Nice ramp. Plenty of space to launch comfortably. Fish cleaning station is nice. Wish there was more than 1 light in the parking lot.

I loved our stay! The campsite was plenty large for our trailer, campground was very quiet and clean. The beach was so clean and opened. There was a breeze every time we went down to the water. Our favorite place hands down was sitting by the channel watching the boats pass through. We will be be back for a longer stay.

I took my child here to watch the sunset. Which was absolutely amazing. We parked by one of the free "grab a bag" stations for "dog waste". Unfortunately, some visitors decided they needed to leave their trash in that exact spot. Typically the park is immaculate and very well kept. It is so unfortunate that some people feel the need to trash such beautiful places that we have access to like this. So many people enjoy visiting our local beaches and to see trash all over, is absolutely disappointing. Not only for visitors but for the wildlife as well. I give the park 5 stars as this is such a beautiful and amazing place to go. But we need to do better as humans and the community, at keeping our beaches and dunes clean and free of trash like this.
Other than stuff like this trash, caused by uncaring people, this park is a great place to visit! I have lived here my whole life and couldn't count the number of times I have been down here. I will continue to visit as long as I am able. We highly recommend this spot for your all of your beach therapy needs and to view an amazing sunset!

Love this beach! I've been coming here since I was a child. Also like to go down to the channel and watch the boats. Nice little walk way out to the big water. Highly recommend you check it out!

First time at Muskegon State Campground and will be back! The camp sites are big but are on a slope. The sunsets are absolutely perfect on the beach just a 5 minute walk from camp.

The beach is beautiful and has several parking areas. There are also dune trails you can hike in the area, but need good hiking/walking shoes for those as there is underbrush in areas that could be dangerous with bare feet. If you head north along the scenic drive there are beautiful lookouts to pull off at and other smaller parks along the way. Overall a great area to explore and a great day trip!

We camp here every year. Beautiful campground and beach. Dogs are allowed on the beach. There is a walkway along the channel from Muskegon Lake to Lake Michigan. It's fascinating to watch the parade of vessels go by. Everything from jet skis to freighters pass through in an unending parade.

I LOVE this campground. Nice, clean big bath houses. Very shady and great place to see sunset on Lake Michigan if you can catch it not cloudy.
Our 28 ft. trailer fit nicely on #A11. Was concerned road on 3 sides of our site, but during the week no problem with privacy.

We really enjoyed our time camping here. We had an electrical problem on our panel and the staff was very helpful in getting us moved to a much nicer site. Many have water views. It's easy to ride bikes around and the beach has a large sandy area to accommodate all.

Muskegon State Park is definitely worth a visit! It offers gorgeous beaches, hiking trails, a sports complex (winter sports, zip lining) and camp grounds. Ample firewood for campers on nearby residential roads.
The channel camp grounds sit next to the channel where many interesting water craft go by. The walkway along the channel is lovely.

Nice place to come for some sunset watching. Lots of parking and beach to walk, more private feeling than other areas. Very natural setting also which makes for great dune climbing and pictures!
