We loved the hometown atmosphere and always enjoy visiting local restaurants. This one did not disappoint! Our server, John was really nice and friendly! Very attentive! Our food was very good and attractively served. Definitely will be back to try the breakfast menu.

This place is a hidden gem! We live in Toledo but like to go for drives looking for different places to try out! Everything was homemade including the bread and buns. The loaded potato soup was delicious. Todd was very pleasant and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back. Can’t wait to try the breakfast!

My friend and I had met halfway in Toledo. Out for a little drive and happened to find the bakery. We decided to stay and try it out. There's not much else around. What a wonderful find! The food was excellent. The owner was so friendly and kind. We are taking another trip next week. Guess where we will be stopping!! Can't wait!

Stopped in for lunch with a couple of girlfriends. The service was great, and so were the sandwiches. I would definitely eat here again.
It's your typical small town diner. Pretty outdated, but if you're just looking for somewhere simple to go for a sandwich, it does the job!

We stumbled upon this place following signs from I-75 ... what a find! After a perfect meal, we enjoyed a warm personal chat with the owner and staff. Establishments like this a rare in America nowadays! We highly recommend everyone to stop in, enjoy the cuisine and a refreshing breather in Norman Rockwell's America.

We were on the way home from a road trip and needed a place to eat, so stopped in. The food was delicious. Some of the best ever. The server was new but very friendly and pleasant. A casual atmosphere.

Really good burgers and fish. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is that of a nostalgic bar/tavern. A hidden secret in Erie, MI. Will go again.

The yellow perch was phenomenal. Our server was friendly, prompt, and professional. Would definitely return and recommend to friends/ family.

Chief Todd is a gracious host and the food is superb. The sliders are a real treat with the home made chips.

My husband and I love this local gem ~ always great homemade food and fast service. We like the buffalo burgers, salads, soups and especially the homemade chips, buns, rolls and breads. My favorite is the cherry chicken salad on a wrap. Kudos to Todd the owner and his staff for a great lunch and dinner experience every time.

I was on the interstate making tracks across the country when I realized I wasn't going to make the next rest stop right off the interstate. I saw a Cafe on the map, so I planned on going there... unfortunately it was closed so I popped my head in here to ask if I could use their restroom. They had no problem with it and treated me with decency even though I didn't have the time to sit down as a customer at their establishment. If I did they could have served me a plain hard boiled egg and I'd have been grateful. Say what you want, these people cared about other people... that's something money can't buy and training can't give, you have it or you don't, you were raised with it or you learned it the hard way. I'm very grateful to have had my experience in Erie MI, just off Temperance Road!

If you like the "down home" feeling, then this place is for you!! They make you feel like family and comfortable when greeted with a friendly "hello". I will definitely go back again!!

I had the bison burger on a gluten-free bun, which they don't always have in store, but I got lucky, and it was so delicious! The burger was tasty and it was juicy. The bun held together and was moist. The seasoned fries were good too. Very good overall!

Great place! Chef Todd was the only one working and somehow was able to provide fantastic service! Food was excellent, fresh bread, fresh cut fries, bison burgers, yum! Thanks for a great meal!

My father and I got breakfast here one morning and really enjoyed the atmosphere. It has a dated classic American feel in a good way. The food was good old comfort food, freid eggs and toast. Prices were reasonable and bottomless coffee.

Everything made from scratch. Very good service very good food.

The food was amazing! And the owner was no nice! We were lucky to go in at a time when they were slow. Very happy since I had 2 children with me. Everyone is very nice. It was a very good experience and now one of my favorite places to go. For 2 adults and 2 children and 2 alcoholic beverages it was around 35 so very good price. And one of the meals was steak.

Guy fieri watch out this place is amazing everything from the most delicious mushroom burger and bison slider I had was phenomenal couldn’t have asked for a better experience the owner is definitely doing an awesome job.
