Outdoor Inn

Great place to stay. Microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, TV, internet, surprisingly cozy bed. Everything you need for a weekend away or a place to stay to go fishing on the river. Owners are very friendly, place was super clean, fantastic pricing per night! Well worth it! Will continue to go there when we go up to fish or whenever we are in the area.

We found this excellent motel on a trip to visit relatives.
The owners are very friendly and accommodating, the room was VERY clean and freshly decorated, and the beds were firm and comfortable.
We will definitely visit The Outdoor Inn next time we travel to Baldwin, Michigan!

I stayed here 2 nights, from August 4 to 7 (check out on the 7th). I completely appreciate the hospitality that both Brett (who I spoke to over the phone) and Millie (who checked me and my dad in) had to offer. They were both welcoming and very transparent about reserving a room at their Inn. When we arrived from MD to check-in on the 4th, it was quick and easy. We were in room #11, and the room served its purpose: 2 beds, a very clean bathroom, free coffee (which I thoroughly appreciate) and security. The accessibility was simple. I recommend staying here, if you're ever visiting Idlewild and/or Baldwin MI.

The owners were fantastic. Managed to get me a room last minute in bad weather.
The cleanliness was phenomenal . Decor was so cool. Nice facilities. Mini fridge/microwave. Coffee pot with enough coffee to make a pot ( not just 1 cup like most places). Can't say enough about the quality of this Outdoor Inn!! Thank you.

I have stayed at the Outdoor Inn many times over the last 5 years or so. Definately the best place to stay in Baldwin! The owners are wonderful and the rooms are always clean. If you are considering staying in Baldwin, do yourself a favor and stay at the Outdoor Inn!

Room was a little small, but that was no issue. Very comfortable for the 2 of us. Owners were great. Would definitely recommend it.

Owners are awesome, location is awesome, can even walk to the bars downtown as they are just under a mile. firepit out back was a great too, they even got nice chairs to sit in! Will be back soon!

We visited this place in the winter and the room was very clean very warm and conveniently located.
They also have Wi-Fi which works great. As it appears we were one of only a few people at the hotel, it was very quiet and our room was a dog friendly room which was really nice!

Stayed here with my mom and husband for a week. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. Highly recommend!

Hands down best service! Super friendly owner, our friends recommended this motel and we will definitely stay here again. Clean rooms, clean outside area also. The owner even got us in a night early so we could have a place to hide out from a bad storm, we didn't get there till 9pm but he stayed open to help us out. Just awesome!

Very clean, peaceful, relaxing. Host is friendly and attentive. Chairs in front of room are nice to sit outside. Awesome fire pit, I hope we have time to sit at! Exceeded my expectations!!!!

Terrific rooms and a great location. The rooms were so clean. The bed was comfortable and linens smelled so nice. The owners, Brett & Millie are very friendly. We were so happy we stayed there. It was like a Holiday Inn with a smaller feel. They also have a yard for outdoor activities like campfire or playing horseshoes. Wonderful in every way!

We stayed one night at Outdoor Inn before we went out on a 2 day Canoe camping trip down the Pere Marquette River. Super clean hotel with woodsy decor. Room is simple, but has a coffee maker, coffee, mini fridge. There were even packages of peanuts and bottles of water provided. The owners are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

We have stayed here 3 or 4 different times while kayaking the river just minutes away. The rooms are clean and the owners are wonderful. The price is very competitive in comparison to many other big name places that stuff you into a 4 story high rise building and charge you much more. The local flavor of Baldwin and the great up North feeling is what you experience at the Outdoor Inn. It's the best kept secret around.

The rooms are well maintained. Very clean and comfortable! Rooms were complete with microwave, coffee pot, small refrigerator, table and chairs and nice TV. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stay here again!

I have been coming here for years. The new owners keep the place just as clean and comfortable as the previous owners.It is always spotless,the beds are very comfortable, and they even use nice paper in the you know what. Nice people and a fair price. This is the place to stay in Baldwin.

Very clean,rooms are spacious,beds very comfortable,and plenty of wall outlets for chargers,cpap machines,etc. Reasonably priced,parking is good. Location setting pretty and centrally located to local restaurants,bars, and lakes. It's a really homelike atmosphere when your away from home. Owners are very helpful,hospitable, and friendly. Highly recommend your stay there.
