Delicious and friendly local restaurant owned by family. Highly recommend stopping here located in the Village of Baldwin, Lake Count, MI. Traveling with two ladies on the way to a church retreat at N Spider Lake Retreat Center, Traverse City MI.

Homemade food with fresh ingredients. They sell their own bread, too. Heard that the owners will sell by December 2023. Love their homemade pies, too.

First time here, we went in for breakfast. Friend had, egg, rye toast, and corn beef hash, she really liked it. I had 1 slice French toast, 2 eggs, bacon, and homemade toast, very good. We both had coffee, all for just under $19.
Sign on door did say, they were starting new hours next week. Will be closed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Open 7:00 A.M. to 7:00P.M. other days. May want to call and check this information, my memory isn't the greatest, lol.

Great food, only complaint of my group was their steak was a bit chewy. Very friendly staff, one of the girls there was cute.

They did allow us to bring extra breakfast home for a person who couldn't make it to the restaurant.

Lovely staff! Our waitress was running the floor smoothly and got us in and out quickly. I got the breakfast burrito and it was THICK and delicious! Would go again when I’m in the area.

The Northern Exposure Cafe has great food at a great price! We had omelets and they were filled with quality ingredients! Heather was out waitress, and she was phenomenal at her job! She was the only waitress on staff taking care of the whole dining room! The cook did a great job with getting the food prepared and cooked. They all worked like a well oiled machine! I would highly recommend dining here the next time you are either passing through, or staying in Baldwin, Michigan!!

Was in town to film and stayed in an airbnb cabin. This was one of the few places around and I got a take out. A BIG 'D' elicious! Burger was incredible with a huge amount of fries and Skittles was happy to get a few. Still waiting to finish the apple sauce. The waitress w the dreads was delightful. Prices good.

I grew up here and this was my first time eating here and I will say the food was delicious and the service was superb! Would highly recommend and their prices were very reasonable. I bring my family up 3 times a year and will definitely be back.

Super friendly and excellent service. Wonderful homey atmosphere. It's worth the money. Big portions of food 😋 If you go away hungry, it's your own fault.
