic from the people walking on the trails. There are some scenic spots overlooking the Michigan lake with some nice isolation. The beach is awesome with great sand it is so soft and clean. Overall, it is a great experience. We need to visit this place again for the next opportunity to explore the trails in this park.

Updated Feb 2024 - road along beach is under repair, and bring sunflower seeds to feed birds! Video below.

Second time camping here, and still great. A park for introverts, private sites with ample space and ground cover between. Don't miss the moon rise over Lake Michigan. Shower building is newer than most other parks.

Great campsites, excellent paths, cool lagoon, and of course the sounds of Lake Michigan.

Very peaceful place to hike. Beautiful water scenery from both Lake Michigan and a quarry. Had a very selection of campsites as well.

I love this park it's small enough to be private and quiet but it's got so many beautiful walking paths through the woods and also along the beach

We love going here. You do need a state park sticker to enter. Costs $28 for a year. We had no issues with parking on a Friday afternoon. Picnic tables and grills as well as a nice playground for the kiddos. Restroom was pretty clean. Great beach area with sand. Saw a few deer in the woods. Highly recommend going here.

Lovely beach! Unlike any other beach we’ve been to. Maybe the timing but there were about 6 other people on the beach when we visited!
So much privacy.
This beach has now become our weekend hang out spot!

One of our favorite campsites!! This is by far the cleanest, most private and well-maintained park in Wisconsin. Thick shrubs separate each campsites, you can’t see your neighbor. Restrooms are verry verry clean, no smell at all! No poop stains in the back of the toilet lol wildflowers are everywhere and it seems like you’re in your own private huge garden.

It’s also close to Quarry Lake (which is awesome!) And Lake Michigan.

Harrington Beach State Park is great for short hikes, fishing, a quick swim, or a picnic. People were enjoying all of the above during our visit. The walk around the quarry lake was pretty short, but it offered some unique views.

One of the best state parks for a family camping trip. Only a few hiking trails but perfect for a day activity. Nice beach area with bathrooms and an outdoor shower and playground. A really fantastic weekend hangout.

We stayed at the campground during the week. The campsites are very private. You don't really know that you have neighbors. The main restroom was clean. Most of the campsites have a nearby pit toilet. Those were clean as well. The hiking and biking trails were easy. The beaches on lake Michigan were fun to walk.

I've driven by this park many times on my way somewhere else and for some reason never stopped. Well, I'm glad I did today! An absolutely beautiful hike! Lovely beach, well-kept trails and boardwalks, and very peaceful.

Enjoyed our 1 night stay at the campground. Spots are pretty private. Had to drive down to the beach but dog beach was worth it.

Spectacular place for a casual hike. Many great options, including prairie hikes, woodland hikes, and a beach hike. The quarry adds another item to the options: excellent views! Campsites are comfortable and well appointed with modern facilities.

Harrington Beach is wonderful place to escape the city. There's lots of forested trails and beach walks, scenic views and historical ruins. It's very dog friendly and is a great place to go year round. Camp sites offer some privacy (depending on time of year) fire pits and there are some electrical hookups. The bathrooms are clean and shower rooms are nice as well.

This has become my favorite Wi state park. It has all the wonder of Wyalusing and Devil's Lake with none of the BS. It's a smaller park, so fewer sites, but they are perfectly designed. Your vehicle acts as a privacy plug to the entire site. And it has a functional fire pit that limits your need for grilling gear. And the PATHS. OMGAWD. It is BEAUTIFUL. Lots of wildlife and hidden wonders.

We've hiked here a few times and camped here for the first time this summer. Beautiful park and beach. Downside - parking lot for the beach and trails near the beach is VERY small. Get there early to find a spot or you're stuck walking quite a ways from the closest road. Camp sites were quiet (we were like the only tent campers lol), showers were clean. If you're into fishing, I recommend fishing Puckett's Pond over Quarry Lake - the fish weren't very big but they were biting! We caught nothing at Quarry Lake. Trails are well kept. Make sure to bring a bag for garbage - no garbage cans around the beach at all.

Really pretty area a little confusing how to do anything as the park visitor center is closed and no real signage explaining why so deserted. Beautiful area - also new to the area had no clue how to inquire about camping just drove around…saw a park office on the way out but by the point was ready to go. Very beautiful tho!
