Homemade Cafe

If you’re in the Pepin area, treat yourself to a meal at this place. Big delicious breakfasts, good coffee, friendly people. Ask if they have farm fresh eggs to go and take a dozen with you. We were tempted by the cinnamon rolls but were just too stuffed. Next time, because we will definitely be back.

Ate here for the first time today. The whole experience was fantastic! The food, service, and atmosphere are all top notch! The owner personally brought to go boxes to our table and checked on the quality of our food. If you are looking for a great breakfast experience in the Mississippi River Valley check this place out.

Banana bread french toast was off the charts!! We had to come back the next day for breakfast because it was too good and the service was fantastic!

Great classic breakfast just like Mom would make it (but I don't have to get up so early). Friendly service. Pancakes are thick and the size of the plate! Waitress says they reheat great. Good, since I could only eat one of the two I ordered. 🙂 Took some pie to go for later!

awesome, awesome, AWESOME! staff are great, food is good, prices are perfect, very very warm-feeling welcoming atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend, will definitely be our new weekend breakfast spot.

This restaurant was incredibly welcoming and attentive to us. Inside or outside is a great experience and the food is exceptional. We ordered 3 different sandwiches and all of them killed. Their pies are delicious too. We will be back

Great small town diner. Had lunch, have had breakfast here before. Would highly recommend if you are in the area and looking for some good food. The menu is deep enough to not have to have the same thing, better than the typical burger and fries

We stopped for lunch today, just before you were closing. You treated us as if we were your most important customers of the day, not your last customers - thanks for that. And thanks for loving on our greyhound/deerhound cross, Shae. We'll be back, hopefully for breakfast next time!

Great food at a quaint little cafe. I stop every time I get to Pepin, WI! I miss these homemade food places. Wish there were more "mom and pop" places like this!

Excellent place for breakfast, food is very hearty and delicious. Lots of choices on the menu. Friendly staff.

We enjoyed a wonderful pancake breakfast in the outdoor seating area. The food was very good. The pancakes were huge and full of flavor. Egg omelette was hearty and sides were plentiful to round out the meal.

Service was great.

Me and my SO were in Pepin for the weekend for a family wedding at the local Vineyard, and wanted to have a nice breakfast and explore the town. This little cafe was a few blocks from our hotel, and was a wonderful experience! The food was delicious, the service very friendly and timely, and the atmosphere was so welcoming! If we ever find ourselves back in town for a weekend getaway, we will definitely visit again. 😊

Cute, friendly little cafe. Sometimes busy because the food is excellent. Excellent breakfast. Biscuits and gravy are light and fluffy. French toast is perfect. Eggs/meat always hot and delicious. Good coffee, great service. Great for lunch as well...they do serve beer, mimosas, craft beer. Highly recommend for good food and friendly service.
