Such a perfect upscale restaurant for any time of the day. They do have a vegan option that is delicious! The complimentary bread is also very cute and tasty

Everything was excellent. Loved the atmosphere and decor! We celebrated Father’s Day with brunch at Zinc and then a Loon’s Game. Zinc was exactly what we were looking for. We all loved the items we ordered. However the Au Gus for the French Dip wasn’t as salty as we normally like it but it was still delicious! Service and presentation were impeccable.

Upscale is the best word to describe Zinc Cafe. It’s inside the lavish H hotel in the heart of downtown Midland. I stopped for breakfast and had their shaved steak version of eggs Benedict and all I can say is that I enjoyed every bite. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had although I would’ve preferred home fries I’m not a big fan of hash browns. In my opinion hash browns are a chef’s cop out from preparing breakfast potatoes from scratch. The prices were also upscale but not ridiculous.

Great café for a unique breakfast experience! We sat outside on the covered patio and were able to enjoy a delicious breakfast over steaming cups of coffee. I tried the Shrimp Caprese Benedict, and my partner tried the Cubano Benedict. Both were cooked perfectly with a variety of flavors. I'm definitely looking forward to dining here in the future!

For the little town of Midland, this was a big surprise. When the name says Cafe one is not expecting the upscale atmosphere and menu, that is if one is an out of towner. We didn't have the apparently needed reservation but they accommodated us anyway, much to or delight. Chef salad was excellent and the mousse cake Devine!

We ate in an outdoor pod for Easter; and everything was incredible! Really! Our server David was helpful, attentive, polite, quick, knowledgeable about every menu item we asked about, he gave great recommendations, and was all around a delight!! Everything we ordered was fantastic! I highly recommend their cocktails Wild Pear & White Dragon - delicious!! Food was amazing. And the whole atmosphere of the pod was fun & upscale. Entire experience was a good one. Will be back (:

Friendly, competent staff provided fast, accurate service.

Excellent food and appropriate portions. Hashbrowns were perfect. Omelet was fluffy and bursting with flavor. Eggs Benedict was terrific. Oatmeal and blueberry pancakes were a hit with 4 & 2 year old.

Classic wooden high chairs. Crayons and complimentary coloring sheets were appreciated.

Clean restrooms with changing station.

Cinnamon roll to go was perfect for travel, not too dry to crumble, not too gooey to share, held together by generous frosting, which wasn't too buttery. I wish I could have tried another still hot from the oven. Next time...

Excellent food and service! We especially like the Sunday brunch, breakfast is fantastic with several choices. And, reasonable on the budget for a loving treat after church. Thanks Zinc, Jerry and Teresa

Cafe Zinc is consistently good. It had been 10 years since going there, and it was exactly like I had remembered it. The restaurant was clean and well kept. The Ceasar Salad with chicken was excellent. They also offer brunch on Sundays. I highly recommend this place.

Very nice place, food was perfectly cooked. My wife ordered the onion soup appetizer and I hate onions and this was the very best onion soup in the world. I would order this every time from here. As you can see our fish was also cooked perfectly. If you are going make sure you call for reservations. We didn't call but we were able to be seated at the counter. This one of my wife's and I favorite place to for special occasions. If you want to impress your date or your wife this is a 5 star place.

Cafe Zinc is my husband & I's Anniversary spot each year. The food is top tier, service is always perfect, and the decor is always so beautiful. My 18 & 16 year old also love it as well. It's always at least $200 each time we dine in, but it's worth every penny. Memories are made, laughter is always present, and the quality is always on point.

Love the ambiance, the French onion soup was decent, but the fruit tart was delicious. Have been many times before and will definitely go back.

Pricey but delicious! I'm a coffee lover and espresso lover. The coffee tastes like watered down espresso. No buono on the coffee. Avocado toast! Steak and eggs! Perfection!

I've eaten here several times - it's always delicious and amazing service. This year, I ordered pastries for a small birthday dinner - and received a call from the chef to plan what I wanted! All for a very affordable price. Worth going to, or taking out.

Anna Marie took good care of us. The food was super, from Filet Mignon to kid French Onion Soup with shrimp (only $8!) Everything is styled to a French experience from the ambiance to the silverware. A surprising find!

Stopped here about 4:30pm on a Saturday and were able to be seated immediately on the L shaped patio without reservations.

They provide a basket of warm assorted bread for an appetizer. My entree was the fish tacos with fries and I had the creme brûlée for dessert.

The fish tacos were very good with plenty of chipotle sauce. The creme brûlée was plentiful and prepared perfectly.

Service was excellent keeping our water glasses filled on a extremely hot and humid day. Flat top tables with wicker chairs outside. Cloth napkins. Wifi. Limited street parking.

Inside was very elegant but my party wanted to sit outside due to COVID concerns. The only negative was loud vehicles (music, motorcycles, mufflers) going by.

Moderately high prices but probably the lowest in the trio of restaurants there. (118, the H and Cafe Zinc). I would recommend and would return.

You will get no better bread, pastries or lobster thermador ANYWHERE. I was visiting Midland for a couple's weekend and absolutely loved Cafe Zinc. We stayed at The H Hotel (which is all part of this complex: The Hotel H, Table, Oxygen and Cafe Zinc) for a couple of nights to celebrate my birthday.

We were seated outside on the patio situated right on Main Street. Great for people watching. Our dinner on Friday night was very special as I had their Lobster Thermidor and ABSOLUTELY LOVED it! My husband had the NY Strip Steak and he said it was very tasty and tender. We started our meal with the Parma fries and the Escargot with mushrooms. Both appetizers we delicious.

There are a few notable items was the baked goods. Actually, the desserts and the bread will know your socks off. With a huge selection of pastries you will find it hard to choose. The bread was so good we took a loaf home to our family. If you are around when the Farmer's Market is open, Cafe Zinc has a stall with all their baked goods. Stop by!

We did not have room for dessert (we were so stuffed) but we did try them out the next evening when we had cocktails at Oxygen. Why end a meal with dessert when you can start with one?

I also want to mention the breakfast skillets. We both had a hearty breakfast on Sunday and loved it. The hash browns are worth the trip alone. Don't skip breakfast it was so good!
